High-Fives to Mr. Poilievre! Too bad the Liberals -like all the West's leftists- don't have the capacity to feel rightfully earned shame or embarrassment, which this zinger should have caused them.
And catch-22 at 12:01 PM, I liked your ironic sarc. No doubt, the (equally shameless) CBC's "journalists" were too busy to record that beautiful exchange; being wrapped up in "investigating" (aka manufacturing stunningly outrageous lies about) Conservative "war crimes" in Af-stan. :-)

This month marks the anniversary of Greek independence. If the Greek patriots of 1821, who fought a life or death struggle against the vast Ottoman Empire could see the present state of affairs, I am sure they would be crying bitter tears. One hundred eighty nine years later their progeny have squandered the very freedoms that they fought so hard for."

"But by night, Garlasco was “Flak88”, an obsessive contributor to internet forums on Third Reich memorabilia and an avid collector of badges and medals emblazoned with swastikas and eagles.
A lavishly illustrated $100 book he compiled and self-published is dedicated to his grandfather, who served in the Luftwaffe. On members-only sites such as Wehrmachtawards.com he was writing comments like “VERY nice Hitler signature selection”; “That is so cool! The leather SS jacket makes my blood go cold it is so COOL!”
An interest in Nazi memorabilia does not necessarily suggest Nazi sympathies — but it is hardly likely to play well in the salons where Garlasco’s employer might solicit donations.
Human Rights Watch started small, but there is now a grandness about it, a deep hum of power and connectedness. In Los Angeles, its annual Hollywood dinner is said to raise more than $2m. When he was guest editor of Vanity Fair, Brad Pitt published a profile of the executive director, Kenneth Roth.
In London, HRW’s board meetings and fundraising parties are held in huge houses in Notting Hill and Hampstead, with wealthy expat Americans — “the Democratic party in exile”, one board member calls it — vying to outdo each other in lavishness. Significant contributors in the UK include Tony Elliott, the owner of Time Out, and Catherine Zennstrom, whose husband, Niklas, created Skype. When the philanthropic London-based banker John Studzinski joined the board it was proof positive that he had “made it”.
The enthusiasts for Third Reich memorabilia who meet up in cyberspace make up a cosy little community. In one posting Garlasco put up a photograph of himself wearing a sweatshirt with an Iron Cross on the front, sitting next to his daughter. One of his internet buddies comments: “Love the sweatshirt… Not one I could wear here in Germany though — well I could but it would be a lot of hassle.”
Garlasco certainly seems to have been more open with his online collector friends than he had been with his employer. “Flak88” was more than happy to talk openly about his day job."
In various media, 'member' is the term often used when referring to a particular part of the male anatomy. I believe this reference to Iggy was quite apt. :~)
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice
of an ordinary Canadian
yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I can't answer or use every
tip, but all are
appreciated!

Until I opened and read the link...I naturally assumed this was more troglodite crap about Ann Coulter.
I can hardly wait to see a clip of that exchange on tonight's CBC news.
"Reform-conservative-republican movement". Like that's supposed to be an insult? Ha! It's no insult to me, it's a frickin compliment!
And that was a very good reply, Pierre!
Canada needs more Poilievres !!

Really, how could they possibly reply?

And hippies stink - at thinking also.
To Quote Don Cherry,"beeeauty".
I wonder what Mr Ignatieff has to say about that in his moleskin red book.
Or is that illegible too?
That was one for the verbal smack-down "Hall of Fame". I think the funniest part is because it is true.
Nice one Pierre!
The LPC leader is in "Shock" and "Awe"...
Or perhaps a little "Donner" and "Blitzen"!

Hey Dave:
Here's the dirty little secret.
Much of the alleged war crimes happened during the Liberals' last watch.
link doesn't work for me
Dave in Pa moves "High-Fives to Mr. Poilievre!"
Second that motion.
Blanks,
Just go to the Hansard's web site and select 26 March. Select "Oral Questions" and then "Political Activism".
