If you have been reading us for any length of time, you know that we used to make fun of “Dubya” nearly every day…parroting the same comedic bits we heard in our Democrat circles, where Bush is still, to this day, lampooned as a chimp, a bumbling idiot, and a poor, clumsy public speaker.

Even when they are trying to sound contrite ... they are are a day late and dollar short.
We MISS Dubya the say .... because the whole world revolves around their feelings.
Can you imagine the cries of racism if the web site bushorchimp.com was changed to obamaorchimp.com? I still think Obama looks like Alfred E Newman.
like the Big Yellow Taxi - you don't what you got ... until it's gone .. eh?
There's no need to insult Alfred E.Newman!
Alfred E. Newman? Isn't he the guy that makes that excellent salad dressing?
I want George and Ronnie back! NOW!
I must confess that with Obama first came to power I truly believed that he would come around. Was I wrong. I doubt he'll get 35% of the vote in 2012.
I used to get attacked at parties and other events when I would say that GWB would be judged to be a very good President after his term in office, I just did not expect the shift this soon.
Hey let's not forget that we aren't innocent in this respect. Pres Bush was demonized on this side of the border pretty savagely (remember Carolyn Parrish). I hope we, Canadians realize what a good man Pres Bush was and how he protected not only the US but us as well.

"I still think Obama looks like Alfred E Newman."
I think that's because he radiates the "what me worry" philosophy. In Alfred's case he was a harmless optimist; with obozo it's malignant narcissism. He will be correct and perfect - judgment to the contrary is incorrect and worthless.
Well it looks like there is some dissention among the ranks of the Black Jesus.
A sign up over at Rodger Schlong's blog tells it all:
We're not racist! We hate his white half too!
A burning drive to correct injustice and what I suspect might be mild obsessive-compulsive disorder force me to point out that our girl batb beat Robert W. to it on this one: See the November 12th Reader Tips thread, on Nov. 11th @8:21PM
speaking of things presidential, today in history:
Nov 13 1986
Ronald Reagan tells television audience: "We have not -- I repeat, did not -- trade weapons or anything else for hostages, nor will we ever."
what a g^$%@m bald-faced lie.
they ALL do it.
Dennis Miller is apoplectic this morning, discussing this: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/14/us/14terror.html
He's convinced that Obama is deliberately poking in the eye every American on the right side of the aisle. Ten times so just a week after Fort Hood.
Imagine if a suicide bomber does something in NYC during the trial.
re: Barack Neumann what, me worry?:

a.k.a. Alfred E Obama
He not only looks like Alfred E. Newman, but he seems to have adopted the "What? Me worry?" approach to his job.
What? Me Socialist?
Reading the link makes me think that the world today is mostly filled with kids that never matured into adults.
OMMAG you more or less nailed it on the head.
As much as I would love to Alfred E Obama taken out of power ASAP, we should pray he makes it to 2012 or this complete evil idiot will be replaced by the drooling retard Joe Biden.
If Joe doesn't make it we will then have third in line for the throne, Nancy Pelosi whose name needs no degrading adjectives since her name itself is synonymous with stupidity and evil.
Future insults to any truly despicable woman could be "hey don't be such a Pelosi!"
We will always be grateful for the compassion and emotions which GWB displayed during those days after 911. The resolve that rallied the country around the flag and the American dream...But...let's not forget the economic damage which this president continued and started with the economy. Clinton killed Spiegel/Glass opening the door to all this economic kaos, Bush had the opportunity to close the door and instead brought in TARP and Homeland Security. For these two things alone, Bush will forever be judged harshly and rightly.
Obama is guilty of basically piling on...with a super tanker...but this man has no soul and emotions. He is only interested in having parties at the White House, golfing and perfecting every line in every teleprompter speech. He is double minded in almost everything he does. He is unable to make any good decisions on his own, that is why he shows no emotions, other than those written into the script.
He should have gone to Texas and held the hands of the shooing victims and thanked them for their service to the country and had a 1000 cameras capturing every last second. He couldn't because he is not thankful and the cameras would have picked up the eyes of the shark...dark and unemotional.
Bush will seem like a teddy bear after this administration is finish. We like teddy bears!!!
Owebama is not the real president of the USA. He will go down in history a being the first 'puppet president'. He doesn't make decisions. He doesn't write speeches. He doesn't make policy. He doesn't set direction. He does what his handlers, the backroom boys, tell him to do. He does it because the backroom boys know how to appeal to his vanity.
Personally I am not a great fan of W. At the time he was first brought forward as candidate I thought to myself I wish the Americans could pick a better slate of candidates. However the times make or break the president and in W's case it made him. I Owe's case it will break him.
Speaking of evil children ...
If you haven't heard this guy speak about Obama ...
Alan Keyes last February
I never thought George W. Bush was a perfect president. There are many things about his policies I disagreed with, and I thought the invasion of Iraq was personally motivated.
But I always respected him as a decent and intelligent man.
As an example, even reporters who had written many highly critical - even mocking - articles of Bush were treated with politeness and respect by the White House staff, a feat that seems beyond the political goons who are now entrenched there.
So it takes eight years for facts to be absorbed into some people's heads.
"I must confess that with Obama first came to power I truly believed that he would come around. Was I wrong. I doubt he'll get 35% of the vote in 2012."

Please explain to me what exactly lead you to believe what you said here. It was clear from the start that BO was woefully unqualified, that he was a radical/racist, that he was a liar (saying he wouldn't raise taxes, while at the same time touting Capn'trade), and that he was sympathetic to terrorists(Ayers). All of this before he was elected!
Please enlighten us as to how someone like yourself(and other intelligent people) could be so thoroughly duped. You should have known who he was before you voted for him. Correct? Like BO says, “This is a teachable moment”.
Dennis Green could have been talking about Barak Obama and the Democrats when he said: “They are who we thought they were. If you want to crown them, then crown their a$$; but they are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!”
Indiana:
I think Obama was under qualified for the job. He may yet grow into it, although God knows how much damage he'll do before he does. He's also too far to the left for the good of any country.
But calling him a liar, a racist, and sympathetic to terrorists is all part of the same radical partisan bullshit that had people calling Bush a Nazi.
As much as I would love to Alfred E Obama taken out of power ASAP, we should pray he makes it to 2012 or this complete evil idiot will be replaced by the drooling retard Joe Biden.

Well if we can make it to fourth in line, we get Hillary, and ex Prez Bill as part of the bargain.
rabbit
I don't think so. Hopefully you don't expect me to do the research for you, it's all readily available.
1- Under qualified- BO had NEVER until his new job been in any executive position. Checkmate
2- Liar- Barak Obama said clearly during the primaries that he would talk to Iran "without conditions" then at a later time said that "I never said that". Checkmate
3- racist - In Barak Obama's autobiography he says ""The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbours any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person..." -- Barack Obama" checkmate; Don't forget J.Wright
4- sympathetic to terrorist- Bill Ayers is a close friend of BO and he is an admitted terrorist. checkmate
Okay rabbit, I don't want to be the same as those with BDS so kindly explain to me where I've gone wrong. These examples are off the top of my head, and required no research. I have absolutely no problem judging someone on their own spoken and written words. Please enlighten me where I've gone wrong so I can retract my statement.
Oh yeah, I could have sworn I heard BO say that Afghanistan is a "war of necessity" that we "must win" and I can't help but think ...
Not so Rabbit. I believe in studying my enemies and the way they think so I read Obunghole's book entitled the 'audacity of hope'. His whole career is predicated on being the token negro, he sees all issues in terms of race first, and I think he is a liar that lies to others as casually as he lies to himself.
There is a world of difference between Dubya and Obutthole - the first being that Brock is basically and affirmative action empty suit.
I grow weary of everyone calling everyone else a liar and a racist. Is that what political discourse has come down to these days?
If someone's views are misguided then point it out with facts and arguments. That might do some good.
Fine. Read his book.
Perhaps some folks are missing the reason for the invasion of Iraq. The idea was to concentrate the bad guys in Iraq and not have them all over the world. By invading Iraq, Al-Queda and the Taliban, concentrated most of their efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their respective "1st string planners" were planning and executing operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Imagine if these planners were free to plan and execute operations in every Western country what the carnage would have been. The London, Madrid and Bali disasters would have been multiplied many times over. We should consider ourselves fortunate that Pres Bush did what he did...concentrate the enemy in two places so that we could concentrate our forces and resources in order to destroy them. There's an article in the American Thinker about this.

Glen Beck of Fox does more research work for us every day as to what is going on in the USA.
Too bad Canada is so tied to the USA as we are going to have the same problems as they are experiencing if we are not real careful.
Meanwhile, in Ontario and Quebec, the industrial heartland is now bitching about Obama Protectionism.
Too bad they bought into the media's O cheerleading.
They we're warned.

I think you been answered by a very good rebuttal 'rabbit'.
Firstly...Kudos to W. and Laura for their compassion.
Secondly...How quickly we forget and have that burning desire to heroize the colourful villains of our past.
Thirdly...Anyone can make a mistake, even the great engineer Vitruvius trivialized Remembrance Day by forgetting about it and posting a classical piece rather than something more suitable. He clued in at some point and changed the topic, but the damage was already done.
"Too bad they bought into the media's O cheerleading."
"They are who we thought they were!"
Lets be honest here; America was in denial last year and chose to absolve themselves of reality by having a giant "look how great we are" party. Look how great we are! We gotta a black President and Jay-Z at the sickest inauguration eva! (which it was)
And of course Tee-Dot in their never ending aspirations to be like NY just wanted a piece of the action; a piece of the ignorant bliss; just a few more months of denying reality, the reality that they too have made very poor choices in the last few decades and the piper wants to be paid. Hopefully by the time reality hits, nobody will remember that John McCain spoke highly of Canada, and that a McCain administration would be a "friend to Canada".
America and Canada would have been far better off with Jay-Z as President and Barak Obama as the entertainment. JMO

Thanks for your post. It's nice to see that someone else gets it. I believe it was a US General named Sanchez who explained to the nedia, just a couple of months after Saddam's statue fell, that Bin Laden would have no choice but to confront the US in Iraq. That is of course precisely what happened. Jihadis by the thousands came into Iraq to have a go at the Americans and ended up dying for their trouble.
Of course, the US media knew all this. They reported it at the time. It was only after the fighting got heavy and the Dems decided to jump ship that it all went down the memory hole and the Iraq-has-nothing-to-do-with-terrorism line began being spewed.
Underwood:
I suspect lots of people are racists and liars, but I refrain from calling them that. Why? Because it does no good and considerable damage. Far more effective is to point out the facts, and let people form their own opinions.
At any rate, everyone calls everyone a racist and liar these days. It's replaced "Hello, how's it going" as a greeting.
Go visit the Huffington Post. You'll read lots of comments accusing conservatives of being racists and liars, with (I'm sure) every bit of the sincerity and intensity found on conservative blogs. It's getting really old really quick.
For the record, I posted In Flanders Fields, and only that, on Remembrance Day.
It's too bad, that Pres Bush didn't continue eastward from Iraq and westward from Afghanistan, destroy Iran's Theocratic Gov't and emplace a democratic gov't. This event would have at least two strategic initiatives, cutting the head off the militant Islamic Theocracy (and putting an end to Iran's quest for an atomic bomb) and showing the USA's resolve to other wannabe "sh!t-disturbers" around the world.

"they ALL do it" - curious george.
Whatever. I will go with the guy who doesn't believe in his soul that my taxes aren't high enough every time.
Vitruvius,
What day did you post that peice, I think it was Franz List? If memory serves...the one in Amaj that had the modulation to Dmaj.
So 'rabbit' I guess I am a racist but I am not a fence straddler.
Don't need to read the Huffington Post. 'Kate' is my editor and the commentators on this blog are the links. So far in IMHO, the editor and commentators on this blog site and other very good blog sites have been blowing out the MSM candles.
Been reading 'Kates' SDA site for 3+ years.
Thanks 'Kate'.
Kate
Thanks for the link. Great read and perfect sentiments on the character of the last President. Digging down in that site, I like the new moniker that has been adopted for Obama ... "Dr Utopia" ... from the 40's cartoon clip. Here's the link: http://hillbuzz.org/faqs/
Hope it catches on.
rabbit said: "I grow weary of everyone calling everyone else a liar and a racist."
Heard that. But, what do you do when the guy -is- a racist and a liar? Call him a cab? (ba-dump tsh!)
Underwood:
It's instructive to read the Huffington Post, not because of the views within it (which can get pretty insufferable), but because it's interesting to see how each side of the left/right schism brings identical sincerity and outrage, and spout identical insults at the other side. For every Underwood there's an anti-Underwood.
I'm not suggesting both sides are equally correct. But each side's feelings and behaviour towards the other side are carbon copies of each other, and that brings perspective.
The Phantom:
Just so long as you don't call him late for dinner.
I think the best way to call someone a liar is to present facts that make it blinding clear that he or she is a liar. It's simply more effective than name calling. I would only call someone a racist if they had were overtly so (e.g., the Grand Wizard of the KKK). Such epithets poison the well to any sane discussion.

Rabbit spins the "GATES" as what???? ....other than knee-jerk racism by his wet dream.
Read "Audacity of Hope" and ignore the racism....which can't be attributed to OBOZO's white half.
Rabbit is the typical victim of a con man----despite evidence to the contrary still respects the guy who lied to him and cheated him.
...unless Rabbit is a kindred soul to OBOZO---hence a waste of skin.
Barack Obama - The Incredible Shrinking President.
