I love how the idiots at the Globe comments attack Harper for calling out Iggy on his blatant lies..
I wonder how many of them were suitably outraged when the Liberals went after Day or Manning, or even Harper re; his interaction with his kids , wife, faith etc.
‘f’in hypocrites..
Chutz
The Libs should have picked a leader who wasn’t so toxic within the party, maintaining the coalition. But CC is polarizing, not just on her Lib roots, but her recent actions and comments when she was a talking head on NW, routinely denigrating and slamming PMSH…..and now she wants to play nice, because she’s just a hockey mom, after all…..
Iggy, Clark, Rae, all moral relativists, and wanting power for the sake of power……
perhaps john cummins will be able to breathe some life into a nascent BC Conservative party..
i’ve met cummins…good man..all the right instincts to my mind……
anything is possible…hopefully…except of course the kneedippers or old yes i was a yank i loved pierre trudeau beaver teeth gaining any traction..
it should be a very simple matter to force CC to do our bidding if one were to hold her feet to the fire vis a vis the BCRail scandal….
If anyone wants to see unthinking, unquestioning reproduction of unfiltered Tory talking points, all they need to do is come to this web site.
ah…the ‘lloyd fister’…
rather than misdirect or get all emotional ‘lloyd’
why don’t you get down and lay it on us?
fax lloyd…we want fax…fax that are the undeniable troof…troof about this and that about the cons vs the libs…and the difference between the two…and why the cons are bad…and your team are good…
i of course am waiting as are all the rest of us poor forked animals for your disquisition…
john begley, don’t press Mister Fister for a fax, when a posted explanation of his curmudgeonly message would do. I’m still waiting for him to prove that Harper went into a hidey-hole, as he asserted in 2008. (Doncha just love Google?)
Iggy’s latest commercial…..why didn’t he promise a free puppy, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet?
Patrick B @ 12:07, yes, it is offensive, extremely so, especially to those, such as my wife’s and my families who left with literally the shirts on their backs.
Joe Molnar @ 12:24, Russia and Ukraine have largely abandoned what Mr. Iffy would like to implement here. I believe this occurred within a month or so of the collapse of the Marxist utopia around 1990.
sasquatch @ 12:45 knows of which he speaks.
maz2 @ 1:24 found some other true information.
zog clinches it @ 1:33. I agree, it is not his pedigree that is the problem, it is his hypocritical lies.
The White movement was made up of a broad cross section of society and consisted of peasants, middle class, aristocrats farmers and business people. Half of the top White military leadership came from peasant parentage. Generals Kornilov and Denikin were peasants, General Wrangel came from minor nobility and Admiral Kolchak came from a middle class family.
We saw the former Ignatieff palace in St. Petersburg in 2008. It has been restored and is quite impressive.
i dinna wish for a fax…i want factsx damnit…
but i’m not sanguine..yappy little fookers like ‘lloyd’ never lower themselves to mano a mano debate…
his mum might raise his rent…
Ignatieff ancestry = Russian dictatorial warlords = African warlord = acceptable Liberal immigrant to Canada.
What is so complicated about that?
john begley: I agree 100% about John Cummins being a good man. It is sad that Harper never used this man’s talents. But, after slinging in the mud in Ottawa for as long as he has I don’t think John would be able to handle the smell of politics in BC. One could wish though. He sure would be a breath of fresh air.
Ha! My grandparents came here about the same time Iggy’s lot did, with a hell of a lot less. I don’t see that says anything at all about -me-, other than I don’t LIE about it for political gain on nation wide TV.
Susan Delacourt, typically of Red Star employees, attempts to smear the CPC for catching Iggy in a transparent and obvious lie. Surprise, not.
I’m getting to the point these days where I not only don’t buy the Red Star, I don’t even follow links to it. There’s no need, I know what they are going to say before they do. It never changes, same deal every day.
The comments were interesting though. Who knew the Libs had enough dough to pay that many shills?
Mr. Begley, you just made up the whole thing about aristos tucking their shirts into their undies, right? How would anyone know that, unless they were royal dressers or launderers? You weren’t one of those, were you?
I don’t care about Iggy’s ancestors. I have enough trouble looking at Iggy. If the country needed an undertaker, he’d be perfect for the job.
His carry on about how horrible Stephen Harper is , ‘spending all that money like a drunken sailor’ stuff while trying to work up some sort of outrage over it just makes me cringe.
He has not the faintest clue about this country , let alone running it. More to the point he does not care. You can tell!- He mouths words but they have no depth and no emotion.
If Canada wants to scare the world to death, I guess Iggy might do, but I do not think he could muster enough emotion for even that.
Stephen Harper is doing a damn good job and so are the Conservatives. No body’s perfect and last time I looked, nobody was carrying cash out the back door in a paper bag.
So the libs and nippers can just shut the hell up.
As for the Bloc. They have NO say and should go home to Quebec. No one who does not have a presence in every province of this country should ever hold seats in parliament nor should they get federal funding as though they did.
We need to FIX that. The conservatives deserve a chance at a majority government for that reason alone.
The fact that they have run a pretty good ship as a minority government , had the moxy to out fox the ‘coalition coup’ attempt along with a steady hand at the till of this country during dark and dangerous times is endorsement enough for me.
Frankly I am out of patience with people trashing good people doing a good job who deserve praise rather than politically motivated hit jobs in the media all day long, all from questionable sources including the political ones.
When I see Iggulas furry frown, the tune “pop goes the weasel”, runs through my mind, alongside a banner proclaiming “I’m entitled to my entitlements”.
With all the recent election talk, this goes a long way to helping me sleep at night.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an opposition leader nearly salivating at the mouth and groveling so pathetically for the PM position as Iggy does.
That loathsome characteristic alone turns my stomach switching between channels. Worse is the intuitive feeling that with all his hat in hand, love me like a lost puppy theatrics, lurks a truly sick mind desperate to get his hands on the cookie jar and rape it like no other liberal has before him.
A vote for this pathetic creature should not even enter the consciousness of a sane Canadian.

Why does this make me think of Count Ignatieff forcefully knocking up the cookie jar full of chocolate chicks?
It was your wild metaphors what made me do it….:)
