cape cod inlet.... classic. May the big guy have mercy on his soul...

That was priceless Kate, best laugh I've had since they removed the ten pound anvil from Pelosi's brain and found they were one and the same.

Oh, Oh. Hope Pelosi doesn't remember Fred Flintstone.

Iowahawk sets the bar ever higher.

that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Nicely done Kate.

VERY funny, yet sad to imagine as reality.

Is socialism winning?

Up here in Canada, they would name them the Layton Lazer

It's funny cause it's true.

Its funny until you realise its what the eco-fanatics are working towards.

Revnant Dream, you give the eco-fascists too much credit. This would be a mere stepping stone to their ultimate goal: back to the horse & buggy.

I love nothing better than driving down the road in my big 4x4 dodge 1 ton in the middle of winter and passing these little eco cars in the ditch.
They might sneer at me at the gas station but when they hit the ditch at -40c they want a free tow hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Barney Frank's in dash condom dispenser.

(Snort).

ps Kate -- you and Jonah are a little late on this one. You, at least, were kicking Ace of Spades' Yankee rear-end.

Almost as good as the Pelosi is the Peel P50 (seen in the video) tested here by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. Vintage Clarkson:

Can't be Colin. Then their comrades in PETA would be up in arms.

The guy on the toilet at the end was priceless! That must be the methane powered sub-compact version...

That was priceless. Well done Iowa Hawk. Condom dispenser -- hah! Cuts down on abortions, though no room in the back seat to do it. I guess it is back to mommy and daddy's couch, after a little spin around town in that dynamite vehicle.

Very funny! With bloggers like Kate, Ace, Atlas, Ezra et al, it should be an interesting 4 years.

If you visit Iowahawk's archives, you'll find an unpleasant story about that video. Officer Vic, who is credited with the voice-work, actually tried passing off the original script from Iowahawk verbatim as his own work on his (TV or radio, I forget) program. Iowahawk was, justifiably, PO'd and stole his voice-work for the video.

Ah... I believe I recognize the "Bond Bug"...

I actually recall seeing one of those on a used-car dealer lot... I don't think it sold, for it sat there for so long I lost track of time... think it was years... no one was interested...

Maybe it was just there as a joke, however... even used car dealers have a sense of humor, too...

However, I gotta admit that it does look bloody exotic, like a fun toy for my nephew/niece to play with in the backyard, what with its fighter-plane-type canopy making Lambo Countach doors look boring... yep, it'd be a hoot, and my brother's kids would totally adore the thing!

Little toys like that are deathtraps. Ought to be illegal on highways, unless we were to build secondary highways exclusively for silly toy cars... don't be surprised if Boreick Whosin Obummer makes that so!

--Don't forget about me... I do funny stuff as well as real serious stuff, in case some don't know already... and I often merge the serious with the funny to force people to think harder... and to drive Leftists nuts, 'cause I find that they're frequently too stupid/mentally lazy to understand which is which!.

Making commentary on silly little "cars" is both serious and funny, naturally, and one needs to think harder to look beyond the funniness of Kate's postings on funny tiny wheeled thingies to the serious side... which, as I see it, is, in a nutshell (no pun intended, though nano-cars are like nutshells on wheels for nuts to drive), a stark choice between being "environmentally responsible" and being safe and alive. I prefer the latter.

BWAA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

Hey... was that Gormley, there, at the end?

I wish I'd had that vid when I was battling the eco-freaks back in '07! Instead, all I had was this one.

The fag dancers were a nice touch, too!

This mirrors Buzz Hargrove's rantings that I interpreted to be a call for higher taxes to support CAW(and UAW) in building cars and at the same time ban people from driving.

Those guys dancing - yikes!

Bloody Priceless! Thank you.

They missed the best line in Iowahawk's original piece:

"Inside, a luxurious all-velour interior designed by Barney Frank features thoughtful appointments like in-dash condom dispenser and detachable vibrating shift knob

"Engage the pedal drive or strap on the optional jumbo mizzenmast, and the GTxi SS/Rt Sport Edition easily exceeds 2016 CAFE mileage standards"

You have to read the full piece; it's purely brilliant. Laughed myself sick when I read it last year. Odd, but I thought I posted a Reader Tip to this, too. Maybe not.
