Somehow, somewhere, sometime, justice is served.

There's no question Ritter was either blackmailed, bribed, threatened or had some sudden change of political heart.

He resigned from UNSCOM with great fanfare precisely because they were making no progress on Iraq arms inspections because of Saddam's chicanery.

Then, years later, with absolutely no experience or exposure to new information he boldly declared that Iraq had destroyed its WMD shortly after 1991.

Never mind that hundreds of tons of WMD were unaccounted for. Never mind that Iraq did not even possess the facilities necessary to destroy that much WMD. Never mind that Iraq had the burden to prove it had destroyed WMD by allowing unfettered inspections, allowing witnesses to destruction, and by providing destruction residue - none of which they did.

It doesn't surprise me at all that this sleazebag was caught with his hand in some cookie jar. I only hope that when the police raid his home, they find evidence of his treason.
