  11. Tried to post this info earlier, but because the headline had profanity, it would not pass the filters. Glenn Beck DVR is renamed some nasty sh!t for calbevision viewers. What is up with that. if it was conservatives trying to do this there would be a major outcry. Lefties bug the shit out of me. They just insult, but have no real argumentss to uphold their position. Did you know that all references to the first lesson plans for the Obama speech to schools have been scrubed from the internet. If you try to acess a site that has the original plans you are met with a warning of a virus and not allowed to enter the site. Google an yahoo as well as all the web site search engines do the same. I thought it ficken wierd that when I hit on sites that had the original lesson plans I was advised by google that this was an unsafe site and contained a virus even though my virus checker confirmed otherwise. This occured no less than 23 times. Even though the doc site had the original lesson plans they changed it after 12:00 noon today and replaced thier doc with the new lesson plan The original lesson plans have been effectively scrubbed from the net. WTF is up with that.

Previously I posted under another name, but someone else was also posting under this name so I changed my nic. Now I get a “previewing your comment box” which I never got b4. I guess this is kinda good. If Kate was watching IP’s she would realize I have been posting for over a year under another name. Like I said, I changed my nic cause it was too generic and others were using it. I post know under the name on2u or 2cents to avoicd the generic confusion. Hoever, I an understand SDA’s caution seeing there are some legal issues involved.

  17. Hmmm. I did not realize anyone else was posting under 2cents. I have been posting on this blog for at least 18 months. The reason I switched from posing as No-One to 2cents is someone else was posting under that name (no-one). I had no idea their had been previous comments from a 2cents during my 18 months of reading this blog. Sorry to say I do not remember your posts. Oh well…will post as my second name on2u. I have been alternating between cents and on2u – from No-One who would have thought this would be an issue … MEH.. will post as on2u – like that handle better anyway. I am interested in your previous posts and look forward to your future posts as 2cents.
    In all honesty I can say I have never seen anyone post as 2cents previous to August. If anyone can verify this please do. Please post the comments that 2cents made b4 September or August 2009. Thank you.

    Personally I do not really care, nor should others if someone uses the same Nick. Especially when they are rather generic like the one I posted under. What does bother me is complaints. It is not like someone owns the name. I have changed my Nick twice since finding out others used the same one. Personally, I like the fact that you can post on this site without registering. I hope you do not change that Kate, Please let me know – you have my email – if I have stepped on any toes and I will gladly change my Nick to avoid confusion.

Couldn’t turn on the TV without NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc… screaming about it. Couldn’t walk by a newsstand without seeing big front-page headlines about the guy.

  23. The original lesson plans for the presidents speech to schools has been scrubbed from the INTERNET. If you try to open a site that has the info you are given a virus waning or an official site is unavailable – internet connection problem. Contol of the internet is already here.

    You heard me right, boys and girls. The network that gave us Uncle Miltie and Ma Perkins has apparently been secretly sending subliminal messages endorsing Marxist doctrine since it was formed in 1926. This would make perfect sense to me. Every time I watched the Rockford Files I had an unexplainable desire to read Das Kapital. But seriously, folks. Twenty years after the fall of the Soviet Union, red baiting not only seems silly, it’s also kind of nuts. It’s not-at-all surprising that an organization would give this idiot a forum (after all, he’s on FOX Noise). What’s really stunning is the fact that his ratings are relatively high and that so many Americans take his word as gospel.
    All kidding aside, half-witted ideologues are a dime a dozen. What separates Glenn Beck from his peers is the fact that he is doing some serious damage to the country he professes to love so much. For all of the comparisons to the Nazis he likes to make with regard to Liberals, Beck’s program has much in common with Adolf Hitler’s 1923 screed, Mein Kampf. Eighty-six years ago, Hitler attempted to arouse the anger of his fellow Germans by spouting half truths and utter nonsense – exactly what Glenn Beck is doing in 2009. So much of the insane dialogue that has been spewed forth at these Town Hall meetings across the country in recent weeks might have been lifted straight from a transcript of any of Beck’s programs.
    Beck and his twisted ilk have done the seemingly impossible. They have deflected the blame for America’s current economic distress toward Barack Obama. An incredible feat when you take into consideration the fact that the President is one of the few people in government today whose guilt in the matter is almost nil. They have also let loose with a vengeance the very worst angels of the American nature. Opening this Pandora’s box was relatively easy. Closing it might prove to be a bit of a problem.

Glenn has uncovered some very important stories even before the big O took office. I think we should take a page from his book and start paying very close attention to what Acorn is doing in Canada, with Iggy Pop and his gang of thieves threatening us with yet another federal election. Acorn is what helped get O in the office, will they be doing the same thing with Iggy? Makes one go hmmmmmm

  32. I wrote about the Czars a couple ofdays ago. They are an excutive that can operate outside the scrutiny of congress. But they cannot operate outside the scrutiny ofthe media – if it chooses to look. The new format of TV ‘news / op-ed that beck and oreilly and (sort of) olberman are can really do damage to the Czar system as beck has clearly done.
    Czars may actually be unconstitutional with this scandal and possibly others to follow we could see a challenge coming sooner than later. Roosevelt had his comeuppance whe n he tried to stack the supreme court perhaps BO will have his over this attempt to create an excutive outside the law.
    Today may be a very important milestone in American history…

    That’s it, no in depth analysis or further explanation. It’s all Beck’s fault, Van Jones was not that bad a guy said a Republican.

  37. As for the MSM ignoring what obviously was a very big story before the resignation and is now THE big story – it is absolutely a watershed moment.
    First it was BO attacking RUSH by name – a radio talk show host who the elites wear it as a badge of honour to say that they do not listen to his show.
    Now it is a FOX op-eder – a guy and a network who the MSM and the elite that controls it have said are illegitimate muckrakers of no substance – that has put a bomb through the HOPE and CHANGE carrier deck. The resignation is an event that will cost the MSM dearly in credibility with millions of their, up until now, loyal audience.
    It reminds me of the time when the national enquirer broke the Gary Hart scandal. Before then the MSM utterly igored
    the NE as a source of credible news, since then, they too – as an act of pure self-preservation – have started to dumpster dive for personal history dope on public figures.
    Perhaps now they – for the same self-preservation motive – will start to dig into the foul, corrupt world of the BO machine.

  42. Regarding the use of pseudonyms when posting, I do believe that one should be willing to put one’s name to anything one writes. When I first began commenting, I did just that. Then, I googled myself and discovered that my name had been linked to opinions that were not mine, expressed sometimes in language I would never use. This seems to be a shortcoming of webcrawlers. When indexing SDA in particular, Google associates your name with the comment that comes after your post rather than with your own post. In one egregious instance, it linked my name with the text of the moronic article upon which the comment thread was based. I now use my initials.

  44. A word of cautionto those who think that BO has now chance of saving his presidency:
    if BO sticks to the government option in his speech this Wednesday then he is , I think, indeed doomed as many moderates in the dem party will abandon him. Some might even begin to openly oppose him ( thinking of their own candidacy in 2012 no doubt).
    But, and I think it more likely, he may abandon the governement plan and go to “plan b” (google fred barnes plan B for more details) where he will propose insuance companies be forced to insure all risks while at the same time making it mandatory for all Americans to buy coverage (mass already has something like this). If he does this he will be hailed as the Great concilIator – Mitt Romney will likely support the idea as well as other GOP members and BO will zoom back up in the polls. Plan b is a disaster for America but it could be a political lifesaver for BO.

  45. Be careful about considering this a strategic ‘win’. I’ll suggest it isn’t. It’s a tactical manoeuvre.
    Obama had to remove Jones from the spotlight in preparation for his ‘Talk to the Children’ on Tuesday and above all, for his unprecedented speech to Congress on Wednesday. But that’s it; Jones is removed from the spotlight. Obama will move him quietly to another role.
    And, Obama and Gang will move against FOX, against Beck, against the Internet and against bloggers.
    What should be done? More Beck, Internet, Blog questions about Obama’s Czars. Obama is setting up a Third Administration, outside the constraints of the Constitution and outside of the control of the People – and this ought to be the focus. Not simply individual Czars as in the case of Jones, but the whole system that Obama has set up – it’s undemocratic.

    As I understand what has happened, there was to be a czar position called the ‘internet fairness czar’ and now we have ‘diversity czar’ Mark Lloyd laying out his thoughts on ,what I call, an attack on radio and the net.
    After Jones departure, of the the bag of nuts left, (Holdren-Sunstein-Lloyd), Lloyd represents the immediate problem. Not that the administration’s position would change if any of the czars left but at least if enough of them exit perhaps the MSM might start to notice.
