Proof positive the right-wing can't do comedy.

Yeah, hard to beat the left at comedy when their entire philosophy is one big joke.

However, the consequences of their policies are not so amusing.

I don't know, kids writing about healthcare is pretty funny. When ya' gets caught it's even funnier. Kinda like animal husbandry is women marrying animals. You can't write this stuff, it takes a leader of the world. Now he is such a smooth joke teller..if you have an hour of your life you will never get back to hear 'Three guys walk into a bar.'

proof that mouth can't handle the truth no matter how funny it is !!!!

Paul in calgary

I've been a Beck fan since he signed on at HLN and followed him to FoxNews, but that?

That was just mind-bogglingly annoying.

Great satire. I laughed my ass off, especially given Obama's stunningly stupid spin machine ... he reads 10 letters a night from kids, and most are about healthcare ... sure O ... whatever you say.

Totally, utterly, and completely transparent balderdash dished out by the Chicago machine.

Dear Mitah Pwesident,

I am almost two years old and I live in California with my pahwents. I am the 53rd reincarnation of Hippokrates and I think the Wepubwicans should be fowced to prowide ewyone with................................

I thought it was seriously funny. Especially the bit right at the end.

Seriously pathetic.

Proof positive that the left can't take a joke. So who has no sense of humor?

I liked it -- Glenn makes me laugh.

It is seriously funny.

the grown men in the background giggling through much of it, is the best.

"Mr. President, I am only a twinkle in my daddy's eye, and I am writing to you because ... "

uff... (a good uff) B.Hussien thinks people believe him still?

I'm as conservative as they come, and I like Beck's message.
But the minute I see him, or hear his voice I want to slap the shit out of him.
The guy just bugs me.

I need a nap.

I totally loved Glenn Beck's keynote speech at CPAC.

This vid, which I saw before, not so much.
But comedy is a matter of taste I guess.
I didn't like Borat or Adam Sandler's Water Boy, although I have a number of Sandler DVDs and like some of his work.

Mockery is a useful political tool and I think mocking Obama's banal reading of these hand picked letters is a good thing, just not funny to me.

An animated audio version of a Burroughs cut up.

Note to Americans, if you want to be taken seriously when you want to communicate whats on your mind to Obama and influence policy in a meaningful way, be sure to write your letters using a crayon; including stick people drawings for effect is also highly reccomended.

*Don't forget to address the envolope using crayon.

Given that lefites cannot multi-task----chewing gum and walking-----and believe the "won" actually gets such letters and reads them....and is offended....
Finding this funny is like passing an IQ test....

Maybe that's why the trolls swallowed AGW and still believe in OBOZO....

Funny and certainly a lot more creative than calling him a moron for the next three years,
even though he's turning out to be the King Kong of Morons (KKM); oops, was that raaaaacist?

I thought it was hilarious.

My young child is always talking about health care and politics. /sarc off.

Love Glenn Beck and his humour. At least one day a week he has me laughing so hard there are tears running down my face....

His producer's imitation of Michael Jackson's ghost had me laughing out loud...and the guy acting out Al Gore reading his environmental poem was a winner, too.

The democrats support "partial birth abortion".

That means that as the baby emerges from the canal, the doctor uses an instrument to sever the spine from the brain of the baby.

I think that is blatant MURDER.

The Liberals see it as progress!

People should actually go and check out the c-span clips of the health care summit on youtube. They are long and maybe you can only checkout a part or two but you will actually hear what is really being said and what the points of agreement and disagreement are.

I am a partial biwth abortion..and I beweeve that George Bush's policies put me in 'the trash can that I's in today..

If I had been left to wive, I would have fuwwy subswribed to the leftist agenda and gwown up to be a big boy, and a long term adherent of the democwatic voting bwoc.

May be silly, but absolutely hilarious, as so often is when we get carried away into silliness. He's a damn sight funnier than Steve Martin or the wise guys of the Left.

I laughed out loud!

"Mr. Pwesident, I have elephantitis and it was given to me by the Wepublicans. ... Last night Dick Cheney came into my bedroom and ate my heart and my liver ..."

I like the idea of the colouring books and Dick Cheney's activism: More, sir, please.

'Like the idea of the colouring books.

Scratch the last line in my comment above: redundant.

Good thing there was no video - I hate watching this bozo cry for no reason.

Beck is mocking classic Obama tactics. Remember, Obama is a pathological narcissist. His only agenda is to control you to His Will. He uses three tactics: misinformation (aka lies), emotional manipulation, and accusations of bias if you reject Him.

These letters, which can't be proven or disproven, are classic Obama manipulation tactics. But consider, does a government base its policies on the emotional letters of children?
Does a govt live within the world of fiction or fact?

The recent 'HealthCare summit' clearly showed these strategies of emotional manipulation and an insistence on living within a virtual world of emotional causality. The Democrat sob stories ignored the success stories of American health care and rejected real achievable reforms in health care that won't move the govt into control of one-sixth of the US economy and cost trillions in debt.

So the real agenda of the Obama Health Care is statism. Not health care, for the costs of His plan will reduce the quality of care. The real agenda is to move the govt into control of a massive portion of the US economy and remove it from the control of the people. Emotional stories hide this real agenda. And note how testy Obama was when Republicans tried to insert facts rather than fiction into the debate.

So let me get this straight: for his pre-bedtime reading, the President's letter screeners pick out 10 of the 40,000 letters he receives daily.

Forget for a moment that it's ludicrous for Obama to come to any conclusions based upon these 10 letters.

I suggest that perhaps his advisers are merely concerned for the quality of sleep he will receive, so they bring him the most boring letters to help him drift off peacefully. Health care letters would do that to me.

I think Kate's having a bit of fun here...posting something so moronically lame
and sitting back to see how slavishly her minions toe the party line...
now that's funny.

What's revealing is that these two men with their baby voices are ridiculing the very idea that anyone could ever suffer because of lack of health care.

In this Beck mirrors fellow embittered infantile shock-demagogue-hack Limbaugh who stated:

"I mean, for example, well, what's wrong with using a dead person's teeth? Aren't the Democrats big into recycling? Save the planet? And so what? So if you don't have any teeth, so what? What's applesauce for? Isn't that why they make applesauce?"

Yeah, sure it's a big laugh if someone can't afford to have their own teeth. Laugh, laugh at the poor and unfortunate.

Needless to say such sentiments are completely anti-Christian. Christ said "That which you do for the least among you, you do for Me"

In other news, remember Kate's post the other day about how the new air force logo look like (shudder) the Islamic symbol?

Looks like right-wing kook Frank Gaffney just walked that one back:

"In a post here Wednesday, under the headline "Can This Possibly Be True?," I called attention to a "new" logo being used by the Pentagon's Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the grounds that it bore a disconcerting resemblance to an amalgamation of the Obama campaign's logo and the symbols of Islam, the crescent and a single star. It turns out the answer is "no," it isn't true that the MDA's logo is exactly new or, apparently, that it reflects an Obama-directed redesign.

We have since learned that the logo has been used at the MDA website since at least October 2009. Matters are made more confusing by the fact that the agency continues to use its older shield-like logo for online and other purposes. The contract for a complete rebranding for MDA was let in 2007, during the Bush administration, although much of the work appears to have been done in 2008 in follow-on contracts during the presidential campaign in which the Obama logo was much in evidence.

It has also been observed that - rather than embracing the symbolic crescent and star, they could be interpreted as the targets of the intercepting swoosh in the MDA's latest logo. If so, the 2009 design would presumably be offensive to Islamists, rather than evidence of submission to them.

For these reasons, I am content to have the question posed in the last post be answered in the negative, and I regret any confusion caused by my suggesting otherwise."

Oh golly it doesn't reflect an 'Obama-directed redesign' at all. What *will* we do?

Let's sit around and wait for Kate's retraction, shall we? :)

Obama is just the talking head for a very large group of people who want to take America from the people and put it in the hands of politicians and activists.

Those politicians and activists are the agents of destruction for individual freedom.

Know your enemy.

Quite funny!

Lefties as we see here, have essentially zero sense of humour.

mouth

U appear to ASSume just a little too much

and Phil,

the vid was boring to me, and the comments really didn't interest me, until an idiot came in here to entertain,

Thanx for saving the day!!!

I never, ever miss Glenn Beck's show on Fox News because I learn so much and I get a new prospective on things that I have already read. My Grandad was terrified that the Bolsheviks would in-filter this country. My Grandad was a pioneer in every meaning of the word; he was a rancher/farmer who came to the Cypress Hills with his frontiersman Dad (who had guided the new immigrant Icelanders to Gimli, Man. from Ontario; when he got them to Gimli he hunted for them and taught them how to hunt for themselves, he showed them how to build log houses and how to build fireplaces that would not burn down their houses... - one English speaking 'teenager' - he was 18) and his mom in the summer of 1898. My Grandad hunted, chopped lumber, built houses, broke horses, herded cattle, proped up his neighbours and his family whenever they ran out of ideas of how to survive, he built dams, carried the mail forty miles each way from Maple Creek to the Cypress Hills winter and summer, once a week....Grandad was afraid of only one thing - the Bolsheviks in Russia.

I guess I can trace my own hatred for the Bolsheviks to my Grandad as he used to buy books and magazines that spoke to him. National Geographic once had great journalists and fantastic photography - there was a story about Russia in the 1914 issue - he bought the Western Producer until Douglas took over in Sask., the Western Horseman, Zane Grey, Taylor Caldwell, Lois L'Amour, Grandad knew Charlie Russel and liked his paintings, he knew Charle Dickens' son (RCMP) because Grandma was a third cousin; Grandad didn't have much use for the son but he liked his Dad's stories and he had them all...Grandad read whenever he had time and so did my Grandma. They raised very interesting children who had the same standards: they are good citizens prepared to help their neighbours but willing to fight anyone who tells them what to do or how to think. My Grandad had a Grade 4 education and he invented things to get him and his family through the depression (not to mention many neighbours) without asking the gument for a dime! Did I mention that he took care of his parents and his uncle with dementia and a my aunt who caught encephalitis as a baby in 1939; the fever burned her brain and she was never more than a baby, even though she lived to be eight years old. He also was the first man in Sask. to have a operation to remove a diseased kidney he lived and paid for that operation within one year (he didn't lay around getting his strength back!).

I was reading about freedom before I was four, I never quit and the people who pushed Communism or Communisms pale sister, Socialism were not 'important' people to me; they were 'blocheads' or 'stupider than a bag of hammers' (my Dad and Grandad's terminology). Glen Beck is on the same page, every day, as Dad and Grandad. I feel like I've just spent an hour with one of them.

On Climate change - any fool knows that climate changes, every day, every night, every week, every season, every decade, every century, every millenium and beyond. It pays to be prepared!! Don't count on a warm winter because last winter was warm....the Prime Minister of Canada said the same thing as Glenn Beck and they are the people that Grandad and Dad would have agreed with - people who deal in facts, not fiction; people who prepare to live, not stooping to fret about how to avoid death - at any cost of personal Liberty.

Is it my imagination or does Beck's voice get higher every time the Saudis buy Fox stock?

Jema 54, what a great legacy. Your granddad and dad sound like fantastic people. And, you're clear-eyed because of them. Thanks for sharing that.

Dennis Miller is the funniest guy alive. However ,the left only see the very bottom of his jokes as they fly over their heads.

Thanks batb.

Beck on Oh'Bummer is just too funny.. i see there are some Dems up top of this page, who take offence...... Tough nouggies!!!!!
