You can be a racist hater, so long as you hate the "right" people: whites, Christians, Jews, men, conservatives, AGW deniers, talk radio hosts, etc, etc.

As a long time student of World War II, I have never understood the mythical connection between conservatism and National Socialism.

Does Kirk Makin get brownie points for each time he writes 'right-wing' in his articles?

Probably as many brownie points as CBC TV gets for excludung the 'left-wing' tag on any Huff-Po 'experts' they chat with.

Which raises the question how the hell Quebec gets away with being a province that is:

1. Nationalist, and highly so
2. Socialist.

Well, thank god this ordeal is over for poor David Ahenakew, O.C. Hopefully now they'll restore his Order of Political Correctness, on a trial basis, in case he ever says anything "-ist" again.

I never have found out WHY Ahenakew was given the so-called honour in the first place, and so will assume it was because he was Native, and the government had a quota of OC's for visible minorities.

In my experience, most "Jew-haters" are repeating rhetoric from a source that echoes their anger at the world, and have never even met a Jew, let alone suffered at the hands of a Jew.

And some have said anti-Israel isn't the same as anti-Jew, so I assume they aren't aware that the majority of the population of Israel is Jewish.

Most demonstrations I've seen are carried out by the brain dead, in the name of "whatever" cause.

Extreme nationalism (adherence to traditional national conventions) is a conservative ideology, in as far as that extremism is separated from collectivization but socialism means extreme collectivization and there fore National Socialism is the extreme collectivization of a national identity.

It's like the left needs the right to have something just as evil as communism inherent within it so that they can make some excuse for their ideological end-game

Liberal Fascism - great book which describes the whole political spectrum in terms which make sense. I never understood, nor did I ever get a proper explanation from my junior high teachers, why obviously left-wing parties were refered to as right-wing.

Our most fundamental right is again under threat by the 'Human Rights Industry', that right being the right of free speech. Without the right to express ourselves freely and without government coercion, all other 'human rights' ultimately become meaningless.

And Barbara Hall and the Ontario Human Rights Commission want to take away our right to free expression. In the usual soothing bureaujargon, she wants to control the content of newspapers, magazines and the internet, in order to "help bring about more consistency across all jurisdictions in Canada,".

This is simply Orwellian babble for the word censorship. Again, listen to the echos of Orwell as she says, "The media's freedom of expression comes with a duty to "address issues of hate expression, and [media] should do so either voluntarily through provincial press councils, or through statutory creation of a national press council with compulsory membership,"

In the natural world, 'freedom' and 'duty' are antithetical, they are opposites. Likewise her ominous warning that you can either volunteer to submit or we will make it compulsory. Even as she threatens to squelch free speech, Hall follows up by saying, "At the same time, the OHRC recognizes the media have full freedom and control over what they publish."

It's either one or the other. You have free speech or you don't.

Make no mistake about it. The 'human rights' industry is just that - an ersatz, government created entity that as society evolved, found itself less and less relevant. There were very few complaints about discrimination for jobs or housing, so with the encouragement of certain 'victims groups', they began to branch out and test their powers. And until they began overreaching themselves with victims who refused to roll over - Mclean's Magazine, Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant come to mind - they were getting away with it, albeit under the radar of the public.

Now they want to entrench this power grab by weight of law. It was Sec. 13.1 of the Human Rights Act that was being abused and which turned the light of public scrutiny upon them, so now they want to play 'let's make a deal' - we'll give up Sec. 13 if you give us ultimate power over all printed and electronic communications across Canada. Some deal.

You just know you have to fight this censorship proposal when a man like Elmasry - who publicly stated that "all Jews over 18 are legitimate targets", wants to inhibit our right to speak out against cultural/religious values that are antithetical to all of Canadian history.

It's difficult to contemplate who is more dangerous, Mohammed Elmasry and his anti-Semitism or Barbara Hall and her anti-Canadianism and as a citizen of Canada, I'm insisting that she and her cohorts be told in no uncertain terms that she will not be given the draconian power she so badly craves.

Ive been a SDA fan amd occasional entrant in a few of my favorite arguements, but this latest aperithide nonsense has raised the one little hackle I had left. A bunch of rough and ready homesteaders moved in, and it seemed like twenty or thirty days later they were growing crops all over the place, even found time to put together a few rifles, and sent some guy to Europe to buy an old Spitfire while waiting for their Mirages, Which were earmarked for South America or Luxemborgh or someplace like that.THEN THE GAMES BEGAN. One after another, sometimes two together, the old guys started to attack the borders of this new sandbox, saying that it was a mistake and they
wanted it back.The Jews were busy, so they only allotted 6 days here, 11 there, and in a few years had a few more squares of desert, and a hell of a lot of respect. It has been realitivally quiet there until recently a neighbor has been sending letters of complaint and apparently wanted some land back. Unfortuately, not able to afford aircraft, or apparently a mail service, they enclosed these letters in a surplus container that had a propensity to disentigrate somehow. The IDF picked for their answer, face to face discussions. There is a road that goes between the West Bank and Gaza which I suppose could be termed "Muslims only" at a stretch, but then Israel has the whole suicide bomber, Katusha rocket issue to attend to.
