Really silly little gaffes like this should be meaningless, but, when you considered the uproar over "mis-under-estimated" and fool me, blah,blah,blah, it is fair game on Obama's 57 states and Pelosi's 500 million Americans.

She also declared that the U.S. needed to annex Canada for our oil...support that too do ya? Coulter is a bigger tool than Pelosi merely because she's halfway competent and people actually listen to her (sort of).

Maybe we should be a little kinder about Americans who don't know anything about Canada. When prominent leftard Americans don't know anything about the *U.S.* why should they know anything about anywhere else?

That's not the point. The point IS, that when conservatives mis-speak they are ridiculed endlessly and called 'morons', but when liberals say such things as "57 states" they are immediately exonerated and their foulups are designated as 'honest errors' by those same 'moron-callers'.

It's the hypocrisy that irritates us; that and the apparent inability of the left to even RECOGNIZE their own hypocrisy.
