As a father of a CF member currently serving in Afghanistan, I would love to send a message to these traitors. However I am not tech savvy enough to understand from the post and the link it takes us to how to go about reporting these servers to the appropriate authorities. Some instructions would be appreciated. I would also like to see how we can launch a Criminal code treason complaint against Taliban Jack every time he opens his mouth about Afghanistan. Talk about aiding and abetting and offering support to the enemy.

That will take you to a form you can fill out on Amray's web site. Amray is the company that owns the computers that the Taliban is renting to host their shahamat.com web site.

You want to type in your name, your email address, and then in the third Direct to: box click on the down arrow and select Abuse @ AMRAY. That will send your message to the abuse department.

In the big box under Message:, type what you want to say to Amray. You might want to include a link to Jawa's web site.

Remember, most of these web computer rental places allow people to rent and set up web sites via a completely automated process - it's almost a certainty that no one at AMRAY knows anything about shahamat.com, so be polite, but firm. Let them know that their service is being used to host web sites that are official mouthpieces of a terrorist organization in violation of Canadian law, and ask them to take down the site and suspend the account.

You might want to check out certain Sections of the Canadian Criminal Code (from the Canadian Dept. of Justice website):

Part II, Offences Against Public Order, Section 46.1, 46.2 "Treason and other Offences against the Queen’s Authority and Person" and Part II, Section 59 "Sedition".

Section 46.1, "46. (1) Every one commits high treason who, in Canada,... "para (c)...assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are."

Now, would that apply to any Canadian who knowingly, intentionally hosts a Taliban website? Or to any Canadian who goes to Af-stan and becomes a Jihadi?

The referenced section of the CC of C is exactly the clause that comes to my mind when I hear Taliban Jack and Burqa Dawn Black speak about Afghanistan. It certainly should apply to anyone continuing to host a Taliban website after being informed of it, or to any citizen that decides to join the jihad over there.
I have sent my message to the offending Canadian web host, have not heard from them yet. We will see what action they take, if any.

Not to worry, the Canadian Human Rights staff will have them up on charges before nightfall. Or, maybe not.

E-mails have already gone to some folks in Ottawa about this. Like Kate says, let's see what happens over the next few days...
