It's hard to keep your lunch down after reading that.

This says as much about the journalistic integrity of the CBC as a whole, as it says about Ms. Barton herself. What absolute drivel -- posted proudly under Ms. Barton's photograph.

Another socialist shrieking harridan. Just what the CBC needs to increase its viewership.

CBC . . . our home team for wannbe marxist progressives.

What Gord said.

I can't wait for the book to show up in the $1.99 bargain bins!

The worship of Obama is reminiscent of teenybopper magazines in the 60's and 70's gushing on over Donny,David,Bobby, etc.,and their remarkable "cuteness".

These so-called "journalists" reporting on a politician who happens to be a PC phenom, is beyond juvenile, just plain embarrassing.

The Internet/Blogs have taken over the quality news information business so the MSM migrates to what is left for them - the Tabloid market.

You could post that beside your phone instead of the number for the Poison Control Center, in order to induce vomiting.

CBCpravda ALL OBAMA ALL THE TIME

you just don't get much for a billion a year. and even less with the dollar almost at par.

Is this what passes for a CV in Canadian journalism?

What is the wet-panties group gonna say when history proves that B.O. was the new Jimmy Carter presidency, worse, because it destroyed the US economy?

Do you think they will be embarrased?

Not a bit.

They will blame the right for sabotaging the progressives.

"all of Canada heard her...."

Well I didn't, thank God

"And you thought Peter Mansbridge wore his heart on his pants leg."

I always thought that was Cynthia Dale's thong. Or was it Wendy Mesley's? I can't remember, they all look like Polar Bears to me.

Now I know that Obama is a Muslim.

You can tell by his MSM harem!!!

That about covers it!
Apparently she has a history of being out in the cold. Another great moment in CBC self lather!

You would think after the read that, even the CBC'ers would think it sounds pathetic...as for Mansbridge, as much as I dislike him, I still admire him for bagging Wendy Mesley,,always had a thing for her

I expect she had shivers up her leg.

This is that joker dude she's on about, right?

Rosemary Barton...Carleton Alumnus, would you hire one?

Enough said!

" mini-speaking tour.
a few people to gawk.
her small entourage,
stared openly."

Why isn't she covering the villians of the WWF?

She would have surely wet her pants meeting her top political idol, Che, but it might have been from the gun barrel placed on her head.

I hesitate to admit, we actually enjoy watching "Heartland" on CBC Sunday nights.
So far, so good, plotwise.
However I am am apprehensive of what's to become of a decent, though at times sappy western oriented program.
I can't believe CBC influenced writers haven't yet written in homosexual bronco busters or lesbian horse trainers.
The oil driller is just borderline evil so far, but lurking, and the endangered burrowing owl and pine beetle spayers haven't made the storyline to date.

As soon as the political messages happen "Heartland" will have ended as my only CBC fare.

Well, OK, Don Cherry and Hockey night is one other CBC I do watch.

Pay her no mind. It's probably just the frontal lobotomy talking.

God, haven't watched TV newscasts for many years. Back then all the news dollies were getting full scale new choppers along with starvation cheeks one at a time that made them look like either Chretien or a moose kicked she wolf while they healed. Guess things haven't changed much except maybe the networks have to buy carbon credits now while their talking heads are under the knife.

Joe Molnar, I watch the CBC's 'Dragons Den' (and its jazzier twin, 'Shark Tank.')

Kevin O'Leary makes my little heart beat faster when he says to an earnest, sweating entrepreneur trying to wrest some investment cash from the Dragons, "Money has no feelings." LOL.

As for Rosemary Barton, I didn't know who she was 'til now. Chris Matthews in drag?

Apparently, Lisa Van Dusen of Sun Media would also like Obama's love child.

I'm with Mr. Lahey... Gotta hand it to Mansbingo for bagging both Mesley and Dale. I met Mesley once - of course it was 20 years ago. Cowabunga!

I'm willing to give Barton the benefit of the doubt (sorry) and float the possibility that this was an exclamatory statement, and not a twitterpated one.

If only she had been able to touch the hem of his garment...

Please, please Mr. Politicians privatize the CBC and let it wax or wane.

The MSM produced this?

What a fluff load of crap.

I was wondering how she got her position at the CBC.
I guess she won the 'Best Obama Tongue Bath' award.

She looks permanently stunned.

Her bio won't be up long, after Bob 'The Drama Guy' Macdonald made a fool of himself with his columns on climategate at the CBC's Quirks and Quarks his bio mysteriously disappeared.
I guess they didn't like the tons of comments asking why they should be listening to a drama major on science matters.

You might want to check out Andrew Coyne at MacLeans OL... soem cheery words about what may be in store for the CBC!

Coyne on the CRTC

I love the pretense of CBC requiring experience on a reporter's CV when all that's needed to climb the salary ladder at the CBC is having the right politics.

Sell 'em off to Fox or move head office to Moose Jaw, just give the smug commie yappers a dose of over due humility.

Go easy on Rosemary, guys. She has a fantastic rack.

"all that's needed to climb the salary ladder at the CBC is having the right politics."

Politics? So all those rumours about playing the right solid dicks were just rumours?

OMMAG
Caught this at the Globe and mail earlier today.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/arts/television/why-the-cbc-should-stop-the-hissy-fit/article1509634/

"Horror! Murder in Gatineau, Quebec. The CRTC has killed the CBC. Driven a stake through its heart."

I wanted to comment 'be still my beating and hopeful heart' and inquire about an addie to send along my heartfelt thanks, but no comments allowed there for some odd reason.

"Go easy on Rosemary, guys. She has a fantastic rack."

Krista Erickson will make you pay for that comment, infidel.

Meeting someone wearing one of those Che t-shirts (maybe it was our friend T!) - one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter - I suggested he wear it in downtown Miami. Any normal person would be embarrased.
