I've been wondering why so many pro-Palestinian "reporters" have British accents. CTV had one on, who was claiming the Israelis were sniping at ambulances, and shooting doctors.

Israel seems to really get under their skin. I think it's because the Israeli government is truly "of the people". They're a true, grass-roots democracy. It's very common for Israeli politicians to have combat experience. They're a bit like the US was 150 years ago. That still seems to be a sore spot for the British elite, especially the left-wing elite.

The same might be said for Canadian Jew haters, like ET. An academic elite, who can't bear to see commoners making political decisions. It's too bad they don't realize that the elites might be the first casualty of the Islamic movement. Theocracies aren't very sympathetic to their homosexual, atheist, artistic tendencies.

I went to Pajamas and watched Joe. He isn't polished but as he states he is not the story. He says you know just about as many times as the pampered broad that may become a Senator.
What Joe does is make those responsible for the BS feel very, very small while giving a look and a feeling to what it is like. Kinda how O must feel now that, damn, I gotta do stuff.

The media/commie crowd thought that they would cow Joe W. by digging up and 'exposing' his past to the public - turns out Joe W. did not have a egregious past, turns out Joe W. has a past just like most of us - a few bruises and scars but no SECRET cancerous growths that could tar and feather a person in the real courtroom as verses the sham courtroom of PC corruption.

Joe did what thousands of us should be doing - he took the media to task (like Ezra, Mark, Kate and Kathey have done here in Canada). Joe is a role model for us, he is showing tax paying citizens how to USE the media when the media attempts to use and control us!

Barry, here's why I support and appreciate the efforts of Joe (Sam, actually) the plumber guy.

Its because if the plumber visits Israel there's a pretty good chance he won't make up a bunch of bullsh1t about it. He'll just go see it, and then tell me what he saw. He might miss some things a trained observer would notice, he may not be pretty and perky like an infobabe, but he most likely won't actively LIE about the place.

I can't get that from the mainstream media. They focus on the ten anti-Israel flags at the 10,000 man pro-Israel demonstration. They show me a picture of a Palestinian "official" standing next to a four inch hole in a concrete wall and tell me it was made by a tank.

I want to see the 10,000 people who are -for- Israel. I want to see the reporter explain that the Palestinian a$$hole is not an official, he actually works for Hamas and he's f-ing lying, because if a tank fired at that concrete wall, the wall would be fricking GONE. Four inch holes are made by .50 caliber rifles, not the main gun of a Merkava.

The fact that people turn to Joe for their news speaks volumes about the options that are available. Barry can muse all he wants about motive, but in the end, the more "educated" reporters haven't been able to produce a product that the public deems worthy of their attention.

Perhaps the more "educated" people in the industry should focus on their own output.

I disagree with the aforementioned person often enough, but I don't agree with the statement I commented on.

There are many discussions here where "trolls" make disingenuous arguments. It is wise to be suspect of these people and not to "feed the trolls". On the other hand, there are people who have very thoughtful opinions, although they may not be correct. If one of these people has a different opinion that I, I choose to give them the benefit of the doubt. From what I've read of the aforementioned persons posts, I've concluded that we just disagree(sometimes), not that the persons opinion is irrational.

I don't profess to be a wise person; I just call it like I see it, wait to get chastised; and then try to build from there.

'only 20 israilis killed' is simply a statement of fact. It was being compared to a much larger number of palestinians having been killed. It does not denote favor to one side or the other.

From my point of view, if my neighbors blindfold one of their own with a rifle, and spin him around in a circle, then laugh and cheer when he 'accidentally' kills only one of my family, I have the right to take out the whole lot of them. I would sleep very comfortably the next night.
