A petition directed at Keith "Bailout" Olbermann;

While General Electric, the parent-company of your MSNBC network, was negotiating a $126 billion taxpayer-funded bailout, you signed a new contract raising your salary from $4 million to $7.5 million annually. You have used your show as a platform to call for the resignation of corporate executives accepting excessive bonuses on the backs of taxpayers who are picking up the tab for these atrocious bailouts, yet you yourself have no problem engaging in the same "class economic rape" that you access them of.

Please heed you own advice and stop accepting taxpayer money to subsidize your nightly diatribes. Resign or return the balance of your excessive raise to the U.S. Treasury.

* What's good enough for AIG is good enough for Keith Olbermann .

Olbie is getting a pay raise? He should take a cut in pay down to $500,000 to show his solidarity with the rest of the proletariat. Besides, a week's worth of his shows can't pull the share that any *one* of FNC's shows pull on a nightly basis.

Waiting for a Radical Leftist to admit his/her hypocrisy is akin to waiting for Martians to land here on Earth. Either event *may* occur one day but I wouldn't waste any time waiting for it.

GE is ready for Carbon Trading.. or not!

The GE Board has conflict of Interest.. YES!

GE stock-holders need a Forensic Audit to find who got all the SKIM dollars...GE finance operates like a hedge fund... and they made trillions before the meltdown. GE stock was $58 when neutron Jack retired and the gangsters took over. I have a “very” close friend whose wife worked for GE finance in the good years… she has held on to her GE stock all the way down.. dumber than a hammer but I love her.

"Waiting for a Radical Leftist to admit his/her hypocrisy is akin to waiting for Martians to land here on Earth. Either event *may* occur one day but I wouldn't waste any time waiting for it."

This is why every "problem" in a leftist's mind has an immediately- needed stopgap solution, one of many that will take decades of "work" to solve. They generally haven't a clue what to do, but incessantly talking about things will secure their funding and social manipulation via the ever-accommodating, crisis-seeking MSM.

Wait a minute..........

They pay him $7.5 million a year to be a dismal failure at what he does?

Oh yeah, leftoid.

My bad.

GE-MSMBC..."Guys, lets reward FAILURE (with taxpayer money..)!"

I can't even watch football on NBC because OberDAWGturd is on.

GE-MSNBC..."Let's put a partisan hack on our football coverage and kill that revenue stream as well...(will get the money back from the Ogabe Administration)"

Do you think Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff can do better job at securing our economic future than Prime Minister Stephen Harper?

http://www.vancouversun.com/opinion/index.html

MO is deserving of the dough IF his employers think he is. That he is a shameless hippocrite has been demonstrated long before this. His career trajectory is at or near its peak. The way it ends will be fun to watch I suspect.

The income control is for them other people. Get with the program.
The fine people on the cocktail circuit that don’t actually produce anything, using far too much of the available oxygen and contribute vast quantities of carbon compounds, they have decided that them other people that produce the wealth of the society don’t measure up to the pay scale.
This thinking is like essence of living of socialists, fascists and other assorted totalitarian ‘ists.
It must be some kind of metal flaw to complain of others having, doing and such, while they themselves behave exactly the way they oppose for others. Hypocrisy comes to mind.
It does really look as those people are out of touch with daily life.

Of course that should be mental.

Thanks wilson; 0911hrs voted on poll. PMSH was up to 90.91%. Seems like this poll likes what PMSH is doing about economy.

Gord:

You've got it.

I have no problem with Olberman getting $7.5 million a year. If that's what his employer figures he's worth, fill yer boots.

Good for whoever started the petition, though, to expose his hypocrisy. I'm guessing Olberman will say he only called for the limiting of CEO's salary to $250,000 and that Obama did not place any limits on the hired help.

We all know GE is getting bailout money because they will be the Chosen One's chosen corporation to manufacture windmills and ‘create a green economy.'

It's much like GM (Government Motors), the Chosen One's chosen corporation to ‘create a green car.' Bondholders, individuals who plunked down $26 billion of their hard-earned money, were given 10% of common stock. The UAW, who had $10 billion in bonds, were given 39% of GM.

Not only that, but some reports earlier this week suggested the UAW has been given 55% of Chrysler. We'll have to see how the shakedown proceeds today.

Anyway, I tried watching Olberman once and found him to be totally repulsive, which is the role he's being paid to play, I suppose.

High income leftists are often tighter than the bark on a tree when it comes to their own dough. Trudeau was typically infamous in that regard. The two together must be an outward expression of some quirk in early brain development.

about 45 minutes ago Chryco filled for chap 11.

If the above rumor that the UAW will own 55% and the official news that Fiat will be asked to take 20% (at what price?) and does indeed take the 20%, how many people will never darken that companies door on principle alone? (i certainly will never do so and I have owned and enjoyed Chryco products for 12 years now.)

GM is now going to be owned 38% by the UAW and similar market sentiments will exist.

These two companies are doomed. Good riddance IMO.

Why would 'Warren Buffet' the richest man in America wold buy 'golden shares in GE' if it wasn't going to benefit his company. He did this in 'October of 2008'. Heard this as a news blip on the first 'tarp' when BHO & JM suspended their campaigns to vote on bailout. Did anybody else catch this.

These two companies are doomed. Good riddance IMO.

I feel for all the people who put food on their table, directly or indirectly, for their work in the auto industry. But, management and labour so collectively screwed themselves over the years, I'm afraid you're right Gord.

I see Chrysler disappearing altogether. GM and Ford will survive, although only as pale shadows of their former selves.

Honda man myself, have been for 12 years. Been buying Japanese in general for about the last 20 years. A bad experience in the 80s with a Ford product turned me off of North American built vehicles. I've been nothing but happy with the quality of the imports I've driven since then.

Gord:

In my lifetime, I have owned three GM vehicles and a Dodge Caravan.

The Acura I drive now was purchased at a Chrysler dealership.

Like you, I will not be darkening the doors of either GM or Chrysler dealerships as long as the UAW runs it.

It kinda tells you that this is the Democratic Party's payback for all the support Big Labour has given them over the years.

And, if these two entities that will be producing the cars of the future get into the glue, guess what? The taxpayers will pick up the tab again.

Any time I hear the word ‘vision' coming out of any politician's mouth, my immediate reaction is to hang on tighter to my wallet. Iggy has started talking about ‘vision.'

The US people better wake up to the fact, real quick, that they have their version of Jack Layton running their country.

I'm thinking they are slowly starting to realize they've been hoodwinked, so it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Was a GMer for a long, long time. If this deal goes through - never again. Would now consider Ford, though.

lev

I agree. I'd like to add my bit.

The aforementioned people don't respect the so-called workers or their trades/professions. In their minds, it is an injustice that the lesser people make so much more money than they do. Envy is the key! Teachers for example constantly tell us how important their job is (it's about the children) yet they make little and hockey players make millions; "It's not fair". Supply and demand never factors into the equation; just their perception of their value.

It's not about a mental disorder, it's about social justice. This is one reason you see so many women supporting socialist parties. These parties will argue that women in low demand and less skilled jobs make money comparable to male dominated high paying industries because “it’s not fair”, never considering the market.

The truth of the matter is this: We don’t NEED social workers(mostly women), teachers(mostly women), social advocates(mostly women) and any other number of female dominated professions. These are all great to have, but not necessities. We NEED engineers, iron workers, welders, plumbers ect (mostly men).

To put to rest the inevitable “you’re a chauvinist” remark; I’ll just add that nurses(mostly women) are in high demand and make excellent money. No double standard here.

Sanctimoney is non-refundable

keith dobermann wants his nice juicy bone but like a real doggy dobermann when the fight gets tough they run.

You just learned about this???????

Pay raise or no pay raise the Olberman's of the world are nothing but overpaid shills for the idiot elites that run the networks.

It's all a big con and the people who buy what they're being told the suckers.

NOW does that preponderance of leftard targetted media product make sense?
