The "Guys got MOXY Award".
-32 C with windchill, due to speed of the motorbike, would put one in the neighborhood of -50 C.
"Heated socks pants jacket and gloves I couldnt do it any other way."
Yeah, otherwise you would be like in a meat storage freezer!! Make sure you check that your battery pack doesn't fade on you and your properly plugged in.
And watch the road rash will ya.

Just another ordinary miracle. Michael Cole, one person, made our world a better place.
That ride deserves double donations.
this guy has a huge set of stones....my dad rode all winter when he was in the military in ww 2.... his heat came from sheep skin flight suits... his biggest fear was hitting ice and having the bike slide out from underneath him when he was meeting another vehicle..this fellow deserves double the donations for sure.
Now with the global warming, of course, -50 C feels like -49.
I had to LOL the other day when Maine broke their all-time state record and hit -50 F. It was -52 F across the border at Lac Manouane Quebec.
Stuff like this was supposed to be a thing of the past, and now we would be closing up ski resorts in various "marginal zones" due to lack of snow and too much mild weather and rain. Umm, what else do I remember from my indoctrination in 1990?
Oh yeah, palm trees springing up in New York City. Toronto not needing to budget for snow removal. Vancouver never seeing snow again. Citrus groves lining the shores of Great Slave Lake (I made that one up, I think).
Even with all those heated clothes, it must have been hard to keep brass balls that big from freezing.
WOW! - Just WOW!
...I'm just shivering here watching it.
What was he signaling to the FedEx truck that went by?
this guy has a huge set of stones
Well if they weren't before, they are now!
Good job, had heard a bit about this but haven't been the story too following closely. Can't let the disease run your life; it's kind of like riding a motorcycle in the winter.
LOL If I hadn't been plugged in I would not have made it for sure as well I did hit slush and Ice and laid the bike down ,But I only did it once. As for FedEx LOL it was a friendly wave hello the guys were taking video and pics My hand was frozen that's why it kinda looks like......Mike
...i kinda thought it wasn't anything, but from the angle of the truck videoing it kinda looks like you were saying 'quit blowing me around with your drafts' kinda gesture...
;-)
If any of you were considering a donation to SDA this month, I suggest you direct it to Mr. Cole instead.
:)
done.
After watching that ride into Regina I had a Rum & Coke out under the Palm trees... Yes life is good in Arizona when jack frost is nipping on your toes in Sask.. What no bike riders in Sask willing to ride along? All wussies like me!
