while I agree she had it coming, ezra probably should have been more careful with the words and phrases he used. Getting into the muckraking with this dogmatist - and a libelous one at that -hurts his argument somewhat.

Having stated that, Ezra has been living in a pretty charged evironment lately, and it is understandable that he would go 'off' when he was attacked the way he was.

No, Andrea, feminist "activist" (a moniker almost as meaningless as "community organizer"), has not objected to the "Piss Christ" that so offends Christians, I guess because she'd consider Christians "an historically privileged" group. That's Charter-speak for groups our new enlightened classes have deemed need to be marginalized because they don't fit into their new Utopia.

The Andreas of the world blithely and frequently use words like "villify" expressly to marginalize individuals like Ezra. In most cases, their injudicious use of words goes unchallenged. So, this smackdown was justified and so satisfying.

Unfortunately, Andrea's friends will cheer her on for taking on that nasty Ezra Levant and she will have learned nothing from this exchange. The fact that she thinks Ezra was "aggressive" against Muslims by publishing the cartoons that were causing carnage and mayhem around the world, rather than noting the aggressiveness of the Islamofascists who were marauding, murdering, and incinerating tells us volumes about the appalling disconnect in her thinking. Her priorities are all wrong, but don't try to tell her: She's in the vanguard, or so she thinks.

Well, we'll know who to blame when we're all wearing burkas: the stupid, willfully ignorant Andreas of the world.

What a loser she is. I find it hard to believe a so called Canadian feminist is defending a religious cult that still believe females provoke their own rapes. How twisted the left are.

We started watching Coren Live last night, but, not knowing Ezra would be back, and finding Andrea her usual INSUFFERABLE, totally unintelligent self, we switched off quite early on. Seeing Ezra push back this morning was sweet.

I don't know why Coren continues to give this self-important dimwit a bully pulpit. IMO, it demeans his show. And, if Andrea is on, providing her usual mean-spirited, ignorant drivel, we switch off.

Ezra’s made our day. Andrea got just what she deserved. This reminds me of a French aphorism: “What a naughty dog. He bites. Yes, after he’s been kicked.” Andrea is the offensive one: altogether self-important and niggardly about anyone or any idea that doesn’t fit her stunted, closed, feminazi mind. It was a pleasure to see someone really take her on and to see her try to sputter and squeak her way out.

(At least if she ends up in a burqa, we won't have to look at her pinched and smirky face.)

The show is on the CTS channel and in rural Ottawa I receive it (by grabbing the signal out of the air for free with a bunny ear antenna) on UHF Channel 32.

I watch this show quite often because a lot of the time there is great debate and both sides put forward good arguments. I enjoy listening to people I don't agree with if they put forward interesting points. BUT...I cannot watch the show when one of these 2 women is on as they just seem so stupid and they never bring anything to the conversation except the same old NDP talking points. I especially despise that guy from the Hamilton Spectator. I live in Hamilton now and there is so much the Spectator could write about that they choose to just ignore. I hope Coren changes his panel members soon. I'd hate to see it go off the air but I just can't watch these people.

I was actually encouraged by this, hear me out. Ms Calver was clinging to the belief, a wrong one, that they were defenders of womens rights yada yada. She was defensive about the idea that they had failed or abandoned the position.

The encouragement is, that at some point she will recognize they aren't, although she apparently earnestly wants to be. So maybe, just maybe the pricipled ones will recognize that their beliefs arent supported by their actions and they'll change their actions. It is a slow process but we all know former Liberals, who have the epiphany that they are no longer fighting for what they believe in and that those beliefs are being defended by others, who they formerly opposed.

The "clowns" who charged Ezra in the first place gave us the best spokesman for Human Rights and Freedom of Speech Canada ever had. Ezra's voice is being heard and they've gone back into their holes.

It could be for balance, exposure or aggravation, probably all three.

Andrea Calver accused Ezra of 'vilifying Muslims' and seemed stunned when both Ezra and Michael Coren insisted that she provide proof of her assertion. She babbled up with one example, his publication of the Denmark Cartoons.

But those cartoons weren't vilifying Muslims! First, they were a 'newsworthy item' because they were being used, along with extra images put in by radical imams, to cause government-induced riots in the ME.

And, those cartoons were a legitimate critique of Islamic fascism, which sees Islam used as a front for terrorism.

Ms Calver, of course, has no understanding of these two points and falls into the typical leftist relativism and circular justificiation that 'what another culture does, be it terrorism or child marriage, is perfectly acceptable because it's their culture'. Cultures live in isolate cocoons.

Oh, and blames 'the West' or whatever, for any 'bad behaviour' that seeps out of the folds of the cocoon into our daily lives.

I've watched Coren for quite a few years now on satellite. This andrea culver is really nothing more than a sack of hammers. No reality going on in her mind. None. She talks about rights then suports the people who would take them away from her. marilyn churley is no different.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to comment on this stuff. Two thirds of this country have drank the koolaid. You can't talk to them because they refuse to think outside the box. They won't listen. They put their hands over their ears and yell, la la la la I can't hear you. They're like spoiled children. Very frustrating.
