For those of you wondering where DMB has gone, Darcey advises that he's in the process of changing hosting companies and should be up again in a couple of days.

But, but, what about my blues and beer fix?!
Even a couple of days is too long without Darcey and his band of mugs.
Got the ol' pout lip happenin'. Tonight is supposed to be Friday Night Blues & Beer.
Tanks!
Thanks, Kate. I was wondering if maybe he'd been hacked again.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Oh well...we'll just crash here at Kate's.
Cheers Broomers
Al Quaeda and Global Warming.
Who knew?

This should hold you over until Darcy is back:

Been wondering all day. Jonesing for the blues.
That problem is answered, but does anyone know what happened to Conservative Reporter.
Dammmmmmitanyway.... Christmas party canceled due to host having flu .... Stinking cold outside and snowstorm coming..... time to get hammered and go toboggan...........
Just picture this in the pitch black ... If only we could get a reporter or two to play!
LMAO, looks like that reporter found the asteroid...
Thanks for the update!
But now where am I suppose to leave my late night beer induced smart-ass comments this friday evening???
Darn, I was hoping to listen to Friday night blues tonight to help me forget about the Ottawa bus strike that the Feds should have ended a week ago had Harper not peroged the House...
M-D - It's not up to the Fed's to resolve a local problem. The transit strike is provincial jurisdiction or couldn't you bring yourself to blame a liberal for your labour problems? ;)
Jeremiah says:
Not one more night not one more kiss
Not this time babe no more of this
Takes too much skill takes too much of will
It's too revealing.
On the rising curve where the ways of nature will test every nerve
You don't get anything you don't deserve where we were born in time.
You pressed me once you pressed me twice
You hung the blade you'll pay the price
Oh babe that fire is still smoking.
Without the guidance of the Imam, I am lost as to what beer to drink tonight!
Guess I'll have to fall back on the old favourite, Panther Piss & Jack Daniels.
And listen to an old J.D.Short RECORD on my Victrola!;-)
looks like SDA is hosting tonight
Hey Bear, please get your facts right:

Well...it's YOUR problem, madrigras.Seeing as it goes from the ROC to Querbec,if the Lieberals of yore hadn't bent over for LaBelle provacatuers, you wouldn't be in this state.Guess what?Out here Greyline buses go into the states,BC,Sakabush, etc. If they strike,in say,Edmonton, then it is AB's right to legislate them back to work. Not our problem you gave your provincial rights awat to appease the separatists!!
It shouldn't take that long to change hosting companies. The way to do it is to upload all your content to the new server BEFORE the switch and then just wait for the DNS change to propagate. At most, this should take 24 hours (at least in my experience).
****Blues Alert**** OMMAG has some tunes happenin'.
OT:
This is the first sentence of the Liberal/NDP/Bloc coalition agreement - an agreement the entire liberal caucus - including Iggy - signed onto. Pay particular attention to the last 3 words.
The new Government is supported by parties that share a commitment to fiscal responsibility, a progressive agenda and a belief in the role of Government to act as a partner with Canadians and Quebecers.
The Conservative party is going beat Iggy's political brains in with this.
Heaven help Lloydminster, AB if they put in a public transit system that crosses to Sask and there is strike when the House is peroged and no Friday night blues is available. Keep that Terraplane idling.
PiperPaul - Give D a break.
D - What PiperPaul says.
There isn't much on the Sask side I'd want to take a bus too anyway.
Oh and there is this thing called an Order in Council. The liberals were really good at writing them into bills so that they wouldn't need to take important decisions before the house and have them debated on. Governing is so much easier when you can slide things through without discourse.
hahaha .... Perogeed the house! ... har!
Tonight's offering, Hecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier...
99 bottles says it better than me:

Sure, it's easy to switch hosting companies if your current one gives you some notice they're going down. These guys didn't, they just pulled the plug.
No way to bring out any of the content on their server. It's like someone just disconnected the box and tossed it out.
Let this be a lesson.....
Shere - it's one of those rare moments that a $50/month Telus shared site is actually worth it.
