After listening to some hiphop 'artist' on Huckabee last night defend the offensive (if a whitey used them) words the black males use while loving up their women, you know that in that 'culture' anything goes. Women are to be degraded, insulted and submissive. The only difference to that 'other culture' is that their women can show as much skin as they wish.

Again turning "news" into dramatic entertainment, a soap-opera of (allegedly) real life... if the story is for real, that is.

Funny how I don't see the Hard-Left FemiNazis shrilly raising, yet again, the "violence against women" alarm in this case. Fascinating. Wonder if it's because of a little thing called "skin color"? I guess the FemiNazis are racists, then.

Why is the Big Media continuing to cover this story? Why do we need to know? We know that some couples have violence within their relationship, no doubt. Why do they need to obsess over a reputedly bisexual singer and her allegedly happy-fisted squeeze? Sensationalism???

I say the Big Media is trying to get readers/viewers/listeners to patronize their service/product by spewing these celebrity-soap-opera dramas to keep some folks addicted to the coverage, keep coming back, effectively, hopefully keeping advertisers paying to have this audience inundated with their messages...

It's all about making money, folks. That's what the Big Media does. They could care less about providing boring "news" without the storytelling, the drama, the entertainment, the stuff they believe brings in the ad dollars...

Hey, Big Media... there's all kinds of bad stuff Obama's doing. Why don't you investigate, ask hard questions and not accept B.S. for an answer? Oh, that's right... he's a Democrat, so then any bad stuff's ok in your book.

This sort of story... used to be the province of the National Enquirer, didn't it? Guess the Enquirer is now obsolete, being pushed aside by the mainstream media...

It is after all just culture. Honor killings and genital mutilation should go along way for the new arrivals, once we’ve been “tuned in” to what’s really cool.

I caught some of the Obama Worship Show (aka Grammy Awards) the other week & these two were 'performing'. Have to admit that this Rihanna chick has a tremendous singing voice. Her boyfriend displayed all the talent and personality of a dehydrated turd.

The only really good part of that stupid show was Robert Plant & Alison Krauss performing. Krauss is hot!!!

They once published a study about 20 years ago in quebec, and it revealed that over 60 % of women who finally get out of a bad relationship were they were physically abused, end up with another man who also physically abuses them.

If you are honest and intelligent you have no choice but to conclude that part of the problem - at least for that 60 % of abused women - was the woman.

Either they were attracted to dominant agressive violent men and/or those women were violent themselves and were the cause of domestic violence.

Rhiana returned with her "abuser"; either she likes abusive violent men and/or is/was the cause of the abuse and violence.

I rest my case.

Beating up the girlfriend is not news unless the media can get some milage out of it "National Inquirer" style. The problem unfortunatly, is a problem that is as old as humanity. What perplexes me is why these victims keep on going back.
Rihanna is a lovely, talented entertainer who can't use a lot of the normal excuses given by victims: "Nobody else will love me", "I can't afford to leave him" or the ever popular " I'll stay for the kids". So why is she going back? A lot of the people I know never know why they go back (again and again).
As an engineering type of guy I can usually explain stuff that goes wrong but things that happen between someone's ears is a mystery to me.

It takes two to tangle. At age of 16, I was involved with an abusive man. He never did hit me, and the reason? I didn't allow him to. But I did experience part of the 'process', which involves a period of time when the perpetrator conditions or sets you up for allowing the physical abuse. Here's how it goes: Wild outbursts of temper initially, followed by contrition and small gifts. The outbursts escalate, finally in my case to my boyfriend stating that 'not now, not tomorrow, but sometime soon, I'll get so mad that I'll hit you'. My response? Are you kidding? You're not going to hit me because I'm breaking up with you. My silence would have been permission. Sorry for this long tale, but I'm convinced that prior to the violence, the stage has been set and the woman is responsible for allowing herself to be abused. You wouldn't stand for it if somebody you knew or a complete stranger just up and hit you. As far as I'm concerned, Rianna and Chris Brown deserve each other.
