"It’s simple. Just list all the jobs you’ve had in your life, in order. Don’t bust your brain: no durations or details are necessary, and feel free to omit anything that you feel might tend to incriminate you. I’m just curious. And when you’re done, tag another five bloggers you’re curious about."
I've been tagged by Damian Penny, so here goes, though it's pretty boring;
- pedigreed seed bagger, grain truck driver, tractor jockey*
- figure skating coach
- show dog handler
- self-employed commercial artist
And I now hand the task off to:
Cjunk
Robert Jago
Edward Michael George
Leftdog
The Anchoress
Huh. Show off.

Kate, I AM impressed. Boring? No way!
Brava!
Merry Christmas too--and many thanks.
Hay, I was raised as a pharm kid also, and up, haf several years road exp. driving by the time I turned legal
as far as my adult work experience goes, don't ask, as I'ma dyslexic with ADD, and thusly get bored quickly. Also worked 2 & 3 jobs on many stretches of time, so I had 45 jobs under my belt by the time I bought my own bus., 21 years after I graduated grade 12:-)))))
And you're living proof that while "higher" education may enhance quality of life (jury's still out on that), the absence of it sometimes simply make the brilliance of a diamond "in the rough" shine that much brighter. I applaud your matter-of-fact "simple" roots. A Princess you may not be, but royalty you certainly are.
I regret that I am old enough and far enough way that we will not likely ever meet, but I salute you nonetheless. Have a great Christmas and a splendid New Year.

Is 4 okay....?
Figure skating coach? Didn't know that. Sounds cool to me.
Probably a little like training puppies, for puppies and people do, in my opinion, have a lot in common, except for the obvious differences. On a basic level, while people are far more complex and sophisticated, the basic ability to learn is very similar. Which begs the question: As Leftists appear incapable learning (though it's more an unwillingness, an obvious shortcoming of humans compared to canines, who are pretty much always eager to learn), does this mean that puppies are smarter than Leftist humans? Just wondering out loud... Wouldn't blame you for prefering the company of puppies to Leftists!
I hate being tagged! I will do a proper post on my site after Christmas BUT in the meanwhile here are my contributions to the working world:

Merry Christmas to all! Be nice to someone less fortunate than you ....
(Leftdog, good advice! I believe a lot of us here are nice to the less fortunate: we don't count on the government to do that.
Like many here, we're involved in providing a warm space and Christmas dinner to those who are alone. My husband and I prepared our share of the dinner this afternoon and will deliver it to our church tomorrow. "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Thanks again, Kate, for all you give to this country--sanity, for one thing!!)

“I believe a lot of us here are nice to the less fortunate: we don't count on the government to do that”.
We do! Count on the government that is. That’s why they take all that tax money from us. When Charity shows up at the door I take pride in telling them we’ve given already…….and lots!

I'll amend that: "I believe a lot of us here are nice to the less fortunate: we don't count on the government to do [all of] that”!
Another amendment: sorry. Governments are NOT nice. (And Knight 99, I hear you. But, many Christians I know give $thousands on top of their taxes to help others.)

While in high school I worked in a retail store that sold and serviced radios/tv's and appliances. I continued there for about 6 months after I graduated. In 1971 I went into the financial services industry - insurance/investment advisor and have been there ever since. I guess I'm a bit of an anomaly as most people change careers several times.
Knight 99: resident expert on the perils of the seeping cultural piracy of Western Civilization.
Somehow, I've intuited the dangers but you, having lived in all these places, having observed non-Western cultures first-hand, have been there, done that, and KNOW we need to guard our democratic freedoms.
'Must be frustrating to see so many Canadians sleepwalking, oblivious to the dangers of abdicating our cultural heritage.
Go well the road, Knight 99.
Started as a oilfield labor as a jack hammer and goon spoon operator. 1.5yrs.
Went to production operator in oilfield for 19 yrs.
