Hello how can I listen to your show in America?
Scary times ahead in Obamaland?
So Bush gets accused of faking when he wasn't and BO clearly does and no one in the MSM notices:

WoW! Apparently this is what the French chattering classes has been talking about for over a week now!
http://fdesouche.com/articles/33981
Check out this HD video of a French White boy minding his own business, getting robbed and then having the living crap kicked out of him by 4 "diversity" types on a Paris Public Transit Bus.
According to what I've read,ALL E.U.(European Union) countries have BANNED the hosting of the video itself, and it can only be viewed on Russian websites!
The video was originally "leaked" to the internet by an angry and disgusted Paris Transit Cop who is now suspended and facing criminal charges for showing what is happening on Public Transit in France!
Mr. G, thank you for that video. I also found this news story in English about the incident.
There are so many disturbing things about the suppression of the video.
As for the punks themselves, I'm reminded of something I heard on Dennis Miller's radio program today. Apparent the Somalia Pirates HQ issued a press release that said: "We're not pirates, we're Muslims." Let that sink in for awhile.
"Federal agency warns of radicals on right"
As some may have already guessed, 'right wing radicals' is a more expansive category than the term suggests.
"World will not meet 2C warming target, climate change experts agree"
The first paragraph contains a prediction that none of us will be alive to verify. I have to admit, these people learn quickly when it comes to huckstering. Some of them, as we already know, are as quick with the 'could' as the allegorical encyclopedia salesman.
Dambisa Moyo is an African woman, born in Zambia. I heard her interviewed today, discussing her book. She argues, through logic and facts, that less aid to Africa, not more, is the only way that continent will ever be able to move forward.
Wouldn't it be nice if more Western leaders listened to her! But instead, it's easier for them to feel pity for Africans.
The soft prejudice of low expectations.
From Globe commissar John Ibbitson, I defy you to find a more Stalinist lede in any paper, anywhere:
"Barack Obama delivered yesterday a major speech on his economic plan so masterful that it silences reasoned dissent on his administration's progress thus far."

I've seen enough. Western Civilization has failed. It's past tense, history. As much as I enjoy the material comforts of the west it may be time to make an exit; I'm embarrassed to be associated with this civilization.
That video of the white guy being beaten up by a bunch of hooligans on the French bus is absolutely disgusting. Even more disgusting is its being suppressed.
'Interesting that the only individuals that seemed to come to the victim's assistance were women, who were no match for the four or five thugs beating the guy up.
Then, at the end, the driver of the bus who's, apparently, on a phone getting assistance, LEAVES THE FRONT DOOR OF THE BUS OPEN SO ONE OF THE THUGS WHO'S OUTSIDE THE BUS POPS BACK ON TO TAKE A FEW LAST SHOTS AT THE WHITE MAN, does nothing other than take a few ineffectual swats at the attacker, staying seated, not even bothering to stand up.
This is vile. Why didn't the bus stop IMMEDIATELY, once this unprovoked attack began? Why did most of the people on the bus stay put and do nothing? Why was it only women who got up and tried to do something?
Where are the REAL MEN, anymore? 'Seems they've all been neutered. What's the antidote: more broccoli and spinach?
Similar to the threat to our oil sands, and hard on the heels of news that the new Australian defence White Paper will focus on mass combat against Communist Chinese aggression:
(PDF warning) David A. Anderson and Richard Mogg, Is There a Real Threat to Australia’s National Security Posed by Sovereign Wealth Funds?
The leader of SWF investment in Australia is China. The Australian government has been concerned that the Chinese Government is gaining too much influence over resource industry operations in Australia. On 4 July 2008, the Australian Treasurer stated that since he took the position in November 2007, he had approved AU$30 billion in Chinese Government investment in Australia, at a rate of approval of one application every nine days. Chinese investment in Australia has grown from AU$3.7 billion in 2006, to AU$10 billion in 2007, and for 2008 is already in excess of AU$30 billion. This gives the Chinese Government five percent of all foreign investment in Australia (including both government and non-government foreign investment). Its investment interests are overwhelmingly in the energy and resource sectors...
(Via SWJ) Michael M. Phillips, U.S. Takes Afghan Strategy to Villages
The deepening U.S. involvement in the Afghan war is forcing villagers to answer a dangerous question: Whose side are you on?
The Afghan government and U.S. military have kicked off an ambitious project to build local opposition to the Taliban, reminiscent of a successful American effort to win over Sunnis in Iraq's once-turbulent Anbar province. For the elders of the village of Zayawalat, a safe haven for insurgents conducting attacks into Kabul, it's time to make the call on whether to join. So far, they have balked...
(Via SWJ; NYT warning) Dexter Filkins, In Recruiting an Afghan Militia, U.S. Faces a Test
The ambitious American plan to arm local militias in villages across the country was coming down to a single moment.
The American officers sat on one side of a long wooden table; a group of Afghan elders on the other. The pilot program was up and running, but the area’s big enclave of Pashtuns — the ethnic group most closely identified with the Taliban — had not sent any volunteers. The Pashtuns were worried about Taliban reprisals...
The elders, in their turbans and beards, stared blankly at the Americans across the table...
Today, 6 AM
Turned on TV in bedroom. Switched to CNN (Fox is extra on cable, CRTC does not want sheeple Canucks to watch it).
Kirin and John AM show.
John presents portion of Obama's teleprompter recital (The same he's been regurgitating for weeks): "I see a glimmer of hope in the economy but tough times are still ahead"
Kirin laughing: "Many will take the streets for a tea party protest on today's April 15 tax day"
Immediately followed by:
John looking serious: " A new government release states that right wing extremism might be on the rise in the country"
John AGAIN presents portion of Obama's teleprompter recital (The same he's been regurgitating for weeks): "I see a glimmer of hope in the economy but tough times are still ahead"
Later during the show:(After important stuff like the pirate "crisis" and Bo the WH dog):
"Many states and municipalities are now seriously considering applying new taxes to cover their budgets to stay afloat. Our money expert is here today to explain"
Money expert: "It's simple, in order to make ends meet they need to bring in more revenue or CUT BUDGETS AND SERVICES"
Immediately followed by: (NO NOT THE TEA PARTY TAX REVOLT WHICH WOULD OF BEEN AN INTELLIGENT AND RELEVANT FOLLOW UP)
A 3 minute segment of the Obama's new dog BO.
John AGAIN presents portion of Obama's teleprompter recital (The same he's been regurgitating for weeks): "I see a glimmer of hope in the economy but tough times are still ahead"
Basically they are spinning the tax revolt this way:
People are complaining about taxes when Obama is set to reduce taxes...
They completely skip the "big government out of control, printing cash and turning the population to Government subserviance and dependance" part of the equation that Glenn Beck and others are attmpting to give meaning to the movement. It's not the taxes, it's the mammoth government out of control that's the issue. It is also non partisan. Bush was no better but Obama is even worse.

CNN along with MSNBC are literally the direct voice from the White House and the O administration.
This to say that they are now preparing (Through CNN anyway) the population for the possibility of at a minimum decriminalizing marihuana for starters or an extreme but unlikely immediat
legalisation of all drugs.
Since Hillary Clinton declared that the US is partly to blame for the Mexican drug cartels and escalating violence, CNN has been increasingly having pro legalisation advocates, including Ron Paul, this AM who says that drugs should all be made legal because the war is futile and creates 1000 fold more social misery than the few lives it pretends to want to save by keeping it illegal.
RON PAUL IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
If Obama would just take on one mandate and make it his top number one priority this is the one. He has my full support.
Problems domestic (Street gangs, murder, clogged and costly justice system etc...) and international (Talibans in Afghanistan, South American drug cartels, Mexico's collapse etc...) would all but dissapear. Literaly.
New sin taxes could then be applied to go towards R&D on studying dependancy in an effort to genetically modify or create synthetic, non addictive equvalents. Also much needed cash for health care in the short term.
The most important 21st century world initiative in my book is to deal with the ever escalating recreational drug demand which is prevalent proportionaly with each nation's population wealth. China and India's demand for illegal substances are on the rise as their middle class grows. This means this world problem will increase and the untaxed underground will get even more powerful.
Illegal drugs are an industry. It would kill thousands upon thousands of law inforcement jobs if they were to be legal. Huge government tax savings which could be redirected in more pressing issues.
It would take a lot of courage for the world most powerful man (The US Prez) to make such a move. His life would surely be in extreme danger: That's how powerful the underworld AND GOVERNMENT COUNTER APPARATUS are currently.
The US, which is the richest thus biggest consumer is the voice the rest of the world is awaiting to take this initiative which would most likely be parallelly followed by the rest of the free world as a joint initiative. No other trading nation on earth dares to being afraid of US trade sanctions in the meantime.
I suspect, because the US is free falling towards bankrupcy will not be able to keep up the fight any longer will turn towards eventual legalisation.
Again, CNN seems to be preparing the grounds.
Outstanding Tuesday editorial in the Wall Street Journal on Obama's decision at the G-20 conference to increase by eight times foreign aid (we're talking billions) through the International Monetary Fund without having Congressional approval:
"Mr. Obama has overruled Congress and blessed an SDR increase (special drawing rights)- not twice the existing number (as asked by the IMF in the past), but eight times."
And at the end of the editorial: "The upshot for U.S. taxpayers is that neither the $40 billion-plus in new SDR's nor the $100 billion for the NAB (New Arrangements to Borrow) will get much democratic scrutiny. Yet they amount to a massive expansion in U.S. foreign aid. We can see why the G-20 applauded. But this is the opposite of the 'transparency' this Administration has promised, and someone on Capital Hill should blow the whistle".
I find it hilarious that lefties are purportedly scared about "right-wing extremism". What they're talking about, in their veiled way, is assassination. I think anyone would be insane to assassinate President Obama. Aside from the obvious, that is murder being reprehensible, I give you 3 words that would scare just about anyone from doing such a thing:
President Joe Biden.

Forgive me Sister Kate, for I have sinned :-(
This morning I happened to tune into CBC Radio just in time to hear an audio clip from some Somali Rapper who was saying that the pirates ar looked at by the Canadian Somalis as a "volunteer" coast guard. This coast guard is doing nothing more than protect their waters from over fishing and foreigners dumping nuclear waste in their waters. I was going to dismiss this goofball and of course CBC but then over at Hot Air's site they link to an audio from Rev Al Sharpton's radio show in which he states basically the same thing. WTF???
I have come to the conclusion that no matter what happens, there is some bat sh*t crazy with a conspiracy theory and more than enough sheeple to follow along.

"We’re sick of war: a Taleban leader risks his life to point out a new route to peace
Facing another bloody summer of fighting in Helmand province, the Taleban commander uttered words that could cost him his life. “We all want peace. We want to put down our guns,” he said quietly.
A powerfully built man with a flowing beard and a disarmingly soft voice, Commander Mansoor is — according to checks with Western and Afghan sources — a mid-level Taleban commander from southern Helmand, part of the bloody insurgency fighting against US and British troops in Afghanistan.
At a meeting with The Times arranged by tribal intermediaries, however, he painted a picture of war weariness and of local communities desperate to find a way to escape a war that is seemingly without end.
As the conflict enters its eighth summer Nato is hoping that it can exploit such popular disillusion. Mullah Mansoor (not his real name), however, is simply looking for a way out. “Local people do not like the Taleban or the Western forces, they even don’t like us local Taleban” he conceded. “They say to us, ‘if you want to go to Paradise fight in the desert, fight in the mountains but don’t fight in my house’. My wish is just to have peace and security in my area.”"

OTTAWA — Ottawa has a new option on the table for helping local TV stations make it through the recession: buy more government ads.
The idea, which is under discussion at the cabinet's powerful committee on priorities and planning, is seen as a way to replace private advertising revenue that has fled since the onset of the financial crisis, a source told The Globe and Mail.
“In the short term, the most efficient way to get money out to broadcasters might be through advertising, because that's where the initial loss was,” said the source.
“That's where things have gone.”
Although a good number of MPs and cabinet ministers support help for the industry, the question of how best to deliver it is the subject of significant discussion. The government has talked about shelling out between $150-million and $75-million this year and $75-million next year in an effort to get money into the hands of the broadcasters quickly. However, some MPs are concerned that funnelling money directly to the broadcasters would not do much to prevent cuts. At least the government could benefit from the ads.
CanWest, CTVglobemedia and Quebecor have been lobbying the government for help as some of them consider closing or selling stations.

.....Broken RCMP needs overhaul
March 28th, 2009 · 9 Comments
(Calgary Herald) - When William Elliott was appointed RCMP commissioner in 2007, the challenges ahead were monumental. It fell to Elliott, a career civil servant, to rebuild the tattered remains of our once-proud national police force, and restore public trust in an institution that had badly fallen into disrepute. The 24,000-member force was “horribly broken,” according to an independent review at the time.
Less than two years later, the force is even worse off, and Elliott has failed to deliver. He needs to step aside –or be fired–so someone more effective and trustworthy can again try to restore accountability, transparency and integrity to our damaged Mounties.
Elliott has proven he’s as much out of touch as was his predecessor, Giuliano Zaccardelli. Canadians are rightly outraged by the persistent culture of arrogance, overzealous policing and coverups that have for too long been the norm......."
Shameful shenanigans of the RCMP
By PAUL RUTHERFORD
Since the Robert Dziekanski Taser episode at Vancouver airport and the subsequent Braidwood inquiry into his death at the hands of RCMP officers, the public's faith and trust in our national police force has been severely tested.
It's going to take years for the men and women wearing the famous red serge to earn back Canadians' respect.
Now we learn this once-respected Canadian institution is costing taxpayers bundles in expensive lawsuits filed by both civilians and its own rank and file. According to Sun Media, the federal government's 2007 public accounts file reveals the RCMP paid out nearly $24 million in a wide variety of lawsuits.
Like any police force, the RCMP attracts complaints that are frivolous and silly enough to chuckle over. Let's face it, there's a group of greedy citizens out there always wanting to cash in on errors in judgment by law enforcers.
In this day and age of suing everybody and their dog, it makes some sense that there's many of these. But it's no joke that taxpayers are on the hook for this outrageous tab. It's making the RCMP look like a costly three-ring circus.
Many of the successful suits involve allegations of Mountie misdeeds involving excessive force, wrongful arrest and negligence. There's also a slew of them involving injury or damages from motor vehicle crashes with RCMP cruisers.
It begs the question: Who the heck is minding the RCMP store these days?
Whoever it is, they are fumbling the ball in keeping this institution above board and accountable to Canadians.
Anyone dismissing these lawsuits as a cost of the RCMP doing business should wake up. This list of shenanigans is way too long and too costly.
And just like the Dziekanski case, it brings dishonour not honour to the name RCMP.
Sun Media needed to wait two years to get this "public" information and in some cases, the amount of taxpayers' money paid out was not disclosed.
Unacceptable considering our expectations of openness, accountability and ethics from our national police service.
....“Keep them out,” Harper aide Ray Novak shouted at the RCMP security detail as journalists approached Dona Cadman.

Insp. Bill Dingwall "told the [APEC] inquiry the Mounties never tried to hide or restrict demonstrators to limit any political embarrassment ... The positioning of protest banners was not a security issue, yet in one of his many e-mails, Dingwall discussed options for removing them from a university building" (Newsworld Online, 7 September 1999). Dingwall and other RCMP officers also denied taking orders from the Prime Minister's staff.
...."According to an RCMP source, audio tapes of police radio transmissions at APEC were punctuated with 'Jean Carle wants this' and 'Jean Carle wants that.' The tapes have gone missing, and on Monday Mr. Carle admitted shredding most of his APEC memos, too" (National Post, 28 August 1999).....

American Enterprise Institute
Bradley Lecture, Monday, 13 April 2009
The "Reagan Revolution," as its most fervent proponents called it, explored the potential for, and discovered the limits of, conservative reform of modern government. While Reagan enjoyed many political successes and made enduring changes to some areas of policy, he also failed or fell short in several of his chief aims. Steven F. Hayward will survey the unity of Reagan's statecraft in foreign and domestic policy and point to the lessons of Reagan's entire record that are relevant for American politics today.

Most people in most places at most times don't want war, even in supposedly backward places like Afghanistan. The problem is, power-hungry thugs who adhere to an ideology of violence keep giving it to them anyway.
The fundamental principle of a civilized society is that no person has the right to initiate the use of force on any other person. Follow that principle universally and consistently, and "war is over" (to use John Lennon's phrase). It does wonders for the economy too.
