Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SDA Late Nite Radio. Tonight, for your delectation and pursuant to our Monday night jazz show, here are Count Basie and his Orchestra, featuring Eric Dixon on flute and Al Aarons on trumpet, performing Blues Alley in Paris in 1968 (5:53).
Your Reader Tips are, as always, welcome in the comments.

A late night question. I've been wondering how someone like Obama, a pathological narcissist, will handle criticism of his agenda and actions.
After all, he's never, ever, in his entire life, put himself in a position where he was directly answerable and accountable to anyone, for anything.
He's always been buffered - either as a minor member of Senate who did essentially nothing; as a community organizer who, equally, did nothing; as a member of a large Chicago political network of 'I'll help you if you help me'; as a poster boy in the Democratic Party.
As an extreme narcissist, he can't accept dissent or criticism. He has to feel that he controls how you act with him. That's, of course, why he rejects the middle class, rejects individual freedom, rejects private enterprise and so on. With this pathology, he's moved himself into the Democratic Party and its two-class socialist agenda.
Now, these two different agendas - Obama's need to control and prevent freedom; the Democratic need for Big Government socialism...are being moved into the US. And people are starting to object. How will Obama react? I've been puzzling about this, and am speculating..
I speculate that he will utterly ignore it. He's always buffered himself from direct accountability for his actions. He's moved himself into a fictional world of his own authorship. He's tried to deal with dissent by accusations of bias - where he'll accuse people who don't agree with him as acting out of 'partisanship' or racism. But, when the dissent reaches a higher level - what will he do?\
He'll act 'as if' this dissent doesn't exist.
The Democrats, who are elitists, will consider the dissenters as beneath their notice. Pelosi has already said this - claiming that she doesn't bother with the 'popular press or media'.
But Obama - he won't take the elitist stance; he'll instead, since he lives in a fictional world, 'remove them from his text'. Dissenters simply won't exist.
Speculation. I wonder.
ET - does it seem to you that Michael Ignatieff shares many of the same Obama traits? Great rhetoric - always Me, me, me.
NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from
wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not
belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen
Lorriane - I would debate the great rhetoric part regarding MI, but the me, me, me part is correct.
Two days ago in Reader Tips, there was a poster who said,
"it suddenly hit me that Obama is engaging in the Mother of all Cloward-Piven strategies ...
It seems a bit extreme to suggest that he is deliberately trying to destroy the American economy, but I think it is no exaggeration to suggest that he is."
I put in a reply (still the last one in the thread, late the next day), but I'm going to repeat it here (shuffled a little), mainly because the "Cloward-Piven" thing sounds so much like Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine" from the other side:
From the linked page in the other thread: the "Cloward-Piven" strategy is a strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
Personally I don't think at this point that Ohbummer is trying to destroy the American economy, but when the problems are taxation, regulation and subsidization, and your stimulus package amounts to more of the same, it ain't gonna help.
ET: Those narcissism links you provided were most enlightening. I had read one -- or part of one -- of them earlier.
Heard on Hugh Hewitt today, that Obama is eliminating or reducing (not sure which) the charitable tax credit. This makes perfect sense for a ideological Marxist (which, btw, Dick Morris calls him) who would consider charitable organizations, including churches, a threat to the unencumbered growth of the leviathan state.
A good piece at American Thinker bolsters your point Democrat elitism. It seems that Michelle Obama ran a programme at Chicago University Health Centre which involved dumping poorer patients (medicaid, and no-insurance patients) onto to community hospitals so that the elitist medical operations could focus on the more affluent and highly insured. They marketed it as a plus for the downtrodden and a profit centre for the community hospitals. Not mentioned in the piece was that Michelle got a huge pay rise after Obama arranged a nice ear mark for the hospital when he was a state senator.

Hi nv53: That was me. And I have to say I'm more convinced that ever that he is deliberately trying to destroy American capitalism. As you probably know Obama was a star Alinsky acolyte. Are you familiar with Alinsky's Rule for Radicals?
BTW, Dick Morris has recently opined that Obama is a "ideological marxist" -- a view I've held since way before the election, but one that ET rejects.
A link to TMZ.com where actress Maria Conchita Alonso, a former co-star of Sean Penn, gives her opinion of his politics. Worth watching! (PS She was raised in Venezuela)

I always said 'Fake leaders imposing fake solutions to fake problems'.
I didn't realize that this strategy had a proper name. Thanks nv53.
Canada has already had its famous fake leader with his fake problems and his fake solutions, like the Emergency Planning Order.
And many Canadians are still really peed off at that lunacy.
It seems that many in the US are becoming increasingly alarmed with the direction that this presidency on training wheels is taking.
Washington Debts R US.
Good thing the sane people get a chance in 4 yrs to make a change.
But it is tough to get those suckers out though, once they are in and throwing that unlimited fiat money around.
ET: I've been wondering the same thing. When the "Obama Bubble" bursts as all bubbles do and the media notices some of the things his critics have been noticing how will he react? Unlike Bush and Clinton who were tested and have thick skins, the girly-man meterosexual inexperienced Obama will be entering uncharted territory. Having seen how he reacted with rage when one sympathetic female reporter made an innocuous comment about his ears I think we could witness a personal meltdown of historic proportions.
The tragedy is that he should have been tested by now but wasn't because the racist media was unwilling to treat the black man the way they ripped into everyone else including females Clinton and Palin and mormon Romney. If Obama self destructs it will be solely the media's fault and I they know this so they will do everything they can to protect him for as long as they can. He will have to screw up really badly repeatly before the heat gets turned on. I do find it hilarious that despite the media's cheer leading of epic proportions many other presidents including Bush and Carter had higher approval ratings at similar periods in their presidencies.
The buyer's remorse seems to be setting in with many of his supporters including wall street and the Buckley spawn. I wonder what Buffet thinks of his boy now that he is not predicting a recovery for a long time and just had his worst results ever. So many people who gave Obama a lot of the $750 million he used to get elected must be very very very upset right about now. What happens when they start to act?
Apparently Kate dropped in to give Obama a piece of her mind in Chicago: video to follow ...

I remember the ears thing as a small example of something that really bothered B.Hussien during the campaign, all out of scope for what it really was. A bit thin skinned to have those millions of eyes on him for the next 4 years (I don't think it'll be 8...). I think these years of declining economic strength will take its toll on the USA, and its allies, however when we look back at the physical decline/rapid aging of B.Hussien, it'll make more sense.
To anyone who thinks the economic stimulus plan is doomed to fail, watch as B.Hussien fails to grasp the power of dissent.
I don't think he has it in him to ignore this dissent, liberals as a general rule are not so equipped.
I wonder if they'll have a doctors general strike when medicare comes to them?
Former President Bush will apparently be speaking at the Calgary Convention Centre on March 17th.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/03/back-by-unpopul.html
Me No Dhimmi I think that you are absolutely correct about the 'needed crisis' and I think that ET is correct about the personality disorder.
I think that the Demos know that the stimulus package will plunge USA (and, by default, the free world) into a huge economic crisis. People lose their spirit when they find themselves broke and unemployed. A person without money has no power, that person is at the mercy of every other person in his area. The desperate are easy people to buy off with bartering 'you rat on the neighbour/brother/son/sister/dad that is fighting against the state and the state will give you a good paying job and a place to live'. The Demo's plan, IMO, is not to fix the economy; it is to destroy the economy and the 'good life', with security, that North Americans expect - and, very important, to deprive all free men/women of gov't accountability.
Watch for the free speech restrictions and the grab for property (real estate and guns); people who co-operate to 'save themselves' will be saved for later...
Anyone who is not familiar with the Russian Revolution will not know that the people of Russia did not murder the Tsar (the Bolsheviks did that!), the people kicked the Tsar out of power so that they could have an elected Duma (parliament) to govern their nation. The Bolsheviks moved in to a chaotic Duma (all new Representatives and several philosophies vying for power) and they staged a 'coup' (almost exactly like the one here in Canada in Jan - hence my name for the Dipper/Puffin/Blocheads - the Troika of Traitors) then the Bolsheviks (with their pre trained network of thugs) threatened those in the Duma who would not co-operate. The 'Crisis' the Lenin thugs had was WWI, massive military death, a scandal and poor leadership from the Tsar and starvation. Lenin offered land to the peasants (which he later stole from them) an end to the war (no more dead soldiers from the frount), jobs, and a redistribution of wealth (give the people who worked the money and property of those who lived in luxury, whether the later worked or not); it was fodder for the desperate starving people and for the disillusioned soldiers who had been sent into battle without ammo, guns or boots.
It took a huge crisis to allow such a radical form of government to gain a foothold in a nation just emerging from the Feudal Age; the Russian people still formed armies against the Communists and fought them for three more years.
The meltdown of the markets in the USA is just the beginning; what happens when China calls in the debt and sends soldiers over to collect it?
It is not too late to stop this suicide of a nation (of a world and a way of life!!) but people must get out of their comfortable mindset and off their couchs. They must obstruct and oppose every move the Demos make, they must make it impossible for any of the borrowed money to undermine what they have left...they must guard their Liberty now and that will mean sticking together to refuse the handouts and not buying anything that they cannot afford and they must close off the 'agents of destruction' from themselves and their children. Communism is like mustard gas..it immobilizes people if they take a sniff..this goes for Canada too.
Maybe people here will think that I am a radical alarmist to say such things, everyone is entitled to their opinion; but I have read a lot of Russian History books. If the USA goes down, we all go down and there will be no where on earth to run..the 'GW crisis' is aspect of the Obama regime that is an arm of the crisis mentality...Mother Nature, God Bless Her, has undermined that manufactured crisis so the regime has manufactured a future crisis of their own by using the power the American people gave them in the last election, IMO.

Since the resuscitation of old songs seems to be in, I submit this 1986 one by The Pursuit of Happiness: "I'm An Adult Now." Its video is one of the few that poked at the 'I-must-protest' '60s culture, in a spirit of knock-the-elders fun. (Yes, there's "balance" in the video too.)

"Inside the Stalin Archives’
I threw myself at the hangman's feet, You are my son, my horror. Everything's mixed up for me forever, And who is a man and who a beast Will never now be clear ... —Anna Akhmatova, Requiem, 1937
At the funeral of Josef Stalin on March 9, 1953, Vyacheslav Molotov, Stalin's comrade since the revolution, bid farewell to his beloved vozhd, his leader, with the words: "The immortal name of Stalin will always live in our hearts, in the hearts of the Soviet people and of all progressive humanity." Even though Stalin had imprisoned Molotov's wife in 1949 and sent her into exile; even though Molotov had seen many signs that he himself was out of favor with the master and in imminent danger of being purged and possibly executed, his complete devotion to Stalin never wavered to the end of his long life in 1986.
Molotov was not alone."
"Yet fifty-five years after Stalin's death, the place of Stalin in Russian life remains enigmatic, and many in Russia and around the world might utter the same words as Yezhov at his trial; there are many for whom "Stalin lives." How can this be? After Khrushchev's secret speech in 1956 denouncing the cult of personality, Stalin's crimes became public knowledge and his body was removed from the Lenin Mausoleum; after the revelations of glasnost, outrage against the cruelties and stupidities of the Soviet police state was publicly aired; after the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union, the nation that Stalin had killed and tortured so mercilessly to construct seemed a thing of the past. How could anyone believe any longer in Stalin's vision of the "peaceful structure of a happy life"? Facts and figures do not explain it."

"Cooler heads at NOAA coming around to natural variability
2 03 2009
Guest Post by Steven Goddard
It appears that global cooling recognition may be starting to make headway in the scientific community. We have this Discovery/MSNBC article about a NOAA scientist titled “Warming might be on hold, study finds“
“It is possible that a fraction of the most recent rapid warming since the 1970’s was due to a free variation in climate,” Isaac Held of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Princeton, New Jersey wrote in an email to Discovery News. “Suggesting that the warming might possibly slow down or even stagnate for a few years before rapid warming commences again.”
And Swanson thinks the trend could continue for up to 30 years.
Here’s the complete story from The Discovery Channel via MSNBC:"
"Earth’s climate continues to confound scientists. Following a 30-year trend of warming, global temperatures have flatlined since 2001 despite rising greenhouse gas concentrations, and a heat surplus that should have cranked up the planetary thermostat.
“This is nothing like anything we’ve seen since 1950,” Kyle Swanson of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee said. “Cooling events since then had firm causes, like eruptions or large-magnitude La Ninas. This current cooling doesn’t have one.”"

Anyone find it hilarious how the Liberals are so against "attack ads" when they can't afford them?
Dammit they invented them.
Not to worry, they've got a whole army of shills in the MSM to shoot down the attacks and add their own feigned shock at such unkind tactics.
They do seem to be worried as do the media shills who are talking about the Conservatives being hunkered down in their "war room" preparing the ads.
The Opposition are worried about their own prospects for power while the government and the people are concentrating on getting through this tough period. It's also amusing to hear Liberals talk about something they're all too familiar with, calling the fast tracking of funds to get out quickly a "slush" fund in the making.
Just a little reminder to those who sometimes forget to check my own headlines daily...

ET:
Unlike WJC and GWB, he will not take the slings and arrows largely in silence. Rather he will demonize those who oppose him publically and marginalize them - making his most visible opponents his whipping boys. In fact he is already doing it with Rush. And already he has managed to divide the GOP over some of rush's comments.
As for his desire to destroy capitalism - I think that is overstated. I think he is in the mould of John K Galbraith who once postulated that since all of the big companies (and rich owners) are perpetually profitable they should be nationalized and the profits taken directly into general revenues (his corporate examples were - i kid you not - Polaroid, Xerox and General Motors). BO doesn't plan to nationalize them - that is politically verboten these days, but rather to tie them down with regulations and taxes.
BO is like a lot of socialsts in that he believes that business profits and activity are like water - renewable, but finite - never growing but also never shrinking. In reality they are like plants - capable of growing and replicating indefinitely as long as the right growing conditions exist (and the better the conditions the more growth). By treating business like water - robbing it of the conditions it needs to flourish - BO will kill or stunt it making the US and the world a much poorer place.
It should also be noted that by crippling business and saddling the country with trillions of debt BO also achieves his pacifist goal of forcing the US to retreat from its global activities.
The only way to stop him is by unifying against him. That's what they said about Stalin too.
Meanwhile Acorn has 5.3 billion to spend and Rohm emanuel now has control of the census department.
lorraine - in answer to your question about Michael Ignatieff - no, I don't think that he's similar to Obama.
He's mildly narcissistic but not in a pathological way. He is instead a prime example of an elitist, someone who considers themself an intellectual and moral elite. He assumes a two-class world, made up of the Superior Elites, who govern; and the rest..who are governed. That's also why we find Democrats/Liberals/the left primarily in the cities where they fill the government funded jobs in academia, civil service, health care etc.
Elites are buffered from accountability; tenured whether as academics or civil service; isolate from first level reality, living primarily within the secondary level of words and documents and meetings.
Ignatieff is an Elitist, who views himself as someone who can and must Govern the masses. Harper is a conservative pragmatist; he's a member of the class which doesn't exist in the Liberal/Democrat/left world - the middle class.
Obama, on the other hand, is a pathological narcissist. This psychological aberration governs him and all his interactions. His primal need is to control how others act to him. He is not, in my view, an analytical or ideological thinker (as is Ignatieff); he doesn't think through a policy, a theory on 'what's best for the state'..and follow that theory. Obama hasn't studied state structure, analyzed it, decided what's best.
He has aligned himself with the Democrats, the socialists only because their policies of Elitist Control make him feel psychologically comfortable.
The Republican/Conservative themes of individual entrepreneurship, direct interactions with others and direct responsibility rather than governmental control...make him feel vulnerable and I would even say, quite frightened.
So, he'll choose censorship, removal of freedom of speech and govt control over individual action because that means that the government controls people and he feels protected from the direct actions of other people.
It's hard to explain but he will not put himself in a position where he and another person directly interact...with each responsible only to themselves..He needs the protection of a higher authority, whether it's his own fictional world or the government, to set up a buffer between him and others.
This 'buffer' can be fictional where he assumes he's superior and others aren't in that text; he'll ignore them.
If the Others can't be ignored, he'll redefine them as racist, bigoted...so that they can be rejected.
Or, if he's in power, he'll silence them.
When he is criticized - he feels he is losing this control over how others act towards him; he feels this buffer is disappearing he can react with rage.
So, I'm wondering how Obama will react now that he's moved himself into a position where others view and judge him.
It might be his normal strategy which is to 'erase them' from his fictional world..which he himself writes and lives within.
Or, it might be..if these Others are too loud and 'in his face'..that he'll accuse them of racism, bias, whatever. This tactic will be carried out on his behalf by others and the MSM.
Or..he'll try to impose government censorship. This tactic will also be carried out by others.
The key thing for Obama is his need to control his 'text', the world in which he lives.
If you put these two 'worlds' together, the fictional pathological world of Obama, and the socialist world of the Democrats - that's quite a dangerous combination.
Oh, the Americans will come around when substantial US property is expropriated to the Chinese for payment of debt.
The conservatives AND the moderates in the US are becoming alarmed about Obama.
David Brooks, of the New York Times, writes "Those of us who consider ourselves moderates — moderate-conservative, in my case — are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was. His words are responsible; his character is inspiring. But his actions betray a transformational liberalism that should put every centrist on notice."
Obama's need to control how others act with him functions, first, within his control of 'the text'; that is, his world. It's fictional; he writes it and he lives in it. If he doesn't like how you operate, you simply aren't in The Text.
Next, is his role, where he acts within a buffer that is a network. He's a 'node' in the network and the network acts to protect him. So, he's in the Democrat Party; he's in Senate; he's in the Chicago Political Network.
Then, when he moves into Chief Node, the buffering network becomes more powerful (Presidential Privilege, Democrat Party, dominance in Senate and House). BUT, with a free press and internet and another political party - the Others are also more powerful than they were in the earliest phases.
So, he has to reduce their power. He'll move the Others into fighting amongst themselves.
His economic actions are based on a class war between the evil rich and the deserving poor. There's no middle class of small businesses and individuals. This is also the ideology of the two class socialist Democrats.
The race war will increase as a tactic to divide the Other. This is also the ideology of the socialist Democrats.
But, he and the Democrats have to divide the Republicans; they have to mock and belittle the middle class and the moderates - and yet, increase and maintain their dominance in the Senate and House. Not an easy task..so, what new tactic will emerge?

But Obama - he won't take the elitist stance;
since he lives in a fictional world
Well, if anyone knows about living in a fictional world, ET, it's you.
Obama: Not a ideological marxist? I beg to differ:
- Father was a marxist.
- Mentor (and pedohpile) Frank Marshall Davis was a communist.
- William Ayers describes himself as a 'small c communist. As his his wife, Dohrm (sp?).
- Black Liberation Theology is unquestionably a form of Marxism, definitely not Christianity. He steeped himself, and his wife and children in it for 20 years.
- He has stated that at university he sought out the marxist professors and "structural feminists".
- He was a star pupil of the Alinsky method (which is to destroy liberal democratic capitalism).
- His mysterious past. 12 years as a academic professional without a single scholarly article or book (all records sealed -- we don't even have his theses).
- His Orwellian lying: saying he's not in favour of big government, saying there's no pork in the "stimulus" bill despite the presence of 8000 earmarks.
I do not require doctrinal purity to assign a tag for the simple reason that there are no pure forms of any ideology existant in the world as we know it.
Obama is a Marxist. Probably a kind of Manchurian candidate (Mansourian candidate). Making Alinksy smile in his grave, he is quickly undertaking the destruction of American capitalism. He doesn't care if he gets a second term. He hopes to do irreversible damage in the one term.

He's dissing PM Harper and McKay over the Russian fighter jets story.Inluded in the print version is a photo of Prime Minister Harper in the cockpit of the CF-18....taken last summer!
Read this for further evidence of the laziness and bias of Weston and his friends in the PPG.
Libs do not need money for their campaign...Weston and Co. can do all the work for free!

me no dhimmi - well, we'll just have to agree to disagree. You say that Obama is a Marxist; I say that he isn't. But there's a point you are, I think, missing in my rejection.
I'm saying that Obama is not ideologically or intellectually committed to a theory, in itself for itself. And you haven't provided any proof that he is ideologically, intellectually, committed to the theories of Marxism.
He aligns himself with socialism because, psychologically, he can only function in a system that enables him to control Other People. This alignment with socialism is completely different from being intellectually committed to the theories of Marxism.
The 'right' or Republian/Conservative political ideology is focused around the individual agendas of the free individual. The individual who directly acts with others, who takes responsibility, who questions, debates, who rejects Big Government as The Answer to All Questions. Obama can't psychologically function within such freedom.
Obama is embedded within the Democratic Party, which is socialist rather than Marxist (understanding Marx as having an end point of communism or no state government). The Democratic Party is two-class; the Elite Guardians who Rule, and the masses who are Ruled. No middle class.
The Democrats actually intellectually believe in this framework.
I'm saying that Obama is not an 'idealogue', not someone who takes political action because of the theory but who takes political action because it 'makes him feel better'. Obama, just like his rhetoric, is all about emotion, hope, change for the better-feeling. But this refers to himself. Someone like him feels better when they can control Others.
He's NOT an intellectual person, he's NOT someone who analyzes political and economic structure..and thinks it through and visualizes long term results. The Democrat idealogues are utopians who dream about the 'perfect state'. Obama is nested within their agenda because this agenda is, as socialist, setting up a totalitarian controlling central government.
You know, if Obama were a genuine Marxist, he could handle debate and questions on the theory of the state. He'd write and expound on the virtues of such a policy. But he doesn't and never has. He hasn't a clue about such things.
There are TWO agendas and two Agents in Washington now. There's the Democratic agenda which is socialist. That is, two class; the Elite Rulers setting up controlling Big Government. And, there is Obama's agenda, which is to set up a system where he feels secure, where he controls Others. These are like two Agents.
Your analysis, me no dhimmi, posits only ONE Agenda in Washington: socialist veering towards marxism. I'm suggesting TWO agendas.
My question focuses around what happens when a psychological need is harnessed to a political agenda. Can the former be unsatisfied and even, feel threatened by the political agenda? Can the political agenda reduce the tension of the first, the psychological need? Or will it increase it?

A major structural change has resulted in significant layoffs at ''A'' television in Ottawa.
Thirty full time employees are leaving the Ottawa and Pembroke operations immediately, in what the company calls a necessary response to the grave financial situation facing conventional television in Canada."

2 03 2009
The Capital Climate Action protest went on today in Washington DC with a march on the coal fired power plant. Amazingly, NASA’s Dr. James Hansen actually showed up and took the stage at the protest to complete his transformation from scientist to political activist. But, we”ll leave the issue of his appearance there for another discussion.
Here are some scenes from the live web feed today.

Here’s a chronological order of the protest in a series of screencaps from the video feed."

Don't understand the logic of A channel cutting off an evening news program and running a morning program four 4 hours. How can that be good for wooing advertisers?

According to the Leftist doctrine, it's not what's said , it's who says it. If Harper says it's a good time to buy stocks when they're down it's scandalous, it's bad. If Obama says it, it's either ignored, it's clever or it makes sense, it's good.
That's the politics of the absurd playing the double standard.
Brilliant, Brilliant stuff ET.
Uh,...yeah...right..
ET, are you sure there's not some tribalistic tendencies to Obama's narcissism?
Perhaps he's a narcissistic tribalist. Or maybe he's
a tribalistic, narcissistic, socialistic Marxist.
The crackpot possibilities are endless.

TA-DAH!
Severn Cullis-Suzuki and Elizabeth May.
'Anyone else smell a rat here? This Charter is an extreme, new-age initiative which plans to replace Noah's Ark by a Rats' Raft and the Ten Commandments by Gaia's Guidelines.
I can assure you that a society based on Judeo-Christian values of love-your-neighbour-as-yourself is a kinder, gentler, saner society than the one being proposed by Strong/Suzuki/May and Co.
If the Librano$ get back into power, you can be sure that this Earth Charter Initiative will be getting a lot of Canadian funding ... from Canadian taxpayers ... most of whom won't have a clue that they've just jumped on the Rats' Raft Bandwagon.

Whether or not people have the collective responsibility for the current administration’s blunders, they will without a doubt collectively suffer its consequences.
