i don't think it's fair for geldings to be excluded....there are plenty of male horses that could and should be allowed to run in this so called 'match'....the whole idea is not very inclusive at all....it's steering VERY close to equine sexism if you ask me....i really thought we'd outgrown that sort of thing....i'm warning you there are going to be a lot of geldings with long faces if you persist in this chauvinism..
well....harrumph...yes...xly i saw that very race....but he certainly didn't seem very happy about the fact he'd won did he....looked like he needed a pick me up he did...as though he'd like to confide in someone...his face looked...depressed somehow...
the point being it IS called the sport of kings do you not ?....NOT the sport of queens see....and there's a good reason for that i bet..
