I don't like the guy much, but he's right this time.

O'Reilley is a quality guy who many would be surprised how liberal he is. And he tries very hard to be fair, tough and entertaining - not an easy thing to do. Many on the left don't like his 'pull-the-scab-off' manner but i would challenge anyone on the left to watch him for a week or two and find concrete evidence of him manipulating a story.

For christ's sakes Helen Thomas does look like a witch.

well, thank you for that "Viewer Advisory" please, no more witches for the next few days... my eyes really hurt.

no sarc.

Our Soldiers are killing innocent people; are the Taliban hiding in Pakistan; poor Helen Thomas is practicing one of the basic tenets of Karl Marx. And no, Karl is not one of the brothers.

"1). Karl Marx was heavily influenced by the philosophies of George W.F. Hegel to whom we can attribute the following maxim: "The Truth is Relative." Therefore, Hegelian philosophy will argue the possibility that 2+2 = 4 can also mean 2+2 = 3, or 9... There are no absolute truths. This was a mind blowing concept at the time, for"

Feminist organizations are fronts for leftists - they always have been and they always will be.

Am I allowed to notice that Courtney sounded whiney?
I like the way she ramped up the whining, with the very subtle "pleading" body language, at the end when she realized she didn't have a leg to stand on. My 12 year old daughter has already mastered that technique.

I totally agree with Bill O Rielly, they did not give Sarah Palin the same respect. Hypocrites all of them!!

Courtney "we all know what a witch looks like..."

Wow...

Not profiling or being discriminatory there...

Sam was a hot looking witch. So was her cousin.

Zing! He called them on their hypocricy. Her blank stare when he layed it on the line says it all.
They will not 'stand up' for all women, only liberal lefty wymin.

He made agreat point: Palin was skewered, and the feminazie libbers sat their perfumed asse on their manicured hands, silently clucking to themselves.

I was getting really into this, then the clip ended. He wasn't done....

Well said Gord. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Never will you hear a single word from this organization, and many others, unless it has an opportunity to attack a man or a conservative.

It's absolutely pathetic the response of womens groups over "Honour Killings". NOTHING!! Zippo!!

Useless frauds that give women a bad name.

I didn't find the witch remark humourous, as I was raised to respect my elders.
That being said, I think it's fair to say that she is well past the point of being relevant (if people still want to pay her, hey, it's their dime). As for Bill's description of the hypocrisy from the left, he is bang on.
Too often people use Bill's sandpaper personality as a distraction from his main points, which more times than not, are bang on.

obviously he is a "wiccanist".

Feminist, are the handmaiden's of the left, make no mistake about it. Their silence on the atrocities suffered by females here and abroad are proof of that.

When confronted with logic and facts they shrivel like worms on a sidewalk on a hot summer day.

The silly old leftist bitch, does look and sound like a witch. Suck it up buttercup.

Ridiculing conservatives = good-natured fun, let's hope a catchy meme starts and spreads.

Poking fun at liberals = mean-spirited, vicious attack. Must be vilified, get-all-your-buddies-together type counterattack against the evil, dominating Bushitler-like insult and affront to all decent, honest, freedom-loving...

Haven't we learned this already from the MSM?

This all goes back to the notion that "the press" supports the underdog so as to provide some balance to any situation.

I don't see any balance (unless 9 lefties equals one conservative) and it's gotten pretty shameless. But shouting the same thing over and over does tend to sink into the softer brains, and that appears to be what they're going for.

What's Kate's quote again about shouting back at the radio?

I liked Bernies reaction..."men need humourless feminists like fish need bicycles!"

I challenge anyone who considers themselves to be conservative to watch him for a week or two and not want to stuff his big governement, anti-business teeth down his throat.

Helen Thomas should be the poster child for Planned Parenthood. With the caption, 'Careful where you stick it - you might make one of these'.

Funny thing - I never thought about her "looking like a witch" until the feminists used that phrase.

So just WHO is calling her a witch????

Be careful what mud you try to defend ladies - it just might splash all over you.

She had the left side of her ass handed to her on a platter.

I'd be interested in Big Zero's response to the questions. Anybody catch them?

Outstanding! Made my morning. Kudos to her for showing up too..we need more of this public, open debate!

Harry R...perhaps we won't be able to find out.In a search for his reply I found this interesting article.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/deadlineusa/2009/feb/11/obama-administration-usa

I'm amazed that we even have a copy of his lie wrt to Caterpillar employment situation. It seems the message is being controlled.Surprised?Didn't think so.

O'Reilly is right. Sarah Palin was criticized for many things that had nothing to do with her politics. The left never said a thing.

I switched from CNN to FOX in my Starchoice bundle the very day our benevolent Canadian gatekeepers, CRTC, in their wisdom finally allowed Canadians to view FOX News.
O'Reilly has been my eight o'clock viewing except for last night toggling between TVO to watch Kathy Shaidle stick it to the Marxists on Paikin's "Agenda", which I very rarely watch.
Even better than O'Reilly is Laura Ingraham, now there is a true conservative!
We just don't have them in Canadian TV do we?

Objective Journalism is dead. These so called professional journalists are nothing more than pandering prostitutes. O'Reilly, Lou Dobbs and Wolf Blitzer, along with all others consider themselves celebrities therefore their opinions matter. The great unwashed masses of urbanites believe this. If O'Reilly thought for a second that he could get Thomas's gig at the white house he would don his blue dress or become a cunning linguist and do a command performance for Thomas.

Geez I was thinking "somebody hurry up and splash water on that thing", and then Bill said it! I love it!

"Knock the music off"

Towards the end as the music starts playing
( probably because they are running out of time and that is the cue that O'Reilly should wrap it up ) O'reilly says without half a second of hesitation,

"knock the music off".

It is litte things like that that separates the men from the boys.

I already have a lot of respect for O'Reilly but little things like that makes me like him even more.

Feminists, leftists, intellectuals, the politically correct crowd have all made men who have a spine, who have "a pair" a race in danger of extinction, and O'Reilly is one of the best specimens still around.

That does not mean he is always right on issues
- although he is most of the time - but his attitude is certainly 100% right.

No I'm not a woman, nor am I gay, I'm just a man who is not ashamed of his manliness despite what my culture has tried since the 1970s to brainwash me into believing and I simply love to see manliness is not dead.

"knock off the music"

You would never hear that on ABC,NBC,CBS, etc...and certainly not on CBC.

Bill O'Reilly, I salute you!

I wonder if the Women's Media Center can be convinced to petition on behalf of Aqsa Parvez?

A classic bit by O'Rielly, and he was right to complement the naive young women for her bravery...unless she actually was stupid enough not to know that was coming.

It was entertaining, because he said what a lot of us were thinking, but it reminded me of a "canned hunt", where pretend hunters shoot tame "wild" game in a pasture. Not exactly sporting, if you know what I mean.

That fembot was the only one of the two who basically said that Helen Thomas looked like a witch. O'Reilly didn't. He said she sounded like one, which she certainly does.

And she DOES look like a witch.

The face of the left. And it ain't pretty.

I whooped when Bill said knock the music off. It was a beautiful moment for him to take a breath before tearing back into that little feminist twit.

Its girls like her that make me ashamed to be a woman, and its leather coats like Thomas that make me worry about the state of all of North America in a few years. Thank God I can still see Sarah Palin prove that women can have it all (kids, power and shotguns) and get it all because they worked for it and not because they whined that they deserve it.

Palin 2012 Y'all!

Just thought of this after I hit post: Has anyone proven that Thomas ISNT a witch? Cause, Bill is right, she sounds a lot like one, and the twit is right cause she looks a lot like one, and from what I've heard Thomas say, she talks a lot like one.
Can we test for this? I've got a large scale if someone can get me a duck.

"Even better than O'Reilly is Laura Ingraham, now there is a true conservative!"

Agreed

I don't consider Bill to be a conservative, nor does he. As I've mentioned before, the word conservative is often defined by the "left". The left decides what conservative IS (ie Bill O'Reilly, John McCain ect); then, they have the power to call real conservatives "extremists". This is the same tactic in reverse they use to normalize their positions, calling welfare tax breaks, and calling criminals victims ect. This is why we are getting our asses handed to us. JMO

Bill calls himself a "traditionalist". He is definitely no liberal, although he does try to be fair and balanced on his show, which is more than I can say about anything on the CBC.

To paraphrase that famous mythbuster...

Bill, I reject your reality and insert my own

Bill did not call her a witch, but strongly implied she was one.

Personally, I don't have a problem with that, as that is the first image she invokes to me when I see her, but let's not fool ourselves.

When someone references the "Witch of the East" and "pour water on her" that can only invoke one image, that of the movie The Wizard of Oz.

Come on. He got as close to calling her a witch without, technically, calling her one.

Show some balls, Bill, and man up to what you said.

I have never seen a happy feminist in my life...they do not smile. Ever!

"Viewer Advisory: This video contains Helen Thomas images, which some viewers may find offensive."

"For christ's sakes Helen Thomas does look like a witch."

"please, no more witches for the next few days... my eyes really hurt."

"The silly old leftist bitch, does look and sound like a witch. Suck it up buttercup."

"And she DOES look like a witch. The face of the left. And it ain't pretty."

Reasoned. Intelligent. Intellectual. Thought out. Rational.

Thank you for another great debate at SDA where, as always, superficial features reign supreme. I can only hope Soccermom, Kate, and the other "faces of the right" will continue to be pretty when they reach the age of 88. I somehow doubt it.

If Witch is the worst that Thomas is called, then she's lucky. Right wing women are called MUCH worse, and they dont have the feminist media coming to their defense. Frankly, I have more respect for the right wing women simply because they dont have these shrill protesters coming to their defence, they dont need the defenders, they're stronger than that.

Also, happy feminist is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp, because happy and feminist cannot peacefully coexist (take a women's studies class, a true definition of a feminist is a single bag on her period, they become feminists because they need to blame someone for their problems, and God forbid it be themselves)

"I have never seen a happy feminist in my life...they do not smile. Ever!"

Yes, they do invoke the image of a grumpy old man.

I'm not worried about being called an 'ist'. If you remember that old joke about the six ages of women, then Helen Thomas is Australia, and I have no qualms about saying so.

The Wicked Witch of the East is so old school feminist. It seems the new feminist is Jan Brady, spinning her Marsha, Marsha, Marsha-isms to suit the left.

Bill was right, feminist are just the mouthpiece for the left. They are being used. You would think feminists, of all people, would notice that.

So what if he hinted at her witch-resembling voice, and we discuss the fact that she resembles a witch.
The point you are missing Blank is that O'Reilly was able to use this very incident to focus on that 'wymin's media group' and call them out on their hypocracy! The do not speak for all women and certainly not conservative women.

But she DOES look like a witch. Next guest please!

Bill O'Reilly's IMPLICATION about Helen Thomas--who does, indeed, look very much like the common idea of a witch--was right on. And the left's usual, utter hypocrisy, when it comes to ad hominem attacks against their own, is laughable: far more such attacks are publicly made against conservatives BY the left and none of them ever seem to be the least bit troubled by that fact.

Little Miss Feminist Goodie Two Shoes was soundly--and deservedly--put in her place by Bill. (I think, however, he was really talking about the Wicked Witch of the West, not the East. But, they were sisters!)

Helen Thomas has dished it out for decades. Her comments and questions at the press conference were laughable and the O’Reilly hit-back altogether deserved. The feminists need to toughen up. What two-faced cry babies.

It is trendy to attack Sarah Palin and Anne Coulter. TMZ mad fun of Anne's body - mocking that she does not eat and is way to skinny. I did not hear this women's group come to her defense. Did they speak out on behalf of, forget her first name, that Simpson girl who they said looked fat in the media?
