Using Every Tool Available, With The Exception Of Google

Dec. 3, 2008 – President-elect Barack Obama names New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson Commerce secretary calling him “a leading economic diplomat for America…”
Jan. 4, 2009 – Obama’s press secretary Robert Gibbs on Richardson’s withdrawal – “I think our vettors have done a good job”.
Nov. 17, 2008; – Heath Haussamen, on New Mexico Politics

In addition, the FBI is probing dealings between the state and a California firm that was paid almost $1 million related to a $1.6 billion transportation program. Investigators are looking into at least two financial contributions totaling $100,000 that the company involved, CDR Financial Products, made to political committees formed by Richardson around the time it won the state contract related to Governor Richardson’s Investment Partnership (GRIP) in 2004.

  1. chorus: “He’s got the whole wide world, under his bus…”
    (repeat)
Make that 599,999 new government employees.

  2. It seems that the only thing standing in between any politician and a jail sentence is evidence.
    That are all guilty.

  3. I have to hand it to Obama. He has the MSM eating out of his hand like he was the coolest guy in high school and they (the media) was the nerd who thought that if he could just be pals with the cool guy then some of that the coolness would rub off.
The media will go on ad naseum about anything that makes Obama look good. They will not spend five minutes chasing a real lead because if a story they tripped over was negative it would keep Obama from concentrating his powers of perfection on the important matters that he was incarnated to resolve. To paraphrase the words of Leonard Cohen “And they want to travel with him And they want to travel blind And they think maybe they’ll trust him For he’s touched their perfect (tingly legged) bodies with his mind.
The LA Times actively suppressed negative information regarding Obama. The public only has the right to know something “confidential” if it helps Obama.
Dumpster diving in Wasilla was much more important and relevant than the Ayers story or the Wright story or the Rezko story or the Blagojevich story or Obama’s brother’s ghetto story or the Rashid Khalidi story or most recently the Richardson story.
    Predictions for 2009.
    1) Someone, somewhere is starting a multi-million dollar fund to thoroughly investigate Obama the way the media should have investigated Obama before the MSM ordained and anointed him during the phony primary and presidential campaigns.
    2) When the flood of true verifiable information comes out regarding the media’s false messiah the media will have a group epiphany and suddenly snap half way out of their mass hypnotic trance and claim they were victims of Obamamania not the perpetrators.

It’s all in the timing. By then they will be just another part of the crush under the bus, so all you might hear, if you were to cock you head carefully and cup your hand to your ear, would be a muted “what the f***!!!”.

  5. BDS morphs to OBS.
    …-
“Code Pink protesting outside Obama’s hotel
Fox News just showed footage of Code Pink protesting outside the Hay-Adams hotel in DC where Obama is staying, demanding that he condemn Israel. Fox also reported that Code Pink plans to be there every day until the end of Obama’s stay.
    No link yet.”

Wonder if Fat Jack Murtha will join his buddies in the protest.)

  6. maz2
Psssst Just to let you know that is what CodePink is about…opposing war. It’s their right to do so.
Just like its your right to make dispensable nonsensical paranoid posts.

  7. For those not thrown under the bus or hired by the driver there is the option of jumping from the bus – which is what the radical unpleasable left – code pink, huffpost, and KOS will be doing sooner or later.
What is not well understood by many is how weak BO’s mandate really is. As newt Gingrich and several others have documented, a very large majority of Americans are center-right on most issues. Once the novelty of BO’s blackness wears off – and it will – there is precious little that Americans agree with him on.
Without the left-wing fellow-Travellers to back his play he will be a chew-toy for house and senate.

  8. not stirred enough
Pssst Just to let you know, CodePink was mislead about The Messiah and The Change They Had Hoped For – hope which was nonsensical on their part.

  9. Shaken,
I don’t think Code Pink was mislead by Obama…he promised more diplomacy and dialogue not the end of all wars. CP just gets more media mileage by boycotting his hotel.
BTW my position is that Israel has every right to defend itself against the Hamas provocation.

  10. Hmm, so Obam-uh has to fire one of his cabinet before he’s even sworn in – and if you think Richardson “withdrew” and wasn’t fired you’re kidding yourself. Shouldn’t this be one of the headline stories at CBC or CTV…or at least visible on the front/home pages?

  11. Sadly, this is trivial little incident is diverting the MSM’s attention from covering what really matters: what Obama ate and when, and his golf game.
