It is hard to imagine that a member of such a sanguine group could feel dismay at having failed to question the "settled" science. So bring on the list, and review the credentials, but expect neither shame nor remorse from the perpetrators.

Now, if someone came up with some data on professors, and teachers, we might accomplish something.

I still remember the relief I felt, when I found out not all boobs looked like the ones in National Geographic. Porn wasn't all that common when I was in puberty.

dp, even Playboy was around decades ago. You didn't have to rely just on Natl Geo to look at pulchritude! When I was a teen, I had my stash of Playboys under the mattress ... until my Mom found them one time when making up my bed & deep-six'ed 'em. :-)

But I was stubborn-got that from my English & Scottish ancestry-and tried a different tack. I cut out some very nice lingerie ads from my Mom's ladies' mags and posted them on my bedroom closet door. When that got the immediate negative reaction I anticipated, I protested "But they're only photos from Mom's magazines!" Didn't work but I got a point across. :-)
