But what is Al Jazeera airing?

Fox is making a big mistake. Only angry rabid rightoids will be amused. Clear thinking people will see this as Fox lying to their viewers; not the stupid point they're trying to make.

Who cares what Al Jazeera broadcasts.

I read a comment on the L.A. Times coverage of this story. One commenter condemned Fox as having only "sleepwalking followers". That's like a blind man helping seeing people cross the street!

I truly can't understand this unending adulation of Obama, though it often seems to tie in with a vigorous amount of Bush Derangement Syndrome. I thus wonder if the two are connected?!

Robert,

The Obamites are mostly all emotionally disturbed or mentally defective Leftists. They are easily amused, like house cats. They never get tired of the same old teleprompter.

Now you understand.

Who cares what al Jezera broadcasts?

I haven't seen thier spring lineup yet, but I hear there will be a This Old House type of program being aired with a Bob Vila lookalike (in full 'camel wear' and beard) showing the young martyr wannabe audience the proper use, care and sharpening techniques of the family machette.

Over on thier 'lifestyle' channel, they'll be serving up thier version of 'Doctors' where we can all tune into the latest exciting breakthroughs in clitorectomy proceedures.

Over on the al-J. Kidz channel is little Mohamed (PBUH) the fuzzy bunny singing songs and decapitating evil infidel capitalist Jooooo kittens.

Yes, a little something for everyone on 'your al Jezera'. Al Jezera, soon to be required viewing along with all that 'free' CBC and the 57 different French crap channels the cable company sticks you with under the CAN-CON requirements.

not stirred enough, but enough to be cooked. Why would anyone with integrity promote lies? Do you let your children get away with lying? And if you do, do you have them do it on national tv? Fox has scruples, something No lieberal, or liberal media outlet will ever possess.

I'd prefer that Fox, for the duration of Obama's upcoming 'homily', play over and over again the song 'You're Breakin' my Heart' by Harry Nilsson.

For those of you that don't know this one, look up the lyrics or look for it on iTunes.

At this rate, Obama will have more episodes than The Simpsons by the time he leaves office.

The only difference is, The Simpsons caters to a higher level of intelligence and actually makes you question things in society today.

Also, I have unrefutable proof that Homer does not need a teleprompter. DOH!

Like I said in a previous thread, 3rd nationally broadcast press conference in the first 100 days?

Narcassist much der Barry?

Fox knows who their audience is and is perfectly capable of understanding that those viewers are smart enough to change channels if they want to watch Barry.

Stirred

You could be right about the reaction from the population but I doubt it. I think Americans still believe that FOX or any other company has the right to make their own decisions regarding how to run their business, and most of those that support BO also still support FOX’s(or anyone else’s) right to independent broadcasting. So, like everything else in life, FOX will reap the rewards(pos or neg) of their choices.

IMO, it's more likely FOX will have negative repercussions from the government opposed to the voters. If this truly is more than a bunch of lameo's (myself included) bloviating and creating stories where there are none, then 'm sure the lines have already been drawn. FOX is smart to take the offensive. Access to the public and free speech(while they have it) is their greatest defense weapon. The longer they bite their tongue, the less power they have. All this assuming there is a quite war going on between FOX and the establishment.

A more important question would be: am I going to miss "Lost"? If I must watch fiction, it should be entertaining.
Besides, it's the 100th episode. I'm not missing it because Super-Liar wants to campaign some more.

The head moron best not be doing this while Lost is on!!

AtlanticJim, we'll have our own Tea Party if that happens!

Hahaha. How appropriate: Obama's first 100 days
is being replaced by a show called "lye to me!"

Well I checked Al Jazeera's schedule...it says "Movie", but doesn't say which one.

I checked out their schedule for Newsworld...didn't see presidential address listed.

Of course, with all of the cuts they have had, they may not update their weekly schedule for special events like this.

CTV isn't even saying they are showing it. Kind of refreshing after the Obamagasm the Canadian networks had over his inauguration.

Good on Fox. They at least see the score.

I used to watch the French channels all the time when they showed that reality show from the French Riviera.

Now its just a bunch of talking heads.. and do they ever talk fast.

If they tapped the press conference and edited out all the "ums", "errs" and "ahhs" they could fit it in a normal commercial break rather then taking the whole 1 hour slot.

Who's Al Jazeera, some Liberal MP from Mississauga?

Now that obozo has extended his reach into the auto industry as well as the banks, I am greatly reassured that at least one media outlet refuses to go along with his dictates.
BTW, a reminder about those popularity figures; at 56 percent approval, obozo is actually second lowest, next to Clinton, for a president at the one hundred day mark. And that's after trying to buy off every interest group in the country with trillions of dollars in debt. Can you imagine what it will be like when the bills come due?

Fox is making a big mistake. Only angry rabid rightoids will be amused. Clear thinking people will see this as Fox lying to their viewers; not the stupid point they're trying to make.

it's in dicktatorships were there are NO choices offered

and why would "clear thinking" people see this as a lie to their viewers, you think that people in general are to stupid to know how to change channels to watch what they would like to watch??????

Not exactly Peter, but it's definately "family" for one Liberal MP from Mississauga
