Good Lord Kate and my fellow Canadian Comrades, tell me you still don't have that much snow up there ?

Do you guys go straight from winter to summer and then back again ?

Here in the lovely North End of Hamilton you can tell spring is back when you can smell several months worth of Pit Bull turds as they slowly thaw out. The other sure sign is that once the temperature goes above 15 degrees men and boys alike stop wearing shirts. Apparently cheap jail tattoos are a real turn on for the ladies.

I could post some of those pictures I guess. People are a little camera shy around here though.

There's still mountains of snow here in Thunder Bay. It's been a long season of climate change. I was thinking of stealing a plane and getting the hell out of here but someone beat me to it.

In Calgary that can be most definitely the case. Unfortunately the cycle can repeat several times between May and September.

And that, Gord is why we moved out of Hamilton just as soon as we could.

Gosh, what hard-hitting investigative journalism!

Over here in my little corner of the Great White North, Winterpeg is living up to its name. Still lots of snow in places. The local weather gods keep saying plus temperatures are only a few days away, but that seems to be a moving target. This a.m. they promised +10 by Saturday, now that heat wave seems to have moved to Sunday.

Oops, they are saying current temp is +2. Fat Albert's private jet must be moving further away.

Just as summer follows spring....stupid follows smart...

Mocking the himpster again? The world would be a better place if Kate McMillan would just ignore him.

Ice in the rideau canal appears to be melting. Is this correct or is it my sensor drift. Be frightened very frightened.

They actually had tables outside at the Good Earth Cafe near the U of A campus today, and quite a few people were outside getting some sun until it dropped behind the buildings across the street and winter set in again. We are probably still good for a couple of spring blizzards before the leaves come out in late May.

Plenty of snow in Prince George. Streets are bare and dry, but it's still three feet deep on lawns...

No crosses burning on those lawns though....

Don't you need a liberano around to get those crosses on the lawns to burn?

Wow, that's some kind of huge news...snow melting in April! Glad to see CKOM is all over this momentous occurrence!!!

Should be worthy of a broadcast journalism award. Good thing Himpe inherited some heavy hitters who actually provide the listener with useful information and thoughtful debate from time to time.

Himpe once and for all proves that if you don't mind the smell, kissing someone's posterior can get you anywhere.

There's even a little snow in Toronto right now.
