Obama will counteract that with misinformation, manipulation of emotions of fear and hope, and he'll move into the populist media..to do this. At the moment, he's setting up a class warfare. Watch for the racist one.

The next thing Americans can do, is to insist that their Congress stop and think. And read every bill before voting on it.

The next...in 2010 - vote the Democrats out of the House and Senate.
And in 2012, get rid of Obama.

But don't think that Obama and his Gang won't fight every step of the way!

I can easily forsee a Revolution taking place in the States before long, with jobless blue-collar workers taking it out on the wealthy, en masse, with the police & army incapable of protecting them.

Isn't this how ACORN managed to play a role in forcing banks to make loans that made no sense to make in the first place?

The real issue here is the debt being saddled on the US taxpayer.

Figure it out ... if every cent of the $165 million was recovered by the US treasury and redistributed, it would mean just over 50 cents per US citizen.

Since most of the bonuses were given to the London, England office, it may mean 25 cents per person.

What a lot of effort to try and get 50 cents. It makes no sense.

What things like this leads to is something I witnessed back in 1981 my first year in the army going throught boot camp. First it was initiated by the Warrent instructer by suggesting that Harvey the big white rabbit should appear one night and sort out those who were'nt pulling thier weight. Everyone knew that Harvey the big white rabbit meant, blanket party. Well it started with going after the real slackers and shit heads within the platoon and when they ran out of them they made excuses to go after anyone else. Now you take an organization with a bunch of un educated dead beats from accorn who think society owes them regardless you have a problem. The folks who stalked up on guns and ammo were'nt stupid.
I have allways believed that the Capt is responsable with what goes on his ship. When a bunch of Officers sends up paper work that they themselves hav'nt read and the Capt sighns them without reading the fine detailes,he goes down with the ship. ACORN is organizing these 'attack the wealthy' as a counterfoil to the many Tea Parties emerging across the country, (see Michelle Malkin's blog) which protest the Stimulus Bill and its Obama-Pork.

The Tea Parties are protesting the out-of-control government spending, the take-over of industries and banks by the govt, the spending of taxpayer money on pork projects, etc. Signs include: Spread my Work Ethic Not My Wealth..."America is Steeped in Debt'.. And OBAMA: One Big Awful Mistake America.

These protests number in the hundreds and in the thousands. In LA, there were 15K, but the LA Times refused to report it.

So, to counter these, which the MSM tries to ignore, ACORN is setting up 'attack the wealthy' protests...and Obama is zipping off to be cheered at Town Hall Meetings and Late Nite TV. He is distancing himself from Congress...and he'll lay the blame on them in an instant.

He SIGNED the stimulus bill; he's ignoring this.
And HIS Treasury Dept, apparently, called Dodd and told him to put the bonuses in the bill. [He had to, anyway, they were legal]. But, Dodd could have said: No - we'll have to add another clause that the bonus amount reduces..or adds..or..

But, remember, Obama threatened Congress that 'the sky will fall'..unless they passed it zippo fast.

Hottest...thing...ever!

He spits out Democratic talking points...she lets him have it.

He tries to defend their actions with very weak arguments...she lets him have it.

He says she's twisting facts, etc...she lets him have it.

Just awesome watching him squirm while she 'muddies' the issue with real facts and information. Not emotions...well besides her passionate rebuttals.

I think the issue was ACORN helping with the cencus whilst being investigated and\or convicted for voter fraud, etc.

Why are people so jealous of what other people have? This busload of people, for the most part, have not worked either at their education or work to raise themselves to a level where they can realize the American dream. Yet those who do achieve their dreams are now being treated like lepers.
I do not believe that the American people will go along with this mode of thinking for long. Already, the Dodd's, Frank's, Reid's and Pelosi's of this Congress are starting to feel the backlash from the American people.
We are in for one heck of a roller-coaster ride over the next few years. But I do think that our TOTUS, teleprompter of the United States, will be marginalized by the next election and things will start to stabilize.

Kinda funny to see a black president encourage lynch mobs... but then, Obambi's people didn't live through all the nasty racism American blacks experienced, seeing that his father was a real African (whose ancestors probably sold other africans into slavery)

Watched "O" on Leno - he reached for Leno's coffee cup just when camera was zooming/panning out for a commercial break - Leno pointed out to "O" that his coffee cup was on the coffee table. After Leno seemed to have caught "O" off guard with the "swing state" comment regarding his choices to win the tournament "O" flashed the subliminal "L" looser hand signal toward Leno twice right after Leno's comments. "O" can not tolerate even the slightest hint of political maneuvering, even coming from a comedian, regarding his actions or choices. I feel for Michelle.

He will continue to set himself up as a the World's healer, has already stated numerous times he is bringing about a new world order. My guess is he will fake his own demise and resurrection right b4 our eyes on live digital TV. People will believe he is the second coming himself and the real tyranny will begin.

ACORN runs a mob-style "protection" racket known within the radical direct-action group as the "muscle for the money" program, a lawyer told the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties today.

Lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh filed an unsuccessful lawsuit last year against ACORN, specifically, a court injunction in Pennsylvania against ACORN's voter registration efforts in last year's presidential campaign. (A transcript of the Oct. 29 hearing in Moyer v. ACORN is available here.)

Heidelbaugh says that ACORN, which I profiled in the November issue of Capital Research Center's Foundation Watch, has provided protest-for-hire services and extracted donations from the targets of demonstrations by shaking down those targets mafia-style. The taxpayer-subsidized ACORN network, which owes millions of dollars in back taxes, also played a major role in the subprime mortgage mess that has undermined Americans' support for free market problem-solving and set off a worldwide chain of financial troubles.

Something also tells me that most "protests" are really fake! I'm beginning to suspect that most protests are actually put on by "community organizers" (what Obama was before getting into politics) gathering brainless young thugs looking for something "fun" and "cool" and "rebellious" to do, regardless of the phony cause (it's always Leftist).

I suspect that disaffected, bored, angry youth are being exploited by "progressive" community organizers for the purpose of advancing the ultra-radically-extreme agenda of the "Progressive" movement, which, I believe, is often influenced by foreign enemies' agent-infiltrators-rabble-rousers whose job is to harm the interests of the Free World, especially America.

Of course, a Big-Media-friendly spin might be "Ah, the Obama W.H. is just trying to divert attention from its own inept screwing-up on the whole multi-trillion-dollar bailout file by demonizing the private sector/capitalism as a bunch of monsters or something."

Actually, with a little bit of luck, it might turn into something quite different from the 1917 Revolution in Russia. It could in fact be that the socialists are actually pushed back under their rocks by the libertarian portion of the US population. The "tea party" crowd....the "don't tread on me" crowd. Let's hope.

"CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY"

* Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called "crisis strategy" or "Cloward-Piven Strategy," as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when "the rest of society is afraid of them," Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would "the rest of society" accept their demands.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven's early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. "Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules," Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system's failure to "live up" to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist "rule book" with a socialist one."

He'd give us kiddies a lecture, during which he'd branch off into some kind of social justice fantasy that just left me goggling at them. This happened two or three times to me. They were not even faintly amenable to reason, contrary evidence, or probably even a 2x4 to the cranium from what I could see. These were six, seven figure income guys, not some knob that sewed up drunks in the emergency room. Us little kiddie students would sit in the back and just look at each other with our mouths open. It was certainly educational, I'll say.

So now we see these same super rich New York kahunas disappearing under the wheels of the Obama Express. Awww, I'm so sad!
