I have a severly handicapped g/son and he has a great life. But, the other day a tenent in his bldg phoned me and said, you are just lucky Hitler lost the war, and I lost family members in that war, because if he had won, you g/son would have been killed long ago. He hated handicapped people.
The caller was trying to get my g/son and his caregivers evicted but he picked on the wrong person. He and his wife left in the middle of the night without notice or fwding address. I found out from someone that they moved to Ont.

I don’t think that there is much in the way of defense against deliberate libel. The defense has to show that the defendant made those statements in the certainty that they were true, and as the legal letter said, any examination of the facts would show that the accusations were not true.
I suggest, again, that you read the lawyers’ letter.

If McCain had say chosen Kay Bailey Hutchinson or some other woman with half a clue…he might have been a threat. In general, picking a Alaskan politician to run in a national campaign is extemely sketchy. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to speend a little more time in Alaska.
