We are seeing the emergence of a new causality for crimes among minority groups.
Previous causes were social and economic and focused around the theory that the members of a particular minority group practised various crimes, such as marketing drugs, theft, battery, homicide, because they were: the victims of racism or discrimination or other hurt feelings. This coupled with an assertion that they behaved this way because of poverty. In all situations, these people were not, either as individuals or communities, responsible for their choices. They were deemed hapless victims of the larger, white, colonial, community.
Claims that European newcomers to the country were equally impoverished, were equally subject to discrimination (Irish, Jewish etc) were ignored.
Attempts to alleviate these assumed causes were via pouring money into the areas for ‘basketball courts’, via welfare, subsidized housing, drastic brainwashing via the schools which moved into ‘no child fails no matter how little he does’ attitudes. Didn’t work. Instead, this strategy established, more firmly, a dependent culture that viewed itself as a victim requiring ever more govt handouts.
Now, we are seeing a continuation of this leftist perspective; the charges against the larger society continue. The society is accused of ‘racism’, ignoring that these minority groups have made their own choices in lifestyle and that other equally impoverished groups have not taken that same route.
Now, however, we are seeing a new causal theme. It continues to reject any responsibility of the individuals who choose to rob, sell drugs, kill others. The new causality is ‘innate’; it’s psychological.
The Report on Violence in Toronto schools has come up with this claim. The culprits are all ‘mentally disturbed’ and the solution is to set up more social workers/psychologists to ‘treat’ these ‘victims’.
And, we see that in the conflict in Muslim communities, which have been deliberately encouraged by the Liberal govt to set themselves up as isolated, to reject accomodating themselves to Canadian values, to retain their old mindsets and not integrate within Canada…we see that the conflict between parents who want to keep their daughters/sons in the old behaviour..and go so far as to murder them in honour killings…
well, this behaviour is also being defined as a psychological aberration, not as a choice made by the parent who kills his daughter because in his mindset, she has disgraced the family. Remember, the retention of this mindset is encouraged by the Liberal multicultural policies and by our HRCs.
The new theme is that ‘honour killings’ have nothing to do with any cultural notion of correct family behaviour; the act is an individual action and shows that the man is psychologically ‘disturbed’.
The National Post has a column on this today, ‘a war of words over honour killings’. You see, some Muslims object to the term ‘honour killing’ because it describes a mindset that is found only among Muslim cultures that view women as chattels of the men – this is clearly outlined in the Qu’ran, in a chapter on Women.
Some Muslims are trying to move the action out of the Muslim community and say it’s common in all cultures, and is really a factor of patriarchy (the much loved term of the ignorant feminists)and has nothing to do with the Islamic culture.
Actually, no, this behaviour is not, now, common in all cultures; indeed, even in the western patriarchal era, the notion of ‘honour killing’ was absent. But it’s particularly found in Islamic communities and refusing to acknowledge this means that yet again, the Muslim community is refusing to examine itself.
I don’t have the link for it,but there is a $2 million report on youth crime in Toronto over at CTV.ca. In this report they come up with the usual more basketball courts,etc.,and of course racism. I figure that since most of the shootings in TO are black on black ,related to the drug trade,that the grand poobahs will be directing the young precious ‘yutes’to start shooting people of a different colour to promote diversity.

Like these other issues, “fixing” global warming has become yet another meaningless promise that all politicians of all stripes will be paying lip service to in perpetuity.
One they will spend billions of our dollars “fixing” year after year. To no avail.
In the end, “fixing” global warming will be a boon only to present and future generations of lobbyists, activists, consultants and other rent-seekers who will be, in the famous phrase coined by Tom Wolfe, “mau-mauing the flak catchers” into eternity.
“Mau-mauers” are the professional whiners who perpetually haunt the corridors of federal, provincial and municipal governments, demanding ever-increasing amounts of our money to “fix” global warming.”

Youth crime is directly related to poor to no parenting. ADD should be re-labelled PDD (Parent Deficit Syndrome).
No one wants to talk about the epidemic of neglected children in Canada, but that is the only converstation that really matters. Kids are angry that their parents neglect them. They’re angry that they’re put in substitute care, whether daycare, after-school care, or with a babysitter. They’re angry that their parents have no time for them and are never home–whatever the reason.
But, so as not to either disturb or offend the “adults” in any way, there is no mention of parents shirking their responsibilities towards their kids. ALL of society is now being asked to be surrogate parents to neglected kids. Teachers have been asked to take on this job for years.
As long as we refuse to name the problem–neglected children, negligent parents–we’re going to have the same problems, and compounded as each generation succumbs to the same anger and violence.
I’ve been told about my observations “You can’t say that.”

“It could mean discontinuing obstetrics in our hospitals, and we may need to consider taking the drastic step of closing our Catholic hospitals entirely,” Paprocki said. “It would not be sufficient to withdraw our sponsorship or to sell them to someone who would perform abortions. That would be a morally unacceptable cooperation in evil.”

During the campaign, Obama promised the bill would be the first he would sign as president. George Bush made a critical mistake after the attack on September 11th; a mistake that created the presidency of Barack Obama. Bush could not name the enemy-political Islam. Then in the Iraq war he was only effective at the military war. Churchill and Roosevelt were great war leaders because they were able to conduct a military war and a propaganda war at the same time. A political leader’s task in war is as an ideological leader. The generals cannot do this job.
As a result, Bush won the military war and lost the propaganda war. Those who hated the Iraq war were drawn to Obama. This is how Bush created Obama’s success.
Bush is incapable of being an ideological leader. On September 12th he should have declared political Islam to be the enemy of all kafir civilization. In doing so, he would have only repeated what was in the Koran and the Sunna of Mohammed. Instead, his blindness made him create a logical impossibility-a war without an enemy.
Islam is the perfect war machine. It has both a military strategy, found in the Sira and the Hadith, and a brilliant war ideology. This perfect war machine has worked flawlessly for 1400 years and is working brilliantly today. November 4 th was a greater victory for political Islam than September 11th.
