Guergis-Jaffer: State Of The Nation

I forget where I read this but the CBC spent 15 years on Schrieber. I think it may be part of the blurbs for Cashore's new book. Gawd,if they only spnt 15 minutes to find out which liberals recieved sponsorship money.

A little googling and I found it. -The book, entitled The Truth Shows Up, is Cashore's personal account of the CBC fifth estate team's 15-year odyssey to nail down who got a share of the $25 million in secret commissions paid out by Airbus after Air Canada, then a Crown corporation, purchased 34 of its aircraft for $1.8 billion in 1988.

CBC did not spend 15 years trying to find who got commisions,CBC spent 15 years and untold millions and produced 9 'fifth estate' shows about this trying to make Mulroney,and therefore all conservatives look greasy. It would be interesting to find out how many liberals took money after 1993. It would be interesting if Harvey told us how much of his research overlapped onto our dimes. It would be VERY interesting to hear how much the CBC spent pursuing this lost cause.

Nothing will come of Jafferguergis except a lot of innuendo. Every Liberal fart catcher in the MSM has been turning over every possible rock for over a month now looking for any evidence that Jaffer or any of his loser friends tapped into gov't money.

And they still have NOTHING. Probably because there is NOTHING. Jaffer was well known within the CPC caucus as a boob. Having coffee with him so he can introduce his new career promoting green schemes for his boobish friends is not a crime.

Eventually the public will realize there is no beef in the Jafferguergis bun. And that Iggy has no plan and no platform except to chase fake scandals.

The only thing I find odd about Jaffer and Guergis is how they failed to become Liberals.

I'm sure this is where the Liberal angst is coming from too, it's a case of copyright infringement more than anything else.

I think this attack on Jaffer by the likes of OMalley and Fife the CBC etc is the most vile form of racism Canada has ever seen! Mr. Jaffer escaped Uganda only to come to the hotbed of Lieberal racism called Canadas parliment hill. If Mr. Jaffer was the same color as Fife, and a Lieberal, Fife would be slinking away like a bad dog. Shameful racists bastards FIfe and your ilk are.

It is about F*$#@ time politicians stopped trying to win by painting the the other team with a "scandal". Its about time for politicians to start demonstrating how they can provide good government with the least cost to tax payers. The government has never been much of a solution for anything or anyone. The tipping point is coming - the middle class is going to let loose and government will change. People are tired of the government picking their pockets. And there is nothing more annoying than social engineering. Social justice seekers - f&^%$ off.

Don't ask me what "liberatory" means. It's all academic gobbledygook to me.

I'm just curious whether they have a Department of Dog Justice or of Bole Weevil Justice or Crab Apple Justice, or Road Apple Justice for that matter. Inquiring minds want too know.

Fundamentally, the term "social" has replaced the term "Dutch" as an adjective of negation. Think of terms like "dutch treat", "dutch oven", "dutch uncle" and so on, terms that signify that the noun is not what one might normally understand. Now consider terms like "social justice", "social democracy", "social development", which, in fact, reverse the ordinary meaning of the noun.

I think Jaffer should be fired out of a cannon. That mudflap IS dirty and greasy and he should do time. And no - don't play the 'race card'. Jaffer is a token and he acted like one. End of story.

The scabby liberals close ranks around liberal men like Jaffer and we as conservatives are made of better stuff. I will not defend that piece of chit.

The CBFC actually got one right and you should all take note because it doesn't happen often. The conservatives are dirty and greasy and they are no better than the liberals.

Fortunately here in Alberta we have the Wild Rose party. Maybe we should give them a shot.

I don't generally bring a gun into the bank, so was unable to pull an Elvis and shoot out the big screen TV behind the tellers yesterday, so more or less had to watch CBC with closed captioning.
I couldn't believe my eyes: promoting an upcoming show, "The Inside Story of the Airbus Affair".

I never did acid in the late 60s, just a very small amount of pot and hash over a short period. So, I don't think I'm experiencing flashbacks.

Gave up on CTV when they ran their evening headlines on an email hoax " it's as big as the MOON! " ..stupid arses.

For example, what do Canadians know about their own immigration policy from our CDN media? How has it changed in recent decades and how has it affected us and Canada during the rapid influx and etc? ANY major CDN news outlet doing this? Other than the occasional OP/ED column.

Afterall, you do know, don't you, that the Wild Rose Pary is an upstart Provincial party, not federal? The Wild Rose is in an effort to regain the premiership for Calgary, nothing more. Meanwhile, we in Edmonton are garnering some much-needed infrastructure projects that Calgary cashed in on from the public taxpayer coffers during the reigns of Lougheed and "King" Ralphie Klein. Federally, what we need is a Prairie Bloc Party with the oil-producing Alberta and Saskatchewan provinces. We need to protect our future from The Rest of Canada.

I like how this hack wanna-be "journalist" uses italics to insinuate some sort of impropriety when none actually exists. In stating that nothing illegal occurred, she suggests that if the laws were different, then certain actions would be illegal, as if it's some sort of loophole.

And all of it seems to be simply related to the generic attempt to cover her hindquarters from some previous shoddy attempts at "journalism."
