The North Koreans will soon be taking lessons from the Obamassiah Whitehouse on how to venerate the Gentle Leader and create a personal cult of power.
I suggest that this latest Obama-debacle (and he does seem to fall into one each week, doesn’t he) is based on the fact that the Democratic Party has split into three parts.
This is due to the fact that they nominated for President someone whom they (the BackRoom Gang, BRG) wanted only as a charismatic salesman, while they retained control of policies and programs. Right there, you have a split. It might, just might, work, if the Salesman wasn’t a narcissist, with an insatiable need for praise and adulation. But..Obama is very much the narcissist, and this has thrown a wrench into the Democratic Plan.
It is clear that, as Krauthammer said, Obama has no executive or administrative experience; he’s never so much as ‘run a candy store’. It is becoming clearer that he has no ability to be an administrator.
He is intellectually shallow and ill-read. He is, furthermore, uninterested in such data-gathering and analysis. He has relied for many years, on manipulating people by reverting to a ‘teen-age charm’ strategy. So, he’ll do his smiles, his grin, his winks, his teen-age jokes..to get his way. That probably worked with his grandmother but it’s not advisable in executive decision-making.
And, of course, he’s relied on race and political correctness to silence criticism of his superficiality and slick style of ‘business’ – whether voting only ‘present’ in the Senate, or taking the role of Editor of the Harvard Law Review yet leaving all the work to others, or, telling ‘community activists’ what to do.
All of this could be brushed aside, if Obama didn’t also need and require that constant adulation and limelight praise. If all he were, was a slick saleman, beholden to the Greater Minds of the BRG – this same cabal could readily ignore their own popularity and simply get their policies through via The Salesman.
But – the time and energy needed to satisfy Obama’s narcissism, and his constant off-the-cuff verbal errors when he is ‘off the leash’ are making life very difficult for the Democrats. Obama has spent more time in the public eye since his election, with prime time television speeches, constant carefully scripted Town Halls and other public meetings – all scripted – than any president. His gaffes of ignorance and bias are so frequent that the BRG are constantly having to issue ‘what he really meant’ statements.
This has alerted the public to the fact that Obama has psychological needs beyond his office, and, that the Democrats are trying to push through an infrastructural change to the US – which is unacceptable to the majority…and trying to push through these changes without debate, without full awareness of the bills (unread).
The blogs and FOX news have informed people of these issues – and Americans are fighting back.
This wasn’t The Way It Was Supposed To Be. The plan was obviously to have Obama as the unstoppable teen-age Salesman, slithering through a socialist infrastructure on America. The problem of Obama’s narcissism and his inability to both think, answer questions..and deal with criticism, wasn’t part of the game plan.
The Democrats have been fighting back with unacceptable means, informing Americans that they are ‘unAmerican’ if they disagree with Obama and other witch-hunt strategies.
This latest ‘Feed Obama’s Narcissism’ by setting him up as The Great Father of our children, has had to be withdrawn. Now, there’ll be yet another speech..this time to Congress, an event almost as rare as hen’s teeth.
And there’s the Third Set in the Democratic Party, the elected members of Congress who, unlike the Czars and many members of the BRG, are up for election – they are worried about being thrown out in the next election.
So- as a strategy of power – the Democrat plan hasn’t been working very well.
Canada as a rule lags behind the USA in trends and established acceptable legal practices by ten years.
Not so in the case of childhood indoctrination.
Canadian school children have for at least two generations have been indoctrinated by leftist school administrations, teachers unions, beginning with leftist school boards, all across this land.
Obama (the community organizer) is now in a position as POTUS to implement the indoctrination of K to 6th graders across the land to catch-up with Canada.
And the slobbering MSM in the US is complicit in that process, except of course for the FOX Cable network.
Now that Obama and his BRG have been exposed for what they are (even the average distracted American is now clued in) they cannot do anything without major scrutiny. They are under many microscopes.
We all know that ANY initiative from those people is going to be directly for the purpose of socializing America … so … they appear to now be pretty lame duck as far as new initiatives go because the majority of Americans don’t want Socialism. How I envy that as a Canadian.
All the Dems can do now is wait out the year for the 2010 wipe out and they can blame their impotency on Fox News, Right Wing Radio and an ungrateful America.
I hope they make a movie of this Barnham and Baily Government. They can call it “America’s African Moment”.

All children are ‘socialized’, which is to say, they learn ‘what the society believes in’. What they must gradually learn is ‘critical thinking’ which means to acquire the skills to critique an opinion, insist on facts, insist on logical analysis rather than just dogma.
What is/was reprehensible about Obama’s moving himself into the classroom was that it focused on his narcissistic needs for adulation. It didn’t focus on the needs of the children to learn for their own sake (only to do what the President wants them to do); or to learn for the fascination of knowledge, or to learn for the sake of their future role in their nation.
The really quite despicable focus of Obama’s intrusion was his request that they learn..for his sake.

In the run up to the election a slim majority of dem establishment had HRC as their favoured candidate. The higher up (or further back) into the backroom you went the more they favoured Senator Hillary. When you look at where the big state machine vote went it largely went to HRC.
What got BO the nomination was pandering to the far left fanaftics and playing up the fad of voting for a black POTUS -everyone wanted the T-shirt. And what sealed it for him was Ted kennedys near-death approval of BO and saying that he was a scion of the Camelot politic.
The guys now in BOs backroom are not exactly down the line dem establishment types – they are radicals who work outside the traditional government loop. They would rather not fill actual government posts in departments where there is a longstanding pecking order and there are lots of dem party regulars who have been waiting for years for these plum jobs. And thus there are still thousands of them left unfilled. Rather they have appointed czars for these departments. These czars never have to get congressional approval and many are extremely radical withFBI files on them several inches thick.
The dem establishment – your BRG – is only now coming to realize what is happening and those that understand are aghast.

Past presidents (including Bush) did not include assignments teachers were to give students after his visit that included writing a letter to themselves on how they could support him – promises of what they were going to do – that is indoctrination.

Why liberals believe the crap they believe. A lot of it is a mystery, because it is based in ‘feelings’ rather than in logic and reason.
It was Aristotle who dragged the Western world into understanding that there are absolutes and reality and reason and those were the tools by which mankind could successfully govern himself.
That has been proven every time there was a govenrment who embraced freedom, individuality and enterprise. So we know that conservative or objectives thinking works very well.
We also know that nearly every Liberal idea is funded with conservative dollars and fails as soon as the money runs out or until the stats are so undeniable that even those at the trough running these programs lose interest.
In short it appears that Liberalism is a mental disorder since it does want to continually repeat failed strategies over and over at huge human cost.
