Remember about two Years ago near Chistmas the weather was mild in Canada and the Liberals along with the MSM was predicting that the world was going to end becasue of Global Warming, you could not even enjoy the mild weather without feeling quilty everytime you turned on the radio or opened a newspaper. I've often pointed out how the only people still believing in global climate change are those that are making a living from government provided funding... but not to any great degree of success. My parents for example, while it must be difficult to accept anything not taught to them by government (they were lifelong gov't employees) cannot reply to any discussion of global climate change with anything more than a "but it seems warmer" while they sit and watch the CBC, listen to the CBC radio exclusively.... and dad swears that Tommy Douglas was a great guy. oh well, that's why people have sports to talk about at Christmas isn't it?

Why do they never talk to any of the thousands of scientist who question AGW? Why do they never cover any of their events like the big conference in New York a few months back? Why do they not follow the money stream flowing to Al Gore while he creates more global warming than most African countries?

As more stuff about the big Zero (his smoking, his girl friend, his past drug use, his neglected brother) comes out of the closet so too will stuff about the weak case for global warming. In both cases the media is 100% to blame for taking sides and not digging for the truth where ever it may lead.

set you free, I think you're still behind the times. Recently, I've been noticing what seems to be a deliberate shift in the terminology from the Kool-Aid drinkers to Climate CRISIS.

What gets me is how it is 24/7 ecology. How to make environmentally-friendly Christmas crafts. How the Botanical Garden has a Green Santa.

How did the papers and tv news fill their pages and minutes before all this nonsense?

Lots of snow here in Montreal and not too many snow plows to be seen. But we have a Eco-Quartier in our neighbourhood that you can visit and get ideas on how to be a better citizen.

Now the Santa that lives here in rural Ontario is in a panic over the global warming raging outside this 4 days before Christmas. A 100horsepower tractor, dual auger blower, copious amount of diesel fuel and a 3/4 ton 4X4 pickup are required to get the wife's new tractor lawn mower gift outa his hiding spot. Minus 30 in the wind....where's the damn grass that is suppose to be needing to be cut with global warming?
And as Canadians don't we bar-b-que at these temperatures?

Here in Kingston we just got another 4", thats 'I don't have a clue' in metric, and it's not over.
To stave off the effects of Glow-ball warming I finally gave in, 'at 54 ', and purchased a new John Deere snow throwing unit, cause I just can't do it by hand anymore.

Well, over here on the Atlantic coastline in Saint John, I awoke to -19 degrees C, despite the famous moderating effects of the always-relatively-warm-in-winter waters of the Bay of Fundy on temperatures. Already snow's beginning to fall this afternoon, and we're facing up to a foot of snowfall tonight.

Nothing unusual about that, but it's unusual compared to some of the past several years, which saw warmer temps and less snow, causing the likes of Al Gore to cook up that big hoax of "global warming" and "climate change" based on just a few years' flukey-warm winters.

It's returning to normal, already, which is to say, cold and snowy, which is normal for Canada.

The reasonable person will not believe that the world is getting warmer when the see it getting colder, and unusually so, and snowy, in places where it's not supposed to, like Nevada, Florida, Texas, the Middle East... hell, they'll know we've got global COOLING, as warned about in the Seventies... OMG! It's finally happening... the Ice Age is coming back! And it must be our fault! Yep, it's our fault, for reducing carbon emissions, thus causing the world to get colder... OMG! There's going to be extinctions, we'll be unable to grow crops, etc... AHHHHH!

Ok, there's my breath of fresh reality... and unbridled sarcasm... for the day.

And you can quit listening to the lies and fearmongering of the money-mad Moe (in exile in Red China) Strong, the UN's scary-monster creation, the IPCC, and Al Gore, with his horror movie and stuff, all of whom only want to make a quick buck from this whole snake oil campaign to scare the money out of everyone's pockets.

One could almost understand the ranting of the warmies, if they didn't always have the redistribution of wealth tagged on the end of it.

Kyoto will make Canadian business less competitive with China's which has next to no pollution laws to deal with.
So more industry will shut down here and move to China.
How will that reduce pollution and C02 emissions again?
I keep asking the greens that but they don't seem able to answer.
How will shutting our clean factories down and opening dirty ones in China, plus shipping raw materials there and finished products back, end up reducing pollution and C02 emissions?
Maybe someone else can get an answer out of a green on that one, cause I sure can't.

In a not so ironic twist out here in BC, since Gordon Campbell introduced his Carbon Tax (so he could look his grandchildren in the eye) there is an extra charge at the bottom of my gas bill.

The colder it gets, the more gas I must use to heat my home, the more I pay in Carbon Taxes to save the planet from heating up.

Someday at one of Al Gores presentations,someone is going to start to giggle at his preachings,then start to laugh.Then others are going to join in and they will have to haul poor Al off in a straight jacket never to be heard from again.

The bus from Calgary lost heat about 1 hour into the trip. Wish it had Liz May, Dion and the crew instead of grandma's, kids and normal folk. Not a pleasant morning.
