Well. There's a bummer!!! Too many people accessing the website!

Chris Mathews winning quote:
“I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often….And that is an objective assessment.”
He calls that objective. I guess if he married Obama that would be subjective.

If the "O" getting in is all it takes for Chris to have a thrill going up his leg,I really do feel sorry for his wife.

Justthinkin

Mathews IS the wife.

"Today, the audacity of hope had its rendezvous with destiny....Obama is now an adopted son of Camelot."

Camelot!

Camelot!

We're knights of the Round Table,
we dance whene'er we're able.
We do routines and chorus scenes with footwork impec-cable,
We dine well here in Camelot,
we eat ham and jam and Spam a lot.
We're knights of the Round Table,
our shows are for-mi-dable.
But many times we're given rhymes that are quite un-sing-able,
We're opera mad in Camelot,
we sing from the diaphragm a lot.
In war we're tough and able,
Quite in-de-fa-ti-gable.
Between our quests we sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable.
It's a busy life in Camelot...

I have to push the pram a lot!

...on second thought let's not go to Camelot...it is a silly place.

That quote wasn't related to Barry's win. It was just in response to a speech.

I cannot imagine what Matthews really wanted to say when Barry won in November.

Couldn't even force myself to read them all. What drivel.

[Rush Limbaugh] Bill Maher: "You mean the OxyContin that he was on?...Why couldn’t he have croaked from it instead of Heath Ledger?" — HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, February 8.

Because there is no god.

O'Rourke was the biggest disappointment, eh?
Currying favour with the new regime maybe?

And then there's traitor-opportunitst Colin Powell who, because he saw the mother of a fallen muslim soldier mourning at a cemetery, seemed to suggest that we are unreasonable in fearing political islam. A classic liberal fallacy. The general's a dork.
And who -- utterly disregarding the twin Bush and Palin Derangement Syndromes --called out the right for its unpleasantness.

It's gonna be awfully, awfully lonely on the right!

Hey Kate, over at Free Republic when they post a link to MSM media containing over-the-top, leftist, pro-Dem drivel, they add a "Barf Alert" to warn readers of what's to come.

I could have used one before reading what I just read.lol

It would be really funny if these idiots did not exercise such an influence with the lazy voters.
Must say the analogy of Camelot has always confused me. Arthur's best friend cheated with his wife and he was killed by his son who was also his nephew. That is not something to aspire to.

Yikes, and these award winners are professional(UNBIASED) journalists?

Have to leave. Goin to throw-up. Buff...!

Not a media quote, but let's not forget Jack Layton chastising Stephen Harper for subsidizing "big oil and big ass."

Raucous laughter in the House of Commons.

Re: "Obama is now an adopted son of Camelot"

So that would presumably make D.C. Obamelot?

I figure by this spring, May, 2009, we will be seeing "OMG REALITY, we never thought it would hit an Obama thingy!!!111!"

This outrage is all so very, very principled. I remember when the rightwingnuts were up in arms when Chris Matthews gushed about G.W. Bush, "sometimes it glimmers with this man, our president, that kind of sunny nobility," or labeled a Bush speech "brilliant" before Bush had even given it, or said of an already unpopular Bush, "Everybody sort of likes the president, except for the real whack-jobs."

He's a bandwagoner and a gusher of purple prose across the board. Has been for years. Fluffed for Bush relentlessly, too. The idea that this is somehow special to Obama, or characteristic of a liberal media, could only be spouted (honestly, that is) by the utterly blinkered or the those with grossly defective memories.
