I've been a big fan of Steve Mc and Ross Mc, since the late 1990s, then, when John A. convinced Steve Mc. to begin climateaudit.org. it became almost a daily lurk.

More to the point, the proponents of this scam are still just plain walking around. I'm not a lawyer, but I have to think that, somewhere along the way, criminal lines were crossed by some or all of these people.

Be it grant skulduggery of the likes we're seeing with Pachauri, deliberate blocking of FOI requests, or otherwise heretofore unknown actions, criminal and/or civil legal proceedings should be the ultimate endgame with these charlatans.

IMO.

I think the AGW theory is now dead in the water both politically and scientifically. People are now looking for face-saving walkaway strategies, but usually with failed paradigms, the death comes slowly through attrition and a loss of interest. There will probably never be a "moment" of paradigm reversal, just a long, slow and irregular decline in interest in man-made global warming until one day (maybe around 2030) people will just forget about it and never bring it up.
