Ride For Diabetes - Michael Cole Emails

I was asked to send you an update on the ride as of right now I am in Valemount BC after a bike show in Edmonton , Which went well I had some good media coverage with CTV . Now just a few days from the final mile.
In one way I'm glad its coming to an end with all the worry and stress. The trip has all but bankrupt me. I hope to get lots of media at the end of the ride, after all if it wasn't for them this trip would have been a waste of time.

I am surprised he didn't get 'flash frozen' on his ride through the prairies!

Ya gotta have moxy to ride motorcycle in snowstorms and pretty chilly arctic air.

Safe ride and watch out for the sand trucks!

Road rash is always a hazard.

Just a little up-date I ended the ride as planed and on time 2 PM local time Mile Zero in Victoria BC Jan 22nd 2009 . People said it could not be done Well here I stand With a little effort we can achieve anything we want. I put my heart into this ride against all odds I made it. Some may still think I'm crazy , maybe so. I have just completed the first step of many When I give my word I keep it I will help find a cure ,change policies, treatments and education and make it available to every one
