GO RIDERS!

Goooooo Stamps!!!!!!!

Awful outing by the Lions today, and the team should be embarrassed. Montreal is definitely the right team heading to the big show.

No offense intended to Stamps fans, but a Montreal - Saskatchewan final would be the better game.

IMO.

Colin, no offense...as in the BC Lions?

Hey just wondering. Who has the truck all loaded up with manure to dump on the front yard of the Rider who just might make a game losing mistake this year? ;^P

Yes, the BC Lions, they were an embarrassment today.

Why would I be offended?

They sure took a beating didn't they Colin?
52 or 53 to 18.

Would be interesting to see the Raiders vs Montreal for the Grey Cup.

GO STAMPS GO !!!

PAUL in calgary

It's all just a popularity contest. Everyone knows the Ticats are the best team. We just don't get no respect.

This is the break out!!!!!

Okay, now I can say it: Go Riders!

Yesterday, I found myself explaining how exciting it is to be in Regina for a game. I was saying how great the fans are and how loud it can be. When I turned on the Montreal game, in the 4th quarter, I was stunned how quiet it was.

Go Riders!!

3 minute warning.

As a Stamps fan, Congratulations to the Riders.

The better team won today

Alberta will do anything to revive the exodus of Saskatchewaners to Alberta.

Even if it is only temporary for Grey Cup Week.

congrats Riders.

good luck next week

from a Stamps fan

Go Flames , Go Roughnecks!

Okay Alberta get ready to be infested by those Saskatchewan fans. We are going to have to do border
checks to keep Saskatchewan license plates out of our province. On second thought bring your green...not your Rider outfits,... your money. We are now the poor cousins.

Congrats Saskatchewan Roughriders!

oh crap, the worst fans in the world are coming to town

It'll be a Gang Green invasion! Yeah!

Make sure you stretch and warm up properly before rioting and burning cars and such.
You wouldn't want to pull a muscle or hurt yourself.

Do you think maybe Lewis, Reynolds, Copeland, Brownnoser, Anderson, DeAngelis, Burris et al will shut up for awhile now? Not too likely, but I really wonder why Huffnagle puts up with this crap.
Want class? See Ken Miller, Durant, Davis and the whole Rider organization.

I am a loyal and proud stamps fan !!

Having said that, the score in no way reflect's how poorly the stamps played i mean it wasn't even hard for the riders, we gave it to em .

Witch bring's up this question ...why ? why make all those long beautiful passes and wonderful rushes and all of that if your just going to throw it all away at this point in the year it is such a waste .

All credit to the riders they came out ready to fight ...calgary just wanted to be beaten they wanted to throw the towel in . Very sad but like i say to all the bomber and hamilton fans

THERE IS ALWAY'S NEXT YEAR LOL !!!

... as another Stamps fan, congratulations to the Riders..

I hope for the best against the Al's, but they did appear to be scoring at will today against B.C.
It took about 5 minutes after the game ended, for me to see the first vehicle drive by with a large green orb glowing on top... I don't have any idea what that's about.

another telling bit about this Rider/Stamp rivalry, the sight of many on both teams giving congratulatory hugs/back slaps and obviously giving some measure of respect to each other after the game... in a day and age when pro team theatrics don't seem to extend to this, that's excellent to see, it really does makes both teams bigger. I think the Riders are "almost" going to feel like they're playing another home game,.. and they're pretty good at that. :)

BOOO! Worst fans to police, talk to coherently and enjoy in MY stadium. Barbarians!
Did I mention,my tickets are for sale.
Go Montreal!

Congrats, Rider Nation. Have a great time in Calgary, and enjoy the Alberta hospitality!!

All I can say is spank those Al's!!!!

How much Bec?

So that means that if I listen to the radio as I drive to S'toon there is a chance of a repeat of 2007 where I changed radio stations just in time to hear an almost incoherent caller screaming over and over, "THE RIDERS WON THE CUP".

Go Stamps Go...golfing!

With a hat tip to Maxwell Smart 'and loving it'.

But go Flames.

Cherie, the only reason it was quiet in the 4th quarter was because it was such a blowout. They had a decibel meter (or whatever the proper terminology is) on the sideline and it went up to 105db in the third quarter. I don't think the Alouette fans need to apologize to anyone for the amount of noise they produced.

Kicking Henry's a$$ is just about as much fun as getting it...............OK - maybe not quite - but close.

I hope the Al's take us for granted - I really hope they do.

Can't wait for the Big Game!!!!!!

They just got sold...wow.

Oh great, now I'm gonna have to worry about dodging all the *other* Sask fans driving on the streets of Calgary next weekend :P

that was a kinda cheesey move...

Good game Riders, you deserved the win. Good luck against the Als, i'll be cheering for ya. Keep your eye on the game and not the party.

yes the riders did good but Montreal will kick there ass out of Calgary on Sunday sweet dreams sask

Calgary fan

Message to you Part-Time Stump Fans:
Thanks for the 7 of you that showed up in Saskatchewan today.......now start cleaning up MacMahon for the BIG GREEN MACHINE can come in and steamroll the Al's.........BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The 'Riders' played an excellent game. Good luck in the final against the 'Als'. Keep the 'Grey Cup' in the west. Go 'Riders'.

Winning the West is sweet, but the real prize remains. Five years from now, few will remember who finished first in the West or even who won the Western Final. Keep in mind (with all due respect to Calgary fans) that the Stampeders ain't the Alouettes and next Sunday's battle will be much more difficult.

I'm not being pessimistic but I still have nightmares about 1976 when I was a much younger man, prematurely celebrating a Grey Cup win with my drunken buddies when .... well, you all know what happened.
