It's a judge gone crazy again. Ever hear of a woman being punished for throwing a little tiny ciggie lighter at a man and causing no harm at all? Well, if it was the other way around, well, the man, he's in big trouble...

A penis: Guilty.

No penis: Not guilty.

Well, what we don't know may be the most important part. His prior record, his history of violence and any court orders against him.

You can add snowballs to the list of assault weapons. A teenage kid in a nearby town was charged with assault with a weapon for throwing a snowball at another kid.

Be funny to get a truck load of empty lighters and dump them at the doorstep of this judge's court house. Using 'empty' so they couldn't find any reason to levy charges of leaving a 'bomb' etc., just littering.

With my legal experience I acquired a restraining order against my X.....didn't work....on night she busted the door in and took a swing at me....busted a bone in my hand....defensive wound....OPP showed up and arrested me....

When they calmed down and re read the ORDER to specify to the JP in what manner I breached the ORDER....they came along and asked all manner of questions as to why a guy would get a Restraining ORDER against a woman.....

Break....enter....theft...assault...vandalism...

Ya can't live with them and ya can't hit back....

Oh yeah....they contributed to my retirement fund..........

It seems the Police SOP for Ontario at that point was:

If called to a "domestic" and a Restraining ORDER is involved ALWAYS arrest the man....don't leave him in the house.......

I think folks are too quick to get hitched these days, without the benefit of slowly getting to know one another over a long period of time, as was more commonly (and properly) done in the olden days. Folks need to know that there's nothing wrong with not having a "main squeeze", that it doesn't matter how they look socially to be "alone". It's better to be "alone" than to be living with/married to a hellish banshee...

Besides, for us guys, if we move too quickly with the girl and she turns out to be pure evil, well, who's going to care about us? The leftist-dominated state apparatus hates us for having willies and balls, as if that was such a horrible, unforgivable thing to be born with! We're clearly at a great disadvantage wrt equality before the law (in practice under the current state apparatus) compared to women, who can easily get away with the worst things, given a leftist-ideologue judicial activist deciding the fate of the parties...

Sasquatch, I've long wondered what they teach at police academies these days.

Are youthful recruits and rookies on the beat brainwashed? Are they indoctrinated with unconstitutional bigotry and double standards, instructed to disregard equality before the law regardless of whatever group membership?

I do worry that police academies have been taken over by Liberal Fascists and that police are brainwashed into being Liberal Fascists themselves. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm right.

Might be time to impose sensitivity training on those who control the academies... and remedial reeducation for those officers who were falsely indoctrinated by same.

This reminded me of a fellow I used to work with. About once a month he would come into work just dead tired. His girlfriend would come home after closing the bars and start hitting him while he was asleep. Then she would phone the police. The police would come and remove him from his own house and drive him to the Salvation Army where he would get a couple hours sleep and then come to work. He would get the same cops a lot of the time and they felt bad for him, but, the rule is you always remove the man from the scene no matter what.

Eventually he got her moved out but that was tough. He had to live in the basement for a couple months.
