If you're 20 and a Liberal/socialist, you have no knowledge of how the real world operates; if you're 40 and still a Liberal/socialist, you haven't learned a damned thing in 20 years.

Ideologically my polar opposite, but when I read some of her other entries, it was nice to see that she avoids the knee jerk groupings that are common to many liberals. Nothing worse than a blind follower of any stripe.

So, the SP are doing just fine? A couple of days ago, everything was coming up roses. Now we are facing a deficit...this after blowing two billion left behind by those awful socialists. And what of the 750 million they got by selling off SaskFerco? Where'd that go?

And of course, there's the fiscal stabilization fund, which was just an election slush fund that should be gone, according to the SP in opposition. Now that's how they plan to plug the 2 billion-dollar hole in their "balanced" budget. Not to mention the Crown profits they are also planning to grab...sometimes those awful Crown Corporations do have some value, right Mr. Gantefoer?

These barons of Bay Street bragged about keeping the boom going (at least they admitted the NDP had created a boom)but somehow couldn't predict a downturn in potash sales when the major customers were all in serious recession. No wonder Wall went bankrupt in both of his private business ventures.
