cknx in wingham is a repeater station, they have not had a local broadcast(news,sports,etc..)For years, They transmit all of their local news for the station out of cfpl london have for yrs. If anyone is in the station working it is just to push the recieving button, I think cknx closed about 15yrs ago, so ctv is not exactly true in their statement.
Also ckco is not far either so many in the wingham area have also been relying on them for local reports.
