Yes, I'm back. We left Chicago at 6:30 Sunday night and rolled into Delisle 25 hours later.

As you might expect, it's going to take me a day or two to bring blogging activity back up to normal. Aside from checking the Drudge Report once while I was there to reassure myself that the sky is still falling, I've been out of the current events loop completely.

Thanks again to the guest bloggers who kept the place running while I was gone - be sure to bookmark their sites and return the favour by including them in your daily stops.

In Chicago eh?? Did you run across Obama? He should have been easy to spot in the snow!

and we quietly slip by 12 mmmmmmmmilllion hits. congrates kate.

She's baaaaaaack! Special K just had a shiver, Kate. ~:D

"He should have been easy to spot in the snow!"

Words from a HR shrill implant?

Sheesh!

What you check Drudge BEFORE you check SDA?

I guess we're all wondering when the US is going to begin swirling down the Obamunist toilet bowl.

Welcome back! Ugh! What a long drive!

I appreciate your guest bloggers, BUT, lets just say you were conspicuous in your absence.
Most of the Iggy and Kinsella foolishness was well covered by Joanne at Blue Like You.
And a few Blogging Tories were picked up by NYT.

The best part of Obama's visit was seeing the two side by side, and seeing the difference. PMSH was brilliant. The American media caught on to that fact, that day and continue to notice.

I think I'd like to see a new reality series, "Extreme Bailout: Mortgage Edition" It would be hosted by Obama. Obama would pay people's defaulted loans for them. And instead of going on a shopping spree at Sears, the participants would be required to loot their new furnishings from the homes of people who aren't trying to live beyond their means.

As you might expect? I was suspecting you were bionic. Where do you get all the energy? Its good to hear you not only need some rest but are taking it. Glad you got back safely.

two sites of interest, one about the possible reluctance of the HOUSE on cap&trade, and the other on Gorebull pulling some bull from his slide show, appears some are onto him:-))))

and one more about Owebama's eligibility to be POTUS

I think "quietly" sliding past the 12mil mark shows how well established SDA is. Welcome back Kate

PUPPY PICS.I want puppy pics!!!
Welcome back,Kate.

Warren tries to blame the no-down, sub-prime woes on Bankers and PM Harper.

He pretends he never heard of Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. And Bill Clinton. Check the time lines, WK.

No-down was introduced on Willy's watch. Bankers could be prosecuted for refusing a mortgage application. The Entitlementers picketed and harassed Bankers.

Not really sure what this would provide....
Ousting BHO from the Whitehouse and installing "what's-his-name"...the VP....exchanging one empty suit for another puppet of Reid, Pelosi, Waxman etc.
It will take more than just eliminating BHO to undo this crisis.

don't ya know, the sky has already fallen.

Dear Jack Accost;

You've obviously erred in your choice of sites.
Try Rabble or the CAW site.
You'll find comfort there.

Lucy goosey(sp) is at it again eh?
Must be pretty pathetic to sit and wait to be the first poster on each thread just to pull a 'lucy'.
*chuckle
Guess public washrooms are not an option anymore?
Or been short leased due to global warming 'cause 'ya can't keep the pen flowing?
Try using Crayolas.

glad you are safe.

Soo Chicago to Deslisle via Omaha would be the long way?

What plant? With those ears, you should be able to spot him in a dark forest,at midnight, with no moon!!
Or do you figure we can't say a black man stands out in white snow??? Who's the shrill?

Quick, Justthinkin -- cover up! Your ignorance is showing!

And that ignorance would be what exactly,Fool's Gold?

: sasquatch at 3:32 PM

at the rate things travell through a court/and/or impeachment, exposure just before midterms could be heplfull, and impeachment proceedings in 2011 could be a disaster for re-election:-))))

"""With those ears, you should be able to spot him in a dark forest,at midnight, with no moon!!"""

what an embarassment you are, that was prince Andrew you saw in the bush:-)))))

"And that ignorance would be what exactly,Fool's Gold?"

Your driving force, apparently.

My driving force???? I don't work for a soon to be bailed out car company! What has driving force got to do with it?
Are you so scared,Yukon Gold, that as soon as a joke is made about about a guys colour, that happens to contrast almost perfectly with snow, you think HRC shrill?

And GYM....heh....I missed the accent.

For one thing, it's "shill". And second, you're playing the part to perfection. Thirdly, I'm done. It's not worth arguing with someone who can't piece together a coherent thought.

Bailed out car company? Wow.

Do any "community organizin'" while you were there, Kate??

Glad to have you home safe and sound! You have been missed!

Of course you are done,Yukon.Fried like goose. Can't answer my Q? Another Q for you....when is your union asking for a bailout from the Feds?Or is your's "defined"?

A union is funded by the members, and therefore doesn't require bailouts.

My company, too, is a not-for-profit. By Parliamentary act,it operates at or near break-even, and raises or lowers rates accordingly.

But thanks for asking. I'm always here to help out those who need it.

Yeah.I know how NAVCAN acts,Yukon Gold. They have carte blanche to charge what ever they feel they can to "recoup" their losses.Landing fees, navigational aids charges, etc.Extra fuel charge for baggae that was set at 140/bbl gas,now at 40,but not rescinend.Socialism at it's best.

Welcome back Kate! You were sincerely missed.

Nav Canada, which provides air traffic control services, does not charge you for fuel or landing fees. Those are charged by airlines and airports.

In case you're wondering, we also do not screen your bags, re-fill your water glasses or de-ice your plane.

Again, glad to help.

"""A union is funded by the members, and therefore doesn't require bailouts."""

jimmy hoffa was self sustaining, who'da thunk:-))))
