Dwaine Lingenfelter: Not Losing Enough!

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

Dwain Lingenfelter, Jan.12th - "I want to be very clear that I'm referring to (Wall) and his team of cabinet -- but mainly the premier because he's the leader -- as a loser, but no one else."

RCMP, Jan.19th - .... have charged a man who volunteered in the provincial NDP leadership campaign of Dwain Lingenfelter in connection with irregular memberships sold by the campaign.

Truth be told Wall and his bunch of inept cronies are some of the biggest losers this province has had in government. Not counting his hero Devine. No one but a loser can take a surplus and turn it into a billion dollar deficit in the course of two years. True fiscal mismanagement and incompetence.

ACORN in Saskatchewan? Say it isn't so...

Front page in the Leader Post, and page A3 in the Star Phoenix.

T: "Truth be told Wall and his bunch of inept cronies are some of the biggest losers this province....." Blah blah blah..

No T the true should be told, the policies of the former fascist NDP government had tied the hands of the very province to reach its potential and kept the very hardworking folks of this province under a false and precarious sense of security. We are finally breaking through barriers of democratic policy oppression. At least they have not reverted to robbing the crown utility coffers to cover their behinds. As this had been done in the past on numerous occasions by the now forgotten NDP. The only reminder of the oppression is the articles as posted by Kate.

Anyone found guilty of usurping our democracy through illegal means should be sentenced in the same range as those found guilty of treason.

It IS that important.

The NDP has their own version of ACORN here in Saskatchewan. Some are just so upset that their march to the Marxist utopia has been stalled.

I guess T forgot about the whole recession thing.

Now of course if the NDP were in charge the deficit would be double or quadruple the current deficit.

I guess for the rest of us, it's one of those "I'll take the lesser of two evils!" things.

I hope you SK residents do the right thing. At least 60% of my revenue is from the Swift Current area. Please, don't mess it up with another NDP government. Re-elect Wall, and I might just move my whole operation over there.

The Shaunavon oil zone is the most promising source of revenue for the near future. It's going to be a challenge, directionally drilling under all those damned windmills.

Drill dp, drill!!!

Re: The trial of Ernest Morin.

For his sake, I hope Grant Devine isn't on the jury!

TC

Nope it's the Black Panthers.

It was all going so well too. We were assured it was no problem. An overanxious worker. Someone that had their name stolen did not share those sentiments. The RCMP took it from there.

It's all about the numbers dp, we need you here! The NDP rely on a large percentage of the population working for public sector unions. This is why the NDP were so focused on NOT growing Saskatchewan's population. It's about preserving the ratio, and it appears the magic number is 1 million people. As our population grows, the percentage of the aforementioned public unions shrinks as does NDP support. In my opinion it is quite sinister. As a former Albertan I'm still baffled that the NDP are even considered a legitimate option.

In Saskatchewan: what's good for the province is bad for the NDP.

I moved to Saskatchewan in the early 2000's and I was amazed how few people born in the 1970's lived here. I think it's called the "doughnut hole". For example, I work in an office with 400+ people, and for the most part, staff consists of people 45+ and 30-. I doubt you'd notice this unless you're in you 30's like myself. Anyways, we hear now on the radio that many of the ex-pats who tend to be gen x'ers are moving back to Saskatchewan.

All of that said, Saskatchewan is great; except, for being stuck in the pop-culture abyss. I know Kathy S. knows what I'm talking about. I suspect most of the commenter’s that didn't have a clue about the "Hot Rod" clip yesterday were Saskatchewan lifers.

Ya, right there Dahwayne. We'll see who the loser is after the next provincial election.

Our resident troll is one of the few still wandering the province in a state of disbelief over what occurred on November 7, 2007. Of course that was the day that Saskatchewanians finally and decisively turfed the NDP and its policies of despair and negativity.

Unfortunately for the few NDP diehards left (no pun intended), mainly union bigshots and those unable to think for themselves, the concept of life without nanny government is beyond comprehension. Those remaining sore losers had better get used to it. Saskatchewan is no longer a "have-not" province and the residents are thoroughly enjoying the new atmosphere.

All that the NDP have left to offer is grumbling, sniping and Dwayne Lingenfelter, the king of hypocrisy.

biffjr.

The election you speak of in November 7, 2007 was NOT a referendum on the NDP nor their policies. It was simply a case of the NDP running a poor campaign, and the failure of the federal NDP to intervene soon enough.

Sheesh, you really don't get it, do you?

I think the trial regarding the enthusiastic volunteer will be interesting with many facts yet to be revealed and lots of questions that need answers and hopefully the blame falls where it belongs. However to state that the deficit would be double or quadruple what is now if the NDP were in power is quite a stretch. While I voted for the SaskParty it is quite disconcerting to see how they spent like drunken sailors and only took two years to accumulate a deficit that took Grant Devine two terms to ring up. Do not try to blame the economy for typical Sask. Conservative fiscal policy, they all seem to think that money just seems to show up. While the NDP have many problems they still are the ones that the people of Saskatchewan turn to when the books need to be balanced after another tory experiment. I expect that this is going to happen again and Wall has no one to blame but himself.

You are right in that they 'all' think the money just shows up. I certainly wouldn't call the Sask party conservatives. I voted for them ever since 2000 when I moved back here, but that's only because I hate the ndp. The Sask party are not nearly conservative enough for me but as the saying goes, they're the least of the evils. I've about had enough of all politicians but feel it is my duty to vote, so I hold my nose and do it. JMO

The Saskatchewan Mafia

wafer

you dun lost your mind!

T, I shall say this in simple terms: cheating and lying are wrong.
Moving on.

"I want to be very clear that I'm referring to (Wall) and his team of cabinet"

His team of cabinet?! What, is English a second language for this doofus?

Hey DP:

Dwayne has been going around like mad buying up land in the SouthWest -- particularly in the Shaunavon area. He can't even find enough people to manage his land for him and we can't figure out why he's still buying more.

If what you say is true, it not only explains his actions but he stands to make a fortune on land leases alone when the pumpjacks start going in.

Martin- Maybe he has insider information. That sort of scheme rarely works out.

I've seen quite a bit of advertising for SK farmland, this last year. I think some investors believe agriculture is about to boom, like the 70s. I'd imagine some of the farmers here might have an opinion on the wisdom of this.

"NDP...irregular memberships?"

Sounds like a diarrhea issue to me.

"ACORN in Saskatchewan"

They got Pine tree's there?

At one time the CCF, before the merged with the Labour Party to form the NDP, were so corrupt that they were referred to as the "Saskatchewan Mafia". It seems that Lingenfelter wants to take the NDP back to the days of insider bond trading, shake downs and crooked grants to supporters.
And for the trolls: don't forget that some of Grant Devine's MLAs stole $845000.

No smoking gun here.

Dwayne should be putting everything in a blind trust

DP and Martin:

Remember that when Lingenfelter ran away from Sask for greener pastures in Alberta, he was a VP at Nexen. He probably knows a few things about that area through his oil industry connections.
