A Very Happy Christmas Kate and also to the extended family of sda posters, even the lurker-trolls, who, after all, desperately want to 'come in from the cold'. And most especially Kate's Renaissance-Man, genius-helper Vitruvius!

Quite the Christmas in Vancouver. In the last few days, I've a) schlepped 2 kms through the snow to my house with a 25-lb bag of ice-melt on my shoulder and b) schlepped about 5kms return with my 12-lb turkey beginning what may be a new tradition with my daughter: the annual global warming turkey trek.
