Nothing like the grim visage of Nancy Pelosi to wreck your afternoon. I think she's going to be more aggressive, more confrontational and working ever harder to push the socialist agenda through.
One thing overlooked in the commentary to date (and I am glad you brought up ACORN) was the role of Andrew Breitbart, Hannah Giles and James O'Keeefe in defanging ACORN last fall.
I think it is safe to assume that the ACORN/SEIU thugs would have been out in full force if the spotlight hadn't been put on them. We may well have seen a different outcome.

Acorn's not dead, they just went to hell to regroup. What was taken as a sure thing changed too fast for Acorn to mobilize, they didn't see the truck coming.
As soon as the Republicans get control of the Senate they should shut ACORN down. And they should do it on Obama's watch just to rub salt in the wound.
Can anyone find Nancy's voting record in California before she was Leader and if possible in local/State Office? I think it would be a interesting read and should be brought to light. One California resident described her record but it was too long ago to remember details. His remarks could not appear here, I assure you.
ACORN isn't dead. **stains of their nature don't go away. They just try again by other means to achieve their goal.
And better be mindful up here in Canada about Community Organizers International. Rathke. He has appeared to speak in Canada. A Toronto area university if I recall correctly.
I am pleased to see that Mr. Brown appealed to voters to overturn (what my friend refers to as) the undeserved sense of entitlement the toffee-nosed, useless Kennedys and Mrs. Coakley (her own worst enemy). I will be further gratified to see the equally useless elitist Pelosi disappear. I am still fried that Al Franken, who choked a man in public, was elected into office.
Had to share.

Yes the spotlight does Hi-light a target....they can't operate in the shadows... The SEIU membership lists home addresses & family members...come out and play fools
ACORN operates on the fringes of the simple thugs.. They will wipeout each other for some blow….
"think it is safe to assume that the ACORN/SEIU thugs would have been out in full force if the spotlight hadn't been put on them. We may well have seen a different outcome."
Prettiest pic of the Hag of CA-8 I have ever seen. Sure, speaker Bligh keeps yammering on that "it's not dead yet!", but the crew is going to set her adrift at sea if she doesn't stop soon. Maybe they should just start sneaking some prozac into her water...
I heard that during the four-way primary race for the Democratic nomination someone criticized Coakley for being too cautious. This was denounced as being sexist (?), so after that no one could weed her out for being an uninspiring campaigner. Political correctness comes back to bite you.
One of the stories I read was how I believe it was Teaparty org tried to buy some local air time in Mass. It was pretty much sold out and the price had risen as the quantity dried up. They checked the National rates and saw they were not that much higher. When they checked further they found no one was using National airtime. So they bought as much as they could afford and lock up some of the time. I think a lot of money may have rolled to Brown. Sorry, don't have a link I can't remember where I read it.
At this point I don't think they even want health care passed. If they ram it through, November is going to be a disaster for the Democrats.
Obama's mandate was to be the first black president, to un-Bush the country, and to fix the economy. He went too far down the socialist path in a centre-right country. This is the blow-back.
A Republican. In Ted Kennedy's seat. Would be like having Monty Solberg winning Mount Royal.
I haven't been this happy since election night in 1994! I stayed up all night watching every Demon Rat from Tom Foley down to the local dog catcher lose.
The hideous hag of the Hill finally in defeat. Of her last chance at total power. She looks like a Hippie who lost her spiff. Makes my heart sing to see them crushed politically.
Now the long haul to repair the damage from the elitists.

an excellent sobering read

Oh, Nancy will fight to the last moderate! She's not worried about her seat - you couldn't blast that hag out of CA-08 with a nuke.
And hopefully Pelosi dies with it.
Simply cannot stand the sight of that arrogant self-righteous woman.
Tons of angst in the comments:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/1/21/828015/-Young-Voters-Were-No-Shows-in-Massachusetts
Seems some of the good citizens over there want to blame young voters for being lazy.
Their problem was that the "Kennedy" seat had been so long taken for granted that Massachusetts Dems didn't have a Dead Voter Campaign Team in place.
Pelosi has just signalled her intent to run in the Helen Thomas beauty pageant...

Somebody budded Pelossi as "the wicked witch from the west" but the RINO appeasers stomped on that.
That said, Pelossi is certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer......a fact overlooked by the MSM....

Great point!
And in other good news, Air America files for bankruptcy.
Never listened to it but if their content was as delusional as their press release announcing the bankruptcy is.....

On the other side of the spectrum, Limbaugh et al continue to grow.
I like the handle some commenter used: Bela Pelosi.

Ya know, looking at that picture I think I was a bit harsh on the former Soviet Union's use of mental hospitals for political purposes.
I think Glen Beck deserves a hand shake and nice steak dinner.

It's a good thing Brown won his seat in the senate to help in the fight against obamacare.
The U.S. really needs a guy like Peter Schiff in the senate to help get the economy back on track though. He is running for Connecticut.

Monty Solberg winning Mount Royal.
Hmmm, that has a nice ring to it.

It's going to be a great November this year too.
