How does this compare to previous administrations?
Dont tell me it cant be that hard to find an honest dem?

I bet the nasssty Republican swine stole all the "O" keys off the keyboards!
But seriously, its probably pretty hard to find enough Lefties with basic reading and writing skills. We know they haven't found any who can count yet.
Only six percént done and he has already cancelled attending some functions due to "exhaustion". If he gets beat up in some legislative measures and his popularity drops to below fifty percent he could well become more of a hermit than Nixon in his second term.
Having a hard time finding dems without tax problems...
And they didn't even have to replace all the 'O' keys on the computer keyboards or fix the vandalized phone system.
Ok, no explanation. I do have this, though...
I might have an idea as to why the BHO admin. is so slow to get around to doing their job. Indeed, they're "exhausted"... and hung over, from frequent wild, hedonistic parties (in the middle of the week as well as any time they feel like it) that have nothing whatsoever to do with politics or work... all paid for by the taxpayer:

Funny pix there, including a really nasty one of our good buddy "Catmeat" drunk as a skunk somewhere else...
Don't you know that the "Owe" is way to busy having a swing set set up outside his oval office, for his kids, to have time to be runnning a country. Outside the oval office so he can watch them at play.
Geez. Get your priorities straight will ya.
"Sources close to the White House say Mr. Obama and his staff have been "overwhelmed" by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest."
Looting the treasury is a very very big job. There are so many looters to satisfy.
I don't ever remember the Dubya administration complaining of being 'overwhelmed'. Even if they felt the heat they would never whine about it. Obama and his crew seem like girlymen. "It's soooo difficult!!"
If the 'O' keys are gone they can keep the 'zero' key going. Fitting.
Or maybe they can put together 2 'bracket' keys. '()bama'
A photographic contrast between Reagan/Bush and Obama. This says it all...

I find it very comforting to see these useless individuals looking reality in the face. Wait for the big blitz blaming George W for leaving everything in such bad shape they "had no choice" but to do things they had promised they would never do.
When die hard American Patriots such as the two I mentioned in an earlier post say there is no way in hell this son of a bitch is getting his hands on my money, I really start to wonder what is going to happen. That came from one of the guys that was a nauseatingly rah rah American. But the best line was from the mid western guy with a drawl that never quit. Maybe the bewitched bothered and bewildered group of Bob, Bono and the Bozos from Hollywood can put together a little fun raiser for the new boy, cuse he sure as hell aint gettin my money.
Well, Boo Hoo! Mr. Obama went after this job with zeal and we're now supposed to be sorry for his failures (re even low level functions)? (He’s supposed to DELEGATE to competent staffers. Oh? He doesn’t have any? I get the problem now. And whose fault is that?)
What an entitled, deluded empty suit this man is. Honestly, when even people like O'Reilly say Obama's really an intelligent guy, I'm stumped. Well, I guess one can be both intelligent and stupid: I have lefty friends who fit that description to a T. So, yes, Obama may be intelligent, but, as POTUS—and, politically, long before—he appears to have left his intelligence behind.
This guy seems to have difficulty setting priorities. I'm all in favour of family dinners and tucking in the kids. But perhaps, seeing as he's now the leader (sic) of the free (for now) world, which is in the midst of an historical crisis, he might have to consider deferring certain pleasures on occasion. (He tells everyone else that they should.)
Defer pleasures? Now that's probably a new concept for Obama, as far as he, himself, is concerned. Get used to it, sir. (BTW, grow up too.)
And God bless George Bush!
do you theenk eets eezy to make prioriteezee???? BHO = SD ???
My suspicion is there is lots of debate and lobbying over which person to choose...Clintonites, Gore backers,Obamabots....you know it is tough to make everyone happy....And Lord knows what Rahm is up to with all of this.
I don't envy the Americans being forced to wait four years to give this one the bum's rush out the door.
At least they'll have a chance in a couple years to take the majorities away from both houses so as to minimize the damage BHO can wreak in the following two.
Impeach? Nah, the Demmies haven't the 'nads.

just an observation over 66 years. Some of the most intelligent highly educated people I have met in my life are some of the most reality challenged and practically stupid individuals I have ever come across. I think a lot of people make the mistake equating intelligence to practical application.
"Dont tell me it cant be that hard to find an honest dem?"
Probably, but the real problem is they are too busy getting up to speed with the new concept of filling out Income Tax Forms to be available.
My greatest concern is someone showing 'fatigue' only two months into a four-year contract. Signs of fatigue include procrastination, difficulty in simple mathematics and short-term memory difficulties, including recalling names. The 'free world' doesn't need a leader with those problems. Could we have the first 'medical impeachment' in the near future?
So, first, Hillary gets the history of democracy wrong, because she's exhausted, and now, the Messiah is rude to the head of a foreign government, because he too, is exhausted.
Maybe they should try working for a living in one of the millions of tough jobs us peasants have to do to survive, then they could legitimately claim "exhaustion".
Pikers.
Obama "overwhelmed?" "Exhausted"? I thought those words were usually used for movie celebrities who showed up drunk or stoned at public functions.
They won't wash with Obama - in the primary campaign and the election campaign he showed real toughness.
That he is a third--world kleptocrat and the Americans are finding him out no doubt causes him dismay. He is probably intelligent enough to realise that the domestic situation is only going to get worse, with a fair amount of blame attaching to him. He has no options left, except of course for capitalistic ones which he can't even understand let alone wish to adapt or adopt.
Obama has not behaved intelligently since winning the presidential election. One of Macchiavelli's rules is that the successful ruler should only appear to take credit for policies and actions that his public like. The bad stuff should be handled by disposable subordinates (can you say "Yeshov"?). While Obama disposes of people without qualm, he has been front and centre in American policy from November onward.
Again, Obama lies reflexively, which is stupid. For example, as has been pointed out, there is no way that he didn't have contact with the Illinois governor of the day about filling his own seat, and such contact was entirely proper. An effective ruler must tell the truth whenever possible.
I suspect too that the Obama administration may be suffering from internal disputes which Obama can't control, probably centering on policy re Israel. Anti-Semitic anti-Israel Democrats abound, but can Rahm Emanuel really be one of them? A practicing Orthodox Jew who fought in one of the Israel-Arab wars? Can he really have agreed the massive aid package for Gaza - or more accurately, for Hamas? Possible, but I strongly doubt it. We have no inside information on the workings of the Obama administration.
Even our scumbag media couldn't cover up how gracious George and Laura Bush were to the new President and his wife when they arrived at their new home.
i'm so tired

I need some rest.
Pictures of Reagan, Bush & Obama posted by Canadian Sentinel are priceless. Which do you want covering your back in the trenches?
These pictures posted in public (not just the net) should ensure a revolt against the O. Probably should be banned as seditious.
Do you think it's easy finding 1200 people who haven't paid their taxes?
My theory is that time drags on, and the situation is getting worse, prospective nominees are seeing that not only is joining the administration a loosing proposition, but that this whole thing could, in fact, devolve into civil unrest. When civil unrest comes, best to be far away from it. Or, at least to have a lot better personal security than Deputy Secretaries of this and that are likely to have.
It is hard work to single-handedly drop the DOW by 20%. Give the big zero a break.

Too bad that. Does he read the newspaper instead ? That would explain it.
[ Mr. Obama signaled that those on the left seeking a wholesale reversal of Mr. Bush’s detainee policy might be disappointed. Mr. Obama said that by the time he got into office, the Bush administration had taken “steps to correct certain policies and procedures after those first couple of years” after the Sept. 11 attacks.] NYT
Let me see now - "the Bush administration had taken “steps to correct certain policies and procedures after those first couple of years” after the Sept. 11 attacks."
A couple of years after 2001 is about 2003. So, according to Obama, things were changing to his satisfaction during the five year period 03 to 08, he admits now. So, why was he yapping on the campaign trail ?
Am I missing something here ?

Obama should just abscond with his billions and move in with Mugabe in France and turn the government over to Bush till a special election can be called.

"Obama makes Oval Office call to reporters
President Obama was so concerned that he had appeared to dismiss a question from New York Times reporters about whether he was a socialist that he called the newspaper from the Oval Office to clarify his policies.
"It was hard for me to believe that you were entirely serious about that socialist question," he told reporters, who had interviewed the president aboard Air Force One on Friday.
Opening the unusual presidential call to reporters by saying that there was "just one thing I was thinking about as I was getting on the copter," he said it wasn't he who started the federal government's intervention into the nation's financial system.
"I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement -– the prescription drug plan -- without a source of funding. And so I think it’s important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word 'socialist' around can’t say the same.""

Question. How to Obama proof your portfolio. Google, 128,000 hits. Think there could be a trend?
I saw an interview on the CBC with George "add long name here" of The Hour and the editor of Vanity Fair who is a Canadian.
They were going on about Bush and his policies. The Vanity Fair editor has a big dislike for Bush and his policies. The CBC guy then talked about interacting with the White House and the Vanity Fair guy said, to be honest, they were extremely well organized and very well mannered and thoughtful. Then the Vanity Fair guy let it slip that the Clinton Administration was a mess - they were constantly missing commitments or changing their minds at the last second, etc.
That says something good about Bush.
ccon - agree - Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under Clinton, said that the Clinton white house was a disaster (in BBC interviews post Clinton). Clinton's entire focus was on getting elected - nothing was planned in terms of what to do after the election.
Granted, Obama has a real %&*$ sandwich to deal with here (that has been a long time being prepared), but that "unprepared for governance" story sounds a bit familiar.
I guess that Hope, Change, and a free ride from MSM bootlicking toadies will only take you so far.
Perhaps this paste should be on the other thread; however, it may be of interest.

Conservatives want to help our program by FOCUSING STRICTLY on “constructive criticisms” not nasty, vindictive criticisms. That’s the signature of the LEFT spectrum, and doesn’t represent clear, conservative incremental thought toward solutions. Constructive determinism is a drawing card that helps garner support, especially in terms of votes — which we need. Vindictive nitpicking isn’t what we should be about. Doing business different than the Liberals IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE ABOUT> And I’ll say no more. We have the better program, let’s speak, act and think like it. Because winning is our goal to implement any solutions we can come up with for the people’s agenda.

Dear UV: What an illuminating use of language. I have been following this story of Obama’s lack of stamina for a couple of days - I refer you to Michelle Malkin, Hot Air, Little Green Footballs, Instapundit, Townhall, Red State, Michael Savage - in comparision my comments are tame. This is what is wrong with politics, everyone takes themselves too seriously. Horrors that someone should use sarcasm and polite mocking to make a point. My advice, don’t inhale!"

You know, in most corporations you usually have to spend at least some time in the mail room before they make you CEO. If only Oby would have at least run a hotdog stand. Scheeeeeesh!
God help us all.
Can't get to this website at the neweditor. They tell me that my address is blacklisted. Go figure that is the first time I have ever gone to it.

Oh great, Obama is already playing the victim card.
I can't wait until he blames something on his teleprompter.
Personally I blame Chris Mathews. He said it was his job as a journalist to make this presidency work.
Seems he isn't doing what he thinks is his job.

So far, everything about the Obama administration has been decidedly amateur. To wit:
- slagging of the previous administration
- multiple tax-cheat appointees
- inability to follow basic protocol vis-a-vis foreign leader visits
- Rob Gibbs, enough said
And, this doesn't even touch on areas of policy.
The Bush Bunch were well experienced in the business world.
The Obama Lunch is mostly experienced in the touchy feely stuff. And the head cases.
Protests rallies and community meetings are not
the same world as the board room.
In business, time really is money for the most part.
Obama's social planning world didn't have much to do with deadlines and gittin' 'er done, Bush style.
Pres Obama should have hit the ground running after Nov 22, and had a lot of the prelim done by Jan 20.
The MSM made fun of Palin and her worldly knowledge, or lack of it.
But the Big Owe'a treatment of PM Brown was far worse than Palin could have ever dreamed.
Pres Obama apparently doesn't understand who his friends are to defend our North American way of life.
The MSM and elites were critical of Pres Reagan because he worked an 8 hour day as President. Reagan COULD delegate because he had clear policies, direction and principles. His cabinet and other appointees in the administration knew what was good policy and what was bad policy. More gun control? Fugitaboutit! Less business regulation? Bash on! Destroy the USSR? Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
Obama does not have any governing principles and he must decide ALL policy matters (of course after several hours of briefings on every detail). The more the government wants to control, the more details needing decisions. A recipe for disaster as indecision becomes the norm.
I can't believe the naivete even here at SDA, with all the stories posted, and all the comments left about 'The One', that people here actually think that 'He' is trying to do something, or planning to do something, or wants to do something about the slide in the markets!!! FYI, Owebama doesn't want to do anything to stop the slide! Poor people at DOW 15,000 won't be much poorer at DOW 1,500. 'He' is leveling the playing field and it's happening right before your eyes. "Change You Can Believe In"
yep, that's the change you get when you elect a half black african commie as president.
