Doesn't come any plainer than this folks - these are "BOUGHT AND PAID-FOR POLITICIANS". In fact, this is a bought and paid-for government. There is no doubt who they work for.
Typical. Hey, if I become a politician that polishes the knobs at all the right Canadian companies do I get a tax break? Or just an STD? (lost my date last Saturday at Earth Hour - might lose my job - just looking for opportunities)
SWM - employed (for now) seeks nice rich lady - age, race unimportant - pls, no one who requires warning signals when reversing...
980 Grand from Goldman-Sachs to Obama! $1.8 odd million to this group!
AIG gave this group nearly half a million bucks! We should be thankful that they gave Barney Frank only $250.
I suppose now that we talk about spending money in the trillions, these amounts are just chump change.
I commented earlier, Kate, that M. Chretien may have done us a favor when he cut out corporate and union political donations. I may have to actually send him a thank you card.
What I don't get is how the American people cannot see this happening. They still worship at the feet of Obama.
I went to YouTube so I could post this video elswere and I cannot even find it. Kate can you post a link please?
Corporate donations in the US are also forbidden to political candidates. But there are loopholes that are big enough to fill up, say the state of Connecticut.
Speaking of Connecticut, here's how it works: AIG contributes to its PAC and then the PAC makes the contribution. And then Joseph Cassano, the chief executive for the AIG Financial Products Division sends out an e-mail to remind folks what Chris Dodd can do for or to them and TA-DA! Dodd's coffers are $160,000 richer. (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/30/aig-chiefs-pressed-to-donate-to-dodd/)
A year ago I was abused for openly stating the Obama would win because he had the nations most corrupt political machine behind him and he was tapped into wall street and establishment foundation funding through his CFR connections.
The proof is in the funding trail...every one of these donors is either a CFR alumnus or CFR legacy foundation chair holder.
Obama was and is a puppet of financial establishment insiders.
A point that I made on another blog last fall was that the USA is turning its back on the 'market economy'.
And now they have degenerated into a political economy where all production/commerce hangs on every word that comes out of the mouth of some two-bit politician in Washington.
'Are we going to get a subsidy?'
'Will we get a tax break to do this?'
'Let's stall this project until the politicians get interested in it and get on the band wagon.'
'If we do it this way, I think we milk some more help out of them'
Canada tried state corporatism under the Trudeau fascists and it took a long time to get rid of it.
It just doesn't work when political appointees are running things, because most of them lack the knowledge.
And don't forget it was Trudeau's beloved state corporatism that led Canada to its humungous $900 billion total govt debt in the 1990s.
Now why is it that the flower children have no understanding of what debt can do to a nation?
"If only [Democrats] had large [unions] give them huge dontations [sic]"
The Dems are working both sides of the street - the big unions and the big corporations. The corporations that donated to the Dems got their bailout. The unions' bailout package, aka "card check", is stalled for now - but it will return.
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice
of an ordinary Canadian
yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."
homepage email Kate (goes to a private
mailserver in Europe)
I can't answer or use every
tip, but all are
appreciated!

One thing's for sure, Obama's a pretty easy drunk. For a minuscule investment, these suitors have bought lots of affection!

A Billion bucks an hour? Ouch! When the Yanks fall, they're gonna drag us down, too!
Has Obama ever paid off all his election debts? Where does all the extra campaign funds go? Just asking.

Nice, eh?

From the bank's perspective:
It's not who you know - it's who you own,
Obama's biggest contributors? The employees of the University of California: $1,385,675
You'd think that would at least get you the first commencement address instead of those knuckle-dragging pro-life Catholics at Notre Dame, eh?
I find it odd that nobody is asking the Democratic Party to return those donations received from companies that got Tarp funds.
How much was donated to Republican candidates from these companies?
WLM Redux: It's almost nauseating the number of retread CFRers that are either contributing to or members of this administration.
If only republicans had large corporations give them huge dontations
get your heads out of your ass it works both ways
