As the rest of Canada celebrates the nation’s 142nd birthday today, a Vice President of the Canadian Arab Federation has labelled the country a “genocidal state” and the described its national day as “F**k Canada Day.”
Omar Shaban, who lives in Vancouver, BC made these comments on his Facebook page, declaring, “It’s finally Canada Day … Couldn’t be more ashamed to be Canadian.”
Yesterday, the Facebook status of the CAF vice president welcomed July 1, 2009 with the slogan, “Happy Genocide Day Canada.”
Is there any more of our money we can take back from these ingrates? McGuinty gave them 20 G’s to “fight racism” last year, The City of Toronto also forked over, if I recall correctly, an additional 10 g’s.
It’s a shame on a day we celebrate our country and freedoms it provides, someone of this caliber is even acknowledged. His group wants us to be more accepting of the people he represents, meanwhile he drives a deeper wedge between, what an idiot. Everyone enjoy Canada Day! Multiculturalism was a sop given to the millions of Canadians who were not of English or French roots when Trudeau wanted Canadians to accept official Bilingualism. How could anybody with an IQ that exceeded their shoe size deny that there were millions of Canadians of different language background, that contributed as much or more to the building of Canada than just French and English speaking Canadians. Trudeau didn’t dare slight those millions of Canadians and he tried to appease them by declaring the importance of multiculturalism so they would accept official bilingualism, but he couldn’t bring himself to be fair to these people and put their contributions on a lower level in not recognizing their language but trying to equate the French language with the English language which was pure nonsense.
He even crossed himself up by contending that he was recognizing the founding languages ( when was Canada founded -I thought it was an evolving thing) but even if you wanted to go back to earliest days how could he not recognize and ignore the Aboriginals who were definitely founding people by any measurement. Face the facts this was strictly political to garner votes in Quebec and the hell with what is best for Canada and what is the truth on the building of Canada.
