Elizabeth May on the hidden talents of Stephen Mesmer-Harper:
Murray Dobbin: "Do you think Harper has deliberately set out to discourage people from voting?"
Elizabeth May: "Absolutely. People thought that Harper had become more popular between the 2006 and 2008 elections but not so: 170,000 fewer people voted for a Conservative candidate in 2008 than in 2006. His larger seat count is a tribute to his ability to discourage people from voting."
Apparently his special powers work best against potential Green Party voters.

"Powerful conservative forces still operate within the party creating tensions. "
damn! my cover is blown!
btw, this proves the hypothesis that pot makes you paranoid doesn't it?
I think her diarrhea of the mouth is a hoot.
Something like good clean sick jokes. Hope she keeps up-chucking because it's the best
infomercial on mental health I have seen in a long time.
In other news, Stephen Harper's Orbiting Brain Lasers continue to invoke fear of Elizabeth May's Green Party, causing leftist heads to slowly steam in their own juices.
Butter producers, however, are reporting another banner year.
"sophisticated marketing genius of the Karl Rove variety."
LOL, its a BUSH conspiracy...!

Murray Dobbin, tiresome old commie, discourses with rabid Druid Lizard May on the best ways to destroy Canada with a combination of Gaiaism and Marxism. When will they hook up with Islamism, I wonder?
Time to break out an old standby:
http://eclectech.co.uk/mindcontrol.php
whaddabout the Green Conspiracy? everytime I pick up a nickle I think of Dizzy Lizzy May
terminally stupid woman.
The sad part is I believe people that vote Green still deserve better. I believe the Screech Owl should stay in the wilderness.
"My own view is that the Greens' primary goal is not [to] gain power"
Mission Accomplished!
This women is addicted to ridicule. There is no other explanation.
Delusional Moon Battery as art-form.
"I still feel that the aborted coalition was a very hopeful thing even to just have had it floated on the political stage"
So, is it now fair to refer to Layton,Duceppe, and Ignatieff as "abortions"?
"Without a presence in the House of Commons you really are off the bus..."
Yes, Murray, it's called "democracy". You see, to have a presence in the Commons you actually have to be elected to it.
Now then, off you go to fuss over Hugo Chávez's fading fortunes.
Perhaps later we can meet at the nursing home/commune for a lusty round of old Spanish Civil War ballads in honour of the Mac-Paps?
What a total fool. If anything, I think people are tempted to vote for Harper so SHE doesn't get into the House of Commons!
If people were angry with PM Harper would not more people voting to get him out! Miss May has not shown one moment of leadership. She does not run in ridings where she has a chance of winning rather where the camera will most likely follow her! It was her words that threw her own potential MP'S under the bus. In my riding the Green's ran a very nice, intelligent and mainstream woman. I bumped into her on the election campaign several times and we both wished each other the best. However come election night she was 50 votes short of her 10% thus not getting her full refund back. She blamed her vote lost entirely on Miss May's instructions to green voters to vote Liberal!
I can tell you one thing for a fact, her door knockers here in Sidney are just as dumb as she is, without a doubt.
What she has to do to make herself more popular is: a)lose 50-100 pounds, the fat doesnt go with her message of restraint, energy reduction and cutting back consumption.
b)shut her yap-hole.
JJM, that is funny. Somehow I do not think wannabe Commissar Dobbin would not like to knock back a pint with us dogfaces.
It is not as funny as it sounds. It is the core leftist idea of controlling the masses.
'We have every intention of running a strong national campaign, focus on winning in Saanich-Gulf Islands, ...'
Good luck with that Miss. May. I think voters will not miss May and will Lund at the chance to vote.
Seriously though, politicians do IMO discourage voters form actually turning out at the polls. It's a numbers game.
Lizzie slapping her tail on water warning of the perils of voting for Harper is too much for one to take after a big lunch.
"Lizzie slapping her tail on water warning..."
It's too bad that after she also doesn't just dive underwater and disappear from sight.
I think Tin Lizzy moved approx 4000 miles west to a riding in BC for the next fed. election. If I may suggest she should move another 1 to 2 thousand miles west so she can activley save the other whales. She will probably have to take off the Beaver disguise so she doesn't scare them off also.
I'm counting on Elizabeth May running true to form and failing to win a seat in the next election.
The gruesome thing is, she always rises to the surface again like a Jack Handey water skier in quick sand, mud dripping all over.
How DOES she do that?
i wouldn't lay on the beach lizzie, you might get mistaken for a whale.
The best thing that could happen to a CPC candidate is to have this yappy little terrier run against them. Nobody (except for a delirious few) takes her seriously anyway.
She's still the leader of the weenie party?.I thought her good members were trying to boot her hynie out??
Ohh c'mon, after all the posts I've read here of people declaring that because of Harper, Prentiss etc they're not going to bother to vote for the Conservatives next time around, Jizzie Lizzie's bolded quote is not that unreasonable.
After all the posts? By the same three people.

That is some serious fact juggling you got going on there abcd.
Not one question on climategate, IPCC, fraudulent data. It is almost like they are hiding something.
Living down here in New Mexico now I of course don't get to hear those remarkable pearls or wisdom that Liz is oh so famous for. I'd almost forgotten how incredibly stupid she is.
Harper also causes AGW-related earthquakes and tsunamis with the power of his mind.
BTW, I recall a poll from two elections ago that showed about 97% of Green Party supporters could not name a single Party policy plank.
Pooh floats.
For the love of gawd, when will someone put her out of 'our misery' and send her home to the US.
Another thing that boggles the mind, she has reproduced.
Yup, apparently "conservatives" HardBoiled, and Aaron will be voting for MsMay.
"Proportional representation" yeah right! I spoke to a friend (who hates Harper, Day and Obama so I guess he's moderate)who said: "I've voted Liberal my whole life. There isn't a chance in f'n hell that I'd join any type of coalition with the NDP".
I love it!
Liberals will NEVER support proportional representation. EVER!
I think Elizabeth May is an excellent leader for the Green Party.
She embodies everything the Green Party stands for and articulates it with passion.
If she remains leader of the Green Party until there is not longer a Green Party then I think that is good.
She gets things wrong from time to time but that's on par with the Green Party's general platform.
Can Darth Steve please work his dark magick on American Democrats?
Her comments on the aborted coalition show a distinct lack of respect for the Canadian election process - proving once again, she is on drugs, and cheap ones at that!!
Off Topic, but there is an awful lot of moaning going on over at the CBC website.
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2010/02/10/csis-tommy-douglas-.html
Seems CSIS won't be releasing a bunch of information on Tommy Douglas. Of course, the brain dead left is going ballistic in their worship of their great icon. I'm surprised they didn't send him to a taxidermist when he pegged off.....the radical left seem to like stuffing their icons for some bizarre reason.
OMG not Murray Dobbin, he's been marinading in his own psychosis for so long I thought he'd be institutionalized.
I do see a perfect match between his malignant loathing of commonsense (AKA conservatism) and Lizzy May's delusional psychopathy. Maybe the two of them can move into that imaginary utopian castle in the pink clouds that Murry started building when he first started channeling Leon Trotski. LOL!!
Did a protest vote once & ended up with bob rae.I have to thank may from ever thinking about doing that again via the grens.
Batshit crazy as the woman is, she at least opposes the HST.
Don't laugh too hard. She'll be a senator within 5 minutes of the Liberals getting back into power...

Nah, our American brethern have enough on their plate trying to deal with Czar Barry the First.
She's harmless enough that we can deal with her. Not like we don't have the experience.
kakola
She opposes the HST just to oppose anything the gov. does.
Scratch the surface, and she loves carbon taxes, and as a watermelon, almost any tax she could get her hands on.
The biggest lie she tells, is that Greens are financial conservatives. Thank goodness she proves over and over that she is justifiably batshit crazy, saving the rest of us the trouble of trying to prove it. She self-destructs everytime she opens that toothy trap
E;lizabeth May exemplifies the typical lefty feminist-fat,ugly and stupid.
Liz is a hoot. Then again I was disappointed when Heddie Fry failed in her LPC leadership bid.
