Reminds me of one of those now incorrect jokes about certain persons ... I shall play along and call them "Ruritanians."

When the Ruritanians heard about the Moon landing, they decided they would land on the Sun.

It was Global Warming that killed the Ice Ball.

The earth heated due to AGW emissions and disrupted the cosmic balance by .E1000000001, and that did cause the loss of the comet. The melting of solar system ice is at a record pace soon we will have an Ice Comet Free Century far sooner than anyone predicted... The HORROR!!!

The end is nigh, repent all you carbon sinners the celestial warning has been given as to the fate of the earth! It is next to hurl into its own star if you drive your SUV and eat red meat! Oh evil bringers of the End Of Days I seek to cast you out with a one child world policy!

I hope the ice on the comet didn't cool the sun down too much. If if did Mann will have to really write some exotic FORTRAN lines to "hide this decline".

Hey, this explains why it is so cold outside! The comet cooled Global Warming down a bit.
