I love that Kate links to Daily Tech...they're one of my favorite news sites to frequent, mostly because of Michael Asher articles related to debunking global warming. Jason Mick loves to be the counterpoint to Michael, which provides some balance, but Michael usually just crushes Jason when it comes down to the debates that occur on each articles comments section.

Ever notice how the CBC, CTV and Radio-Canabis always show file footage of industrial stacks in minus forty weather? I live in Saskatchewan, even the largest coal powered electrical generating plants near Estevan show no visible smoke in the summer months. Yet in Dec-Feb., you can see the vapour miles away. What`s visible is water, AKA vapour from the steam generators and moisture that is contained in the coal.
One would assume that professional journalists and their camera crews would exercise a certain level of honesty and integrity while broadcasting news about an important issue like global warming. Thank God, this last cold spell has leveled the playing field between reality and outright propaganda. I for one am fed up of the "Suzukian Cult."

Global warming is big at Air Canada as well. On the trip from Vancouver to Sydney, 15 1/2/ bloody hours worth at one crack, they had Al Gore's inconvenient truth on their system. A lady in front of me watched it and I wondered what she looked like, when she got up I got my look. Long flowing dress, goofy looking shoes, rings on every finger, a dozen bracelets and a face done up like a bad Halloween costume, gender wise the only thing missing was facial hair. To top it off you should have seen the two down under wonders that met them wearing outfits from the same wardrobe department. What a sight, all five of them, including what looked like a ten year old nipple sucker, dancing around their suitcases like it was a campfire shrieking. The same all over I guess, put a buzzard off his lunch.
I predict the next period of global warming in the northern hemisphere to occur sometime around mid-march. The MSM will be all over it.

I recall reading somewhere that, roughly, 1880-1910 was a cool period, 1910-1940 was warmer and 1940-1970 cool again. If that 30-year cycle is correct, it stands to reason that 1970-2000 would be warmer. That makes the AGW crowd right - temps were warming up. That it was normal and would not last is beside the point, not when your point is more and more government intervention and control.
