"We'll Go Down In A Subway To The Sea"

As we live a life of ease(life of ease)
Every one of us(every one of us) has all we need,(has all we need)
Sky of blue,(sky of blue) and sea of green,(sea of green)
In our subway (In our subway) to the sea. (to the sea) ( Haha! )*

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

LA Weekly, March 22nd - ...Villaraigosa said he's out of options for patching up the deficit.

Spend less?

running out of other people's money to spend

Maybe I'm being dopey and missing something, but don't you need at least two things for the juxtaposition?

I'll just assume you had a late night. Both items are in the same link.

It is so pathetic as to be almost beyond words. Do these people, I'm now thinking of Bob Rae, actually believe themselves. It appears that they actually want to collapse the system.

Our soon to be gone mayor here in Calgary sings a very similar song.

Our survey's show Calgarians want this. But the survey never asks how much of a property tax hike they are willing to pay for it.

If you ask someone if they want more parks, parking, cops, over-passes, firehalls, bike paths and less traffic problems, crime, graffiti; of course they'll say yes. Ask them if they are willing to pay for it and its quite a different story.

Then quit.

In the future, California is going to fall into the sea.

And ain't no one gonna notice.

"We have contracts with our employees that we have to abide by. So unless they agree to sharing in the sacrifice in these tough times, I won't have a lot of options."

Nonsense...Union Contracts don't prevent pink slips when the City has no Money...Fire them all and let the Courts try to collect from Taxpayers that refuse to pay..LA's best faith was false faith

Ken@4:44 The conclusion I came to a long time ago.

THat lovely Beatlesque ideal of a humane lworld of no want is the antithesis of modern green left. THGey tell us we have had it too good too long and a world of humanitarian no want is unsustainable. Stark austerity is a holy pledge to Gaia.
